Have you check your access point settings? You may need to setup your access points again. Also check the internet settings in the browser to make sure it is pointing towards a working access point.

when i try to download a gain using the nokia.com bit in applications: games i can get on line and browse thro some games but when i try to download them it always comes up secure connection not available. i only want sudoku or something similar nothing complicated.

you must change the resolution to 640x480 or smaller to take advantage of image sequence.  at it's highest setting of 640x480, you only get three images in sequence.  at the smallest, 160x120, you get six images in sequence, the sequences of images is placed in a folder in your image gallery.

  • "connection not available error code - 4161" what...

    Hi
I have been trying to upload my workouts to Nokia traker but when I start the application I get the following "connection not available error code - 4161" What does this mean and how do I sort it
    Thanks

I did a comparison, and your connection string is different
than mine. Mine does not show any password/userid entries, but
perhaps that's the difference between using SQL and SQL Express.
(I'm using SQL.) I am, of course, assuming that you have actual
    values for "servername," "database," etc.
Given that you can't get in from RSC Explorer, it would seem
that either you are not using the same userid/password as the one
you set up for the administrator when you created the DB, or else
there's something wrong with the DB itself.
Try creating a test DB. Be careful to specify the same
administrator name and password as the login you use to get on the
RSC server. After you've created the test DB, open it up from RSC
Explorer. If you can do this successfully, then everything ought to
be working OK. From that point, I'd start over and create a new DB,
and upload to that one. (In fact, I've actually gone through
    exactly that total exercise before.

  • N80 IE always gives "Connection not available"

    Hello!
    I have a Nokia N80 IE with latest software (V 5.0719.0.2).
I used to be always able connect to the internet with it through GPRS and WLAN. I have the browser settings set to "Always ask" for "Access point" settings.
These days, something went wrong with my mobile; each time I start the browser and request a page, I get "Connection to server needed. Connect?", and as soon as I press yes, I get "Connecting" and then instantaneously, I get "Connection not available" as if the device never bothered to do a thing. it doesn't give me a GPRS connection nor an option to find WLAN networks.
I have Gmail applicaiton installed, and when this problem started, the Gmail application also has the same behaviour when connection to the internet
    PLZZ HELP!

delete the access points, & redo what you did before in establizing connections! other access points most likely are interffering, using the same channel.

  • "connection not available" message on E71

My Nokia E71 stopped connecting to the internet on 5th of this month and talks have been on with my operator. My phone is able to connect to the internet using another service. I just thought of resetting the phone with a hope that everything can work fine. After I restored the phone, I am getting a message “connection not available”. I have the settings from the operator and I saved them. But still when I try to connect to the internet it’s giving the same message “connection not available”. What could be the fault and what can I do to it? Thank you.

Frankly to say, i do not have much knowledge on the stuff relating to the phone. But, will provide the information what all i can basing on your questions.
My phone is approximately 6 months old.
I am on the firmware 500.21.009
Whenever i open my browser it asks me how i want to connect to the internet. There are three access points. So, may be there is no default access point set.
    My carrier is vodafone.
I have never used wi-fi on my mobile.
Data plan is activated on my mobile.
    Thank you.

  • N97 Locked or unlocked? msg "connection not availa...

I have just purchased a N97. Sold as "Unlocked" but when I put in my sim card and try to use the phone the message "Connection not available" appears. I have contacted the seller and they assure me the phone is unlocked. Is there a way to find out if it is locked or am I doing something wrong? When my sim card is inserted, the phone shows the network tag when in service area but the "Connection not available" still appears. I have been advised to "Cold start" which I have done a couple of times but still no good.

Calling your vendor in Sydney is likely the best and only way to go. Most of us buy an iPhone and then use it in the country where we bought it. Buying one in Australia and taking it to Thailand to use is unusual to put it mildly. Few if any will have relevant experience.
    Good luck to you
    Phil

  • Each time i order a book, it says "network connection not available". Any tips to troubleshoot?

Each time I try to order a book, it says "network connection not available". Any tips to troubleshoot?

As the error message says, you computer cannot connect to the network.
It is difficult for us to give advice since we do not know your network setup. Try the network diagnostics utility:
         Open System Preferences -> Network ;
At the bottom of the window is a button labelled "Assist me", press it, then in the drop down panel press "Diagnostics" and inspect your network status.

