Connection refused 61 can't open SMTP stream (10.3.9)....

After doing a manual reconstruct on the cyrus mailboxes, the server refuses to send or receive mail. Attempting to send email via squirrelmail's web interface, I get the following error:
Connection refused 61 can't open SMTP stream
Nothing seems changed in either the postconf or squirrelmail's config file...anyone else experienced this problem?? No email is being received either....
Thanks,
Jim

  • Streaming notification connection reopen error: You must add at least one subscription to this connection before it can be opened.

    We are developing a long time running windows service which is monitoring an email account with EWS API 2.2. The connection interval is the maximum allowed value 30 minutes, and thus the connection is reopened inside the OnDisconnect event handler every
    30 minutes. After the service keeps on running for couple of days (1 day or 2 or more), the error happens:

    Thanks. Where could I possibly look for a firewall rule. I knowingly did not creat any. My system has internet coming to a Modem which then is connected to a wireless router. I have computers connecting to the router through cable as well as wireless. One of these computers has been our  mailserver using Mercury and Pegasus and that computer has a static IP address. The Mac Mini also has been assigned a different srtatic IP address. I have only set up user account, none of them an email account as I initially expect them to receive only internal mails. Is it necessary that I must set up an email id for each user while setting up the user account. My server id is server.local. So would the email id for local users be [email protected]?

  • BTFON connects but I can't open any web pages

    I'm away from the address where my home hub is so I've been trying to use BTFON. I can connect fine but I can't open the landing page or any other web pages due to DNS errors.
    I've checked that my DNS settings are set to automatic and it seem to be picking up the correct servers (192.168.22.22 and 192.168.22.23). I also get an IP address starting with 10. I've tried clearing my browsing history and disabling my firewall/anti virus software but still haven't succeeded.
    Anyone got any experience of this sort of issue?

    did you read the stickies at the top of the board which may help  http://community.bt.com/t5/BB-Out-About/BT-Wi-Fi-issues/td-p/697978

  • Can't open two streams from twitch fullscreen on different monitors at the same time, why not?

    When i try to open two streams each on one monitor ( in fullscreen), the one opened second just overlaps the existing one.

    Hi wilson1470,
    Only one window can be in fullscreen at a time. Is it possible to keep the second on in a tab of the same fullscreen window?
    This may be a nice alternative to what you are looking for: [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/monitor-master/]

  • Can't open audio stream

    I have the URL for an online radio, I can open it in Quicktime, but not in iTunes... it appears in the library but it doesn't do anything when clicked:
    http://streaming.metro951.com/metro

    Not sure if this is the same problem, but... I'm able to initiate an audio stream from the "Radio" in my iTunes options, but there's a lot of "rebuffering" going on. In the advanced tab, I've set buffering to large. This very rarely happened on my old G5, but on this new-to-me 2007 macbook, it's happening a lot more often. Any clues?

    Hi,
    Which version of Premiere Pro won't open? Do you see the splash screen? Which OS is installed on your computer? Have you tried to turn off your firewall? Sometimes that can cause this issue.

  • BI SDK in Web Dyn Pro- Can't open Connection

    hello,
    I am developing a Web DynPro component which should connect to a BW 3.5 via BI SDK - XMLA.
    As a start i just use the code from the "How to " document for Web DynPro without any changes.
    I could deploy the application and it should give me the list of the schemas. instead it returns "Can't open Connection" .
    I looked in the Web DynPro Content Administrator and found that the Reference "sap.com/com.sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.connector.xmla" has under the Status a red light; there are 2 other with green
    (sap.com/tcwddispwda, sap.com/tcwdcorecomp).
    Since red lights are never a good sign, i would like to know what is the reason for it and how can i fix it ?
    I assume there is a direct connection between the "Can't Open Connection" and the red light...
    Any useful help is appreciated and will be rewarded

