Connecting to TV (advice on accessories...)?

Ordering a new 15 inch applemacbook pro in the next couple of days,
but want it to connect to my samsung 32-inch tv, what accessories do I need? or what hardware would you suggest I add to the 2.53GHz model?
for it to run in the best quality

What happens when, after you connect your cam, you go to File > Import Media?
But before that, does your cam require you to export your video files upon USB connection? I have a JVC Everio HD and I have to "Export to Library" from the cam's menu first-thing. This was true even in prior iMovie versions.

I feel for you bro i had this same BS problem only a few days ago. I must have spent about 5 hours in total trying to fix it and this included perusing these forums for an answer of which none of the 'solutions' worked, i tried using it on other PC's of which none of them it worked. Tried sw reinstallations, SP/2 reinstallations/removals, hardware changes to USB blah blah nothing worked and its's not like i don't know jack about computers because I do.
Your even lucky because in my case all that was required was the latest FW upgrade to make my player COMPLETELY UNRECOGIZABLE by both the FW installation program and WMP0 hence I couldn;t even downgrade.... I removed the FW thinkin it was corrupt as exactly what you did but because of Creatives wonderful TQM I couldn't even put different FW on.
In the end I just sent it back for a return but now I'm kinda regretting doing so as reading these forums shows that there are 0 issues with this player that Creative simply overlooked and sooner or later I might get with one of them (headphones anyone?!). If the next one is a dud I may wait for the new iRi'ver h0 or somrthing.

So I decided to do a factory unlocking. From an website, based in Mumbai, I unlocked it. When I check now in different websites from my IMEI number, my iphone is unlocked. So I became happy that I can now upgrade my iphone. But the events turned to be different.When I connected to iTunes, iTunes stopped working and my iphone did not appear in the iTunes. My iPod had full charge and suddenly cut out, now it wont turn on, iTunes wont connect either, any advice?

Hey everyone, right, i was recently using my iPod touch 4th gen (which had been on charge for about 5 hours), i took a quick 2 minute break and got back to find the screen blank, now the iPod wont turn on. I have tried connecting it to iTunes but it doesnt even connect. I havent got any jailbreaking software on there although i havent updated the software in a while. Any advice?

- See if resetting the iPod will eithr bring it to life or asllow itunes to see the iPod so you can restore the iPod via iTunes
- Next see if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow it to be restored.. For recovry mode see:

- Last, make an appontment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem.

Loss of speed to broadband connection..Any advice?

Wondering if i could grab some help /advice.
I have just come back from a short break and have noted that my internet connection has slowed from the normal 3.8mb connection down to around 0.5mb.
now having read a few posts in the forum i have noticed that my noise margin which is usually around 6db/6db down/up, is now reporting 28.3db/6db down/up.
i am assuming that this is the cause of my slower internet connection. When i first logged into my modem eariler today i noticed that the connection time was only 2.5 days., so i am assuming it has reset while i have been away.
I have since tried to reset my modem and it is still reporting the the same speeds.
Is there anything i can do to reset the margin or is it something that need to be carried out by some other BT type genius.
When i have had issues last year i did get some success from the call centres but this took ageeeeeess to resolve.
I have posted below details from my moden. Notice the connectiopn time is due to the reset i carried out.
Iam currently running a home hub 2 which is directly into my test socket. (and has been since i had issues last year)

Cant connect to Itunes - advice urgently required please!

I recently installed version 7.7 of Itunes and now I cannot connect to my I tunes store.
It is saying that I am not connected to the internet even though I am actually connected.
I have read on apple.com that it may be because I have installed this new version 7.7, i need simple advice on how to resolve this and it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you running any of Symantec's (Norton) or McAfee's Internet security products or anything similar, or an antivirus/antispyware application? There have been reports that some such utilities treat an upgrade to iTunes as a new application and can block the application from running. So you have to go in and reset the utility to allow iTunes. The same thing can happen if you upgrade the security product (this has particularly been a problem with recent McAfee upgrades).
Check the settings for your utility. If iTunes is still listed, remove and re-enable the exception for iTunes (consult your utility's documentation for the appropriate procedure). You may also need to check the built-in Windows firewall as well.

