Connecting to TV IN-OP HELP
My MBP will not connect to an external tv like it use to. i have the proper (Mac) hdmi cable and when i connect to the TV my MBP would blink blue once like it use to but then return to its regular state. The TV never shows my MBP contents were as it did before. Also now my Safari will not open it keeps saying Safari quit unexpectedly. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple (options Ignore, Report, Reopen. and nothing fixes it. I am having to use mozilla on my MBP to even send this help requet out. HELP

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
If nothing above helped, restart your router.

Problem connecting wirelessly from iMac to NETGEAR router, get invalid password message with WPA and WPA-2 encryption in place but if I remove them, so no security, can connect without a problem. Help!!
Thank you for your suggestion but I have already had a couple of phone sessions with NETGEAR support and they don't see any problems with the router settings etc. They referred me to Apple support, who helped me discover that it is possible to communicate with the router but only if I turn off the encryption/security software, which I don't want to do. The frustrating thing is that I can connect wirelessly from a laptop running Windows 7 and two Anroid smart phones, with WPA-2 in place, without a problem. Do you have any other ideas?

No Internet Connection In Solaris 10 Please Help
I installed Solaris 10 on a Dell Dimension 3000 on my home network. It took my 3 days to finally figure out that I had to make changes to my /etc/driver.alias file but I finally got my integrated Intel pro/100 nic to work.
Now I can ping my DSL gateway and I can ping the other 'Windows' computers on my network but I cannot connect to the Internet. Help will be greatly appreciated.
Also. I am able to access my Gateways configuration pages through the web browser with http://192.168.1.1.
Thanks in advance.Looks like you need to setup your /etc/resolv.conf and use the correct /etc/nsswitch.conf
1. To setup /etc/resolv.conf you need to know your ISP's nameserver IP. Since you have access to your router, you can get those information from there.
For example, my /etc/resolv.conf looks like this:
search comcast.com comcast.net
nameserver <comcast's primary nameserver ip>
nameserver <comcast's secondary nameserver ip>
2. Setup your /etc/nsswitch.conf by copying the /etc/nsswitch.dns to /etc/nsswitch.conf
After you make these changes, reboot the box and try pinging www.google.com

No it doesn't. Sometimes it make a sound that it should when connecting but that is it. Never actually charges or syncs. And it is a brand new cord.

My iphone 4 is not working and I cant reset it from the computer either because it wont connect to it I need help!!!
1. I tried connecting it to itunes for a system reset and it didnt work.
2. The phone wont even turn on!!!If the phone wont turn on it sounds like it needs to be charged. Plug it into a charger and wait about 15 minutes and try turning it on while still charging. Have you tried holding in your home button with the on/off button held in? Hold them both together until the apple logo comes up and then release them. The screen will blink off an on while it is resetting. I still think this is a battery issue. Good luck~
