is it possible to connect laptop PC windows 7 to Officejet 6500 E709n if laptop does not have CD drive? LAptop is Lenova ThinkPad x201? Please provide instructions or link to them. Thanks.

Windows Internet Explorer 7 has a Favorites feature that Firefox does not have?
The feature which I will like to see in Firefox is the ability to type a first letter of the Bookmark that I want to get to in the listing.
In Windows Internet Explorer 7 favorites listing, I can easily reach the part of my favorites list by typing the first letter of that part of the list I wish to reach. Obviously this makes this easier than having to scroll down to the part of the list I want using Firefox Bookmarks.Cor-el:
I know you're trying to help, but your not being clear. I don't know what you are talking about. For example: How do I open the Bookmarks in the sidebar? Where is the sidebar? How do I get to the sidebar?
Look, let me be helpful to you in your efforts to help me and others who have this question. What you need to do is tell us step by step what to do. For example, say you were telling us how to open up the Firefox browser. Here's an example of proper instructions:
1. Press Start on your computer.
2. Look for the Firefox Icon in the left panel and click on it.
3. That will start the Firefox browser.
Look, that's a simple example which, I'm sure, everyone can relate to. What's important is that you see what I mean by giving proper instructions.
Remember Cor-el, some users do not have your level of understanding. So, you may have to assume you're talking to someone who is sort of brand new to this browser.

How to connect between th iphone 3 and ipad4 via Bluetooth ? (it does not work)
This is done in order to use the 3G via the iphone.
If your carrier doesn't support it then there probably isn't much that you can do about it (if you want to stay with your current carrier). You can get mifi devices (effectively a mobile 3G router) which you can use with iPads, laptops etc, and they also use a sim card so you could consider getting one of those - I haven't got or used one so I can't comment on how good they are, and I don't know whether you have to go for a subscription with them or whether they can be used on a 'pay as you go' basis if for example you wouldn't be using it that much.

I previously had an iPhone 4 which has since been put away in a drawer now that I have an iPhone 5. I would like to give my iphone 4 to someone else to use but could not remember my passcode - have tried a few times (I believe I have one more try before it gets disabled - so I have stopped trying). Read somewhere that you can just restore your phone which works for me as I wanted to clear it anyway. When I connect my phone to itunes and clicked on restore it said update and restore which I clicked on and left it to do its work. However, a while later an error code popped up saying that it could not update or back up the phone as the phone was locked . Now my phone just has the itunes logo on it but when I connect the phone to the computer and I manually open itunes, my phone is not recognised.

My Ipod Classic died because it ran out of battery. Finally, today when I was able to plug it into my computer to
charge it, all my music was gone. It did not show up on the Itunes nor was it present on my Ipod. Which freaked
me out. I dont know what to do because I do have Itunes but all the music I had on my Ipod was from my
first computer, which I no longer have because it was stolen. However, on my Itunes it says my Ipod
has 14.27 GB used and 13.55 FREE. So I just want to know how to get my music back on to my Ipod
and that it shows up in Itunes again. I have a Windows Vista so if anyone knows instructions it would

My htc-phone provides internet facility through cable/blue-tooth to my windows notebook. My htc-phone does not have a wifi or hotspot facility. Can the same internet through blue-tooth work for ipad2?
No, the bluetooth profile in the iPad does not provide that
capacity. Can your netbook be a wifi transmitter? If yes,
you can connect to the internet via htc-phone and pass
the connection to the netbook which will connect via wifi
to iPad. I am not familiar with the hardware in netbooks nor
the capabilities of Windows, so what I am suggesting looks
good in theory but the reality may not allow it. Still worth

The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

The cyan portion of the printhead may be clogged. I would suggest running the diagnostics shown here. If three levels of cleaning of the printheads does not resolve the issue you may need a new printhead.

Connecting to Time Capsule via ethernet but my computer does not have an IP address
I'm connected to internet w/Airport TC.
I want to connect via ethernet for fast and stable backup. When I connect the ethernet cable what I see is "The cable for Ethernet is connected, but your computer does not have an IP address". I'm connecting to internet via wireless modem. TC is connected to that wireless modem via wired ethernet connection and functions as a router - I guess - so our Apple devices connect to the network.
I had disabled WiFi earlier, since I wanted to connect to TC via ethernet. I realized I somehow needed to have the connection re-enabled WiFi but change the connection order, so ethernet is at the top of the list.
It might have been some other things I did, like trying to imitate config samples I found on the net by typing 255.255.255.0 and 192.something.something.0...etc.
Not sure exactly what made it work, but eventually, I believe I managed to connect and transfer many gigs of data over to TC with ethernet but it still took soooooo long.

I would like to connect my Ipad 2 wirelessly via 3G with a wireless rooter. The Ipad does not have a slot for a card, so it will have to connect to the rooter via bluetooth. Is this possible? If so, where can I buy such a rooter? Many thanks! Ina
I'm not really understanding what you want. You mention all 3 types of connections: wireless, 3G and bluetooth, but I'm not clear on what you want to do. What the router is supposed to do, and why do you think it would need to connect via bluetooth?
I'm thinking you want to buy a Mifi type device that will allow you to connect to a cellular network and then connect the iPad to that device via the Wifi network the Mifi produces.

First, I've read the manual. This new Nano won't sync and won't charge. Itunes does recognize the device. When it's connected to a Windows PC, the battery indictor shows charged. When it's not connected, the indicator shows no charge. I've tried this on two PCS without success.
Maybe the Nano you got is defective. Have it replaced.