I have to MBPs one one wifi network; when one connects, the other disconnects. Can't keep them both connected. Any advice?

We have two MBPs on an Asus router (N56U) and we find that only one computer can connect at a time. Within a few seconds of the other connecting, the one that was connected disconnects. When we try to log on again, we're told that the connection timed out. Or it "connects" but there is no internet. Any advice?

Thank you for this. I agree: the problem seems to be either the router or the modem. I now have an Airport Extreme and am hoping this solves the problem.
Only now I have another problem--the airport utility can't find the airport extreme if I plug in an external harddrive into the airport extreme. I should start another thread for this, yes?

Switch (Non sap system) supports TCP/IP only.
Non Sap system accepts XML structure.
He has given IP address and port of Non Sap System.
Question.
1. Can I use HTTP Receiver Adapter for TCP/IP Communication
    with Addressing Type --- HTTP Destination
2. For above HTTP Destination can I make TCP/IP Connection
    (Type T) using sm59 tx.
3. I am not able to make TCP/IP Connection (Type T) if I
    have only IP address and port of Non Sap System.
How to connect XI --- Switch (Non sap system) for TCP/IP.

Your information is not very helpful.
Try to figure out, what exactly the system needs to be connected. TCP/IP is base of ANY connection between computers, this information is not useful.
What system do you want to access? Name? Vendor? Documentation?
What protocol is supported by the system? HTTP? XML?
If you do not tell more about your scenario, it is impossible to help you.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If restarting doesn't help, reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that doesn't help, sign out in Settings>iTunes and App Store. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad, sign in again and try iMessage again.

Can't Keep A Constant Connection...Advice?

Using Airport Xtreme 802.11, Mac Pro, OSX 10.5.7, all latest updates. Safari connects to a site...like this...and maybe two more. Then next place I go....just stalls out and finally says "Can't Find Server." Tried changing the channel several times, works for a handful of sites, then stalls again. Been going on for days. Any ideas?

Sound like the DNS server that you are using is overloaded.
Instead of your current DNS settings, try using OpenDNS. The settings are:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

My iPhone 5 will not charge. Even though it will show that it is charging, it will often not accept a charge. Appears to be the lightening connection, because I can sometimes get it to work by playing with the connection point. Phone is 16 months old. This problem has been on-going for months, and is getting worse.
Anything I can do other than buying another new phone?

Router's now on but lost my 2 macbook connections... advice?

All: My netgear router got unplugged ... and when I turned the router back on, I had lost my two macbook connections (a new macbook air and a really old macbook). I know the wifi is working as my ipad grabs it, but it won't work on the two notebooks despite my trying to reset them again. I have turned the wifi on in each of them. Any tips on what I should try next?

It could possibly be a firmware glitch. If you're already using the updated firmware version, reload the firmware might help. By the way, were your 2.4 GHz client devices on sleep mode when you noticed the 2.4 GHz LED went off?

Iphone4 wont connect to or play through accessories dock via 30 pin connector but charges ok??

As the title states really!
I can connect and play songs via the head phone jack but not via the 30 pin connector on the bottom. For example, when fitted in a dock (I have 3 different ones to try), FM transmitter or anything else through that 30 pin connector it wont recognise the phone to play songs, but the phone will charge fine through all of these and I can plug in into my PC and access itunes.
Its not the end of the world, just frustrating as i cant use the docks for playing music, they are just really expensive chargers now!
I would be greatful for any help or ideas, i cant find anyone with the same problem.

I'm experiencing the same problem now. I cannot play any music through the doc connector on my iPhone 4. Music plays through the headphone jack just fine. I have the feeling that this is a software issue with the iPhone 4, iOS 5.0.1.
