Connection frustration - ready to make AEBS into doorstop
Here's my situation. I've been using an old UFO base station for a years. It's worked well. After upgrading to leopard, none of my leopard machines connected reliably. I thought maybe it was the base station, but I've read a lot about leopard having wireless issues. Yesterday it seemed to die altogether. I bought an AEBSn today. I used the out of the box configuration, I didn't try to tweak anything - and it worked for a few hours. I get home, and none of three leopard machines can connect wirelessly. If I ethernet in (like right now), it's fine, but my MBA doesn't even see the AEBSn and my wife's macbook sees it but endlessly can't connect. This is driving me nuts and really shaking my faith in apple. Anybody have any advice? I've tried setting it to N only, turned WPA on and off. Nothing seems to matter. I somehow doubt the AEBSn is broken, but who knows.
That is odd... It sounds like you have interference going on there. Do you live in a crowded neighborhood where there might be more devices using the same channel? Maybe one of them is overpowering your signal. The first thing that I would do is go in and change the channel of the router to see if that works.

Itunes could not connect to itunes store. The network connection timed out. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, and try again.Have you disabled any firewall and security/antivirus programs? Can't make entries into Roboform Lite 2.1?
I have loaded and reloaded RFL (and have disabled KeeFox), but I still am not able to make any entries. For example, when clicking on the Identity icon, the tooltip says I should "set an active identity," but there is no dropdown into which information can be entered. Furthermore, when typing into a blank field, I get two, not one as usual, vertical cursor lines that follow the typing. When RFL is disabled, this doubling goes away. To tell you the truth, I'd be happy (I think for the time being) with KeeFox and form filler. I did dl Autofill, but it seems to be rather complicated in its setup.

Have found out how to make entries into RFL: Download Roboform, make entries, and the RFL will pick up those entries. So now my self-debate is to continue with the combo of Keefox+Autofill which is working well, or go over to RF+RFL?This will fix your google toolbar and it works with firefox 7 or 8 or any of them, even if you can't sign in it will still have spell check and all the other stuff. Everytime I try to access the itTunes Store, this is the message I receive:

Can Anyone help with this message which occurs when I am trying to update my iMatch, it says "gathering information about your library" & then after a few mins when the progress band gets almost to the end, I get the message "we could not complete your itunes store request. Support has told me that its a problem with my connection, but I disagree, how come I can download countless songs from iTunes without ever getting this message, I think they are bullsh***g me to get rid of me.

I did absoultely nothing different yesterday to make it start working, I had previously disabled all my antivirus, firewall, anti tracker etc etc & it didnt sort it.
The only thing that happened yesterday was my laptop went dead flat & I had to a reboot (dont choose System Resume, which I normally do) I chose the other option in error & had to wait nearly an hour whilst my PC "repaired files etc" & it also downloaded a load of updates (had that message "dont power off, as updates are in progress")
I really dont know if that sorted the issue or Apple fixed the bug yesterday but its working.

I am having similar issues except that the store starts to load, then stops, then I only get iTunes Store in gray letters on a white screen. I can access playlist and the other stuff. Like flamesgirl, I contacted them and they just keep sending me links of stuff to try which I had already seen on the Apple website and nothing works. I posted the question on another forum I belong to and one responder said her husband was in an Apple store and asked about this problem as he was having the same issue. They said an update would be coming out soon as they were aware of the problem. Who knows.

I cant find my purchased ringtones on my itunes account? Anybody know how to find this? It's not popping up under Music in my purchased history. It is soooo frustrating because they make it so hard to find anything ringtone related on the itunes store!!!