  • Your workout data could not be sent...an Internet connection not available

(Also posted on the nikeplus forum: http://forums.nike.com/message.jspa?messageID=238734#238734)
I am trying to sync my workout data for the first time on iTunes....so far unsuccessfully.
I have just one workout in my latest workouts folder.
When trying to sync the iPod I get the following message:
"Your workout data could not be sent to nikeplus.com because an Internet connection is not available.
Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
There is also no button labeled "Visit nikeplus.com." below the "Automatically send workout data to nikeplus.com" checkbox in the Nike + iPod tab.
I am running the latest version of iTunes (8.0.2.20) on Windows XP and the latest firmware for my 1st gen iPod Nano (1.3.1). I am using just the basic Nike+ sport kit.
There is definitely no problem with my Internet connection. I can connect to the iTunes store. I have disabled my firewall to see if that was getting in the way. Nothing changed. Still the same message.
Does anyone have a solution for this please?

I contacted Apple support at 1-800-275-2273 for technical assistance. They sent me to level 2 support - product specialist for Ipod Nano with Nike+. They have not seen this issue before and they will need to contact me back, I should have an answer back by Thursday.

  • Yahoo mail Internet connection not available

Whenever I attempt to sync my iPhone 3g, I get a message that says the Yahoo! contcats could not be synched because an internet connection is not available. I have been able to connect and download my contacts once, so I have them on my phone, but I'm assuming this is so when you add a contact on your iPhone or in your Yahoo account they sync to each other. Is there a workaround for this? I know others have had this problem.

I'm having the same problem. Just moved from an original Iphone to a 3G today. I had been syncing with Yahoo contacts fine with the original Iphone but get this error message now. I do have an internet connection, ie this happens when I am syncing through Itunes over broadband internet connnection. WIFI is also up and working on the Iphone. On the new 3G I am now also using Exchange. Does the use of Exchange mean that only Outlook contacts will sync?

  • Audio Books (aa files) not supported Nokia E63

I have purchased a Nokia E63 and now find it does not support aa* files which is the format Audio Books use Is there a known work around? . I understand that aa* files are encrypted to protect the authors royalties and cannot understand why Nokia want to block the files as they do not offer an alternative
    Nicdave

Ah, yes, Nokia Audiobook Player. I used it on my previous phone, the E61i. It worked quite well - as long as the files were not too long. I think 99 minutes was the magical limit, which oddly enough was also the limit on SE's first UIQ3 phones.
What's with Nokia and their poor support for audiobooks and podcasts? And why have they removed the resume support in their later phones? Was the code too complex to maintain? In the N95 you could mark an audio file in your library as a podcast and the media player would then remember last played position and automatically resume from there when playing the same file next time. This does not work in the E72.
I wonder if this is equally useless on their 5th edition phones.
In any case, since I listen more to audiobooks and podcasts than to music, buying a Nokia phone again wasn't very clever (*slapping forehead*). Guess which brand my next phone will be? It's a fruit and makes a very yummy pie...

  • "Mobile Data Not Available", Nokia 700

    Hey all,
I have a bare bones pay-as-you-go plan. All I get are free unlimited texts and free unlimited calls (within the country). I get no data and, frankly, I don't care for data. I do get annoyed that every so often while playing Angry Birds or using Nokia Maps or any of a number of other applications I will get the "Mobile Data Not Available" notice. How can I disable this notice? It is tiring and I KNOW I don't have Mobile Data. Duh! Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello TheRooster, the games are provided with some advertising option. This is Because the games are provided for free. If you buy the full version of the games then this won't occur.

  • DSN connection not available in connection manager

Hi -- I am having problems connecting to an ODBC data source with SSIS.
I am trying to connect to a mysql database.  The connection is set up in "Administrative Tools" as a System DSN, and I can sucessfully connect using "Test" from there.
But the connection is not shown as available in SSIS.
In Connection Manager, I create a new ADO.NET connection, choose New, ODBC data provider, but my system DSN connection is not in the dropdown (no ODBC connections are), and if I try to specify it with a connection string
    Dsn=ConnectionName;
    I get:
Test connection failed because of an error initalizing provider.  Error [IM002] [Microsoft] [ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified.
I have tried recreating it, creating a new data source with a new name, but none of the Dsn's come are seen by SSIS.
To make it more frustrating, it was working just days ago and I don't know what changed...
    Any help appreciated,
    Mike

The BIDS development environment is 32 bit. So it looks for the 32 bit providers at design time. However, when the package is run in BIDS, it will use the 64-bit providers, as long as the Use64BitRuntime property of the project is set to TRUE.
Outside of BIDS, which set of providers is used depends on which version of DTEXEC you run. There is a 32-bit version and 64-bit version - each will load the matching provider. Something else to be aware of - not all providers have 32- and 64-bit versions. The Jet providers (used for Excel and Access) only have 32-bit versions, for example.

It is not an issue with your phone but is an issue of your network provider.
If the phone can connect for 5 to 6 hours and stop, it is an issue with your network provider.
Also I recommend you to use opera mini and uc browser. UC browser will try to establish connection by repeated connection attempts.
    Hope this helps.
