Connection of One BI Dev with Two R/3 system

I am working on the BI project and i am having below problem/daubt.
we are having three system landscape for R/3 .i.e R/3 dev,R/3 qty,R/3 Prod.
In BI we are having two system landscape BI Dev and BI production.
R/3 Dev is connected to BI dev properly and we have already developed all the reports in the BI dev. We have used all standard BI contect comopenets and then migrate them into 7.0 (transfer rule, update rule, info source, data source).All queries are customized.
We are having very less amount of data in the R/3 dev , so we are getting less data in BI which is not sufficient for analysing.
So, we have create one more connection and connect our R/3 Quality with BI dev(R/3 dev and BI dev connection is still there).
Now, i want to pull the data from R/3 quality. I think i have to again install all the standard BI contect and migrate them for R/3 quality which is really big job.
Again, We have installed all standard BI content and migrate all 3.5 to 7.0.
is there any other way by which i can use my current modeling with new sources?

Hi,
The way that u said is a big task.
One suggestion with out mapping R/3 QTLY to BI DEV is.
Copy the Data from R/3 QLTY to R/3 Dev.So you will get sufficiant data for testing.
I hope this is one point that you can think and easy to implement also.

Is there a way to share one music library with two seperate icloud accounts? I have over 12,000 songs in my library and my son likes the same music, but recently his ipod touch is picking up the texts from my wife's and my phone? I was told the only way to stop this is by giving him his own icloud account which would mean he wouldn't have access to my music library. Any ideas?

He can still use your Apple ID for iTunes content, no issues. He just gets a separate ID for everything else.

One sales order with two bill to party at the document header

Hello to all
We have the following issue: create one sales order with two bill to party and only one payer. The reason is that the materials are paid with the same customer(only one account document) but we need to print two invoices one by each bill to party and each invoice printed with its own invoice number)
We are thinking in one development due to the key users won´t create different line items or create different sales order.
The process will be the following:
1-Create the sales order with one payer and two bill to party or a new bussiness partner(you can use only one bill to party in each customer)
2-Invoice the sales order. The system will create only one account document because there is only one payer but the system will create two printed documents with the invoice.
So if someone had the same requeriments, any help will be appreciated.

You intend to create one invoice (one payer) but 2 different document print layouts.
That should work. But, you have stated 'printed with its own invoice number'.... does this mean you need 2 distinct document numbers in the system? That will not be possible.
An alterantive is to create a Proforma invoice and a regular invoice and send it to the 2 parties involved.

I assume you will use one action at a time and depending upon certain condition you want to invoke the webservice and the corresponding action. If this is yes, then please check michaels reply in this thread:

There are several ways to conenct them. We need to know what it is you want to accomplish first. Do you want better Wi-Fi coverage on the second and third floors or do you want to stream music to the xpresses?

One controlling area with two company codes assigned with one CoA

I   am having one controlling area with two company codes assigned , i am using the same gl for two company codes as cost element , when i am positng the miro for vendor purpose it posted the error , to avoid the price difference purpose , i have given one cost center of first company code in OKB9 , and overcome the error , entries posted, when i am posting new entry for MIRO   in secod company codes with same cost element , price difference of that account should go to the other cost center which specifically created for second company code, in the OBK9 i have given cost center first company code   of the same GL account , now this is another new entry in the second company code with other cost center in the second company code since the price difference account should sit in the other cost center of second company code, how to over come this problem, pls help me

Hi,
First, remove the default cost center in the cost element. Then, for the system to derive the correct cost center for each company codes, define one cost center for each compny codes in OKB9 just like this:
Co Code   Cost Element   Cost Center
1000          1000000              A
2000          1000000              B
So during MIRO, the system will derive these values you maintain in OKB9.

If the printers connect using wireless only, the Time Capsule will support up to 50 connections.

One wireless keyboard with two computers?

This has already been asked probably but there is no specific area for Apple's new wireless keyboard (aluminum).. so here it goes:
I have a desk with a MAC MINI and a monitor on it. (currently wired keyboard, wired mouse)
Planning to buy the wireless keyboard.
I also have an additional spare monitor on my desk so it would be nice if I could just plug that into my MACBOOK and use the wireless keyboard from the Mini to wake it from sleep.
Somehow tell the keyboard (and mouse...) to control the other computer
One keyboard and one mouse on desk -- two computers. Can this be done?

I'm in the same boat with you on this one. I have to unpair it with one before it will pair with the other. Too much to fiddle with just to reduce clutter on the desk. I eagerly await someone's creative solution.

Hi, I have one PCI-GBIP-controller with multiple instruments installed. Now I want to use these instruments with two differents programs at the same time.
E.g.: program 1 uses GPIB0::1 and GPIB0::3
and program 2 uses GPIB0::4 and GPIB0::7
Is this possible??
When I have tried to do this, I always got timeout errors..

Hi,
You shouldn't have any problems accessing different devices from different programs using the same interface. I even used the two VIs to communicate with the same device. Although not the best approach, VISA didn't return any errors.

We're using MS-ADS LDAP as an UME data source. The client wishes to configure UME for one single ADS LDAP (domain) with two OU (NOT domains) such that:
    1. One OU has read only access
    2. Second OU has read/write access
Following is an illustration of the LDAP tree structure:

Note the single LDAP domain, multiple user and group paths with different access privileges.
Based on what I've read so far, this does not seem feasible as the datasource configuration file has to have unique datasource id and the private section allows only one tag for user path and group path.
I checked OSS, SDN but could only find information on configuring multiple domain/LDAP and not one LDAP domain but two OU/CN.
Kindly let me know if anyone has come across or done such a configuration.

You are right, access permissions to the OU are given to the service account used to access the directory from the portal.
The issue I have is not about granting permissions - its more about whether it is possible at all to configure UME for one single ADS LDAP (domain) containing two OU (NOT domains). I'd need to access the directory with two different service users having differen access privileges.
I don't see how it can be done, since the datasource id in the portal datasource configuration file has to be same as the domain and the private section allows only one tag for user path and group path.

Tried with Translate function, but it did not work out

Synching ONE MobileMe calendar with TWO iphones

I keep reading that it's possible to synch a MobileMe calendar with TWO iphones but cannot find out HOW to do so. I presume that SHARING a calendar is different from SYNCHRONISING a calendar. Sharing a calendar seems to me to be cumbersome in that it involves sending an invitation which then must be specifically dealt with by the recipient. SYNCHRONISING a calendar though presumably means updating a calendar entry automatically. It works with one iphone. How can it be made to work with two iphones? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

ANything you add will appear on the other phone and visa versa
my OG iPhone won't sync with my MobileME calendar. Is that because the OG phone can't be updated to ios4?
And if that's the problem is there any alternative for syncing the OG iPhone's calendar (which is now empty)?