    Hi,
       Have you made the configurations to determine the JNDI name of the BI XMLA connector?
       Just check if you have done these steps:
    1. Open Visual Administrator.Select
    <server node>
    ->Services
    ->JNDI Registry.
    On the Runtime tab, in the registry list, locate deployedAdapters
    ->SDK_XMLA
    ->shareable
    ->SDK_XMLA.
    This path, from the root to the SDK_XMLA leaf node, indicates the fully-qualified JNDI name of the BI XMLA Connector,which is:"deployedAdapters/SDK_XMLA/shareable/SDK_XMLA".
    2. Select the server node, and choose
    <server node>
    ->Services
    ->Connector Container.
    3. Locate and double-click the entry for the BI XMLA Connector,sap.com/com.sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.connector.xmla.BI_SDK_XMLA, to open the connector definition.
    4. Select Managed Connection Factory->Properties, and set
    the required connection properties as shown
    Property:Setting
    DataSource:default
    Statefulness:false
    Language:EN
    Password:(password)
    UserName:(username)
    URL:http://server:port/sap/bw/xml/soap/xmla
    In order to find out this URL,f or a BW system, start transaction SE37 and execute the function module RSBB_URL_PREFIX_GET.
    Use the following values for the import parameters of the function module:
    I_HANDLERCLASS = CL_RSR_MDX_SOAP_HANDLER
    I_PROTOCOL = HTTP
    I_MESSAGESERVER =
    The URL takes the following form: */sap/bw/xml/soap/xmla.
    5. Save the settings.
    Regards,
    Satyajit.

    Anyone an idea to fix this? I think it is just something minor, but I don't seem to find it. Maybe something involving junk-mail scanning ?
    Many many thanks for all your time.
    If there are any other questions, I'll try to answer them as soon as possible.

  • Connection Refused Exception.

    Hi! I have made a java server as an NT Service. This server and my client works fine when I run them from command prompt. But when I make the server as an NT service and then try to connect to it using this client, I get an exception saying connection refused. Can anyone help me with this, its urgent.
    thanks
    rahul

    This is the client program
    import java.net.*;
    public class Client {
    public static void main(String[] args)
    try
    Socket mySocket = new Socket("localhost", 4000);
    System.out.println("Connected");
    catch (Exception e)
    System.err.println("Exception: " + e);
    This is the Server Program
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.Date;
    class MyServer {
    int m_port;
    ServerSocket m_serverSocket;
    public static void main(String[] args)
    new MyServer(4000);
    public MyServer(int port)
    m_port=port;
    try {
    init();
    catch (Exception e)
    System.out.println("Caught : "+e);
    public void init() throws Exception
    m_serverSocket = new ServerSocket(m_port);
    while(true)
    Socket client = m_serverSocket.accept();
    Thread clientThread = new Thread(new ClientHandler(client));
    clientThread.start();
    public void close() throws Exception { m_serverSocket.close(); } }
    and this is the ClientHandler PRogram.
    import java.io.*;
    import java.net.*;
    import java.util.Date;
    class ClientHandler implements Runnable {
    Socket m_socket;
    public ClientHandler(Socket clientSocket) {
    m_socket=clientSocket; }
    public void run() {
    try {
    processRequests();
    m_socket.close();
    catch (Exception e) { System.out.println("Caught "+e); }
    public void processRequests() throws IOException {
    DataOutputStream dout= new DataOutputStream(m_socket.getOutputStream());
    dout.writeChars((new Date()).toString()+"\n"); } }
    ...The point is that they run perfectly on command prompt but not when i make this server as nt service.
    What could go Wrong ??
    thanks

    I have an internet connection but I can not open safari, my apps that require internet connection still work. When I launch safari it opens and closes very quickly. I have tried rebooting the Ipad several times, and have already cleared the history, cache and cookies. Please Help!!

    As Michael says - a reset will most probably fix this.
    Here are instructions on how to do this should you not have your manual handy:

  • Thunderbird 17.0.4 connection refused , other clients working ? password OK

    Hi,
    A bit odd, I have started getting my Tbird email connection refused yet can access email fine from iPhone/iPad and from alpine on my laptop using the same account details
    I deleted and recreated my account in Tbird, but same thing. I have very carefully re-entered my password same thing.
    I'm using Tbird 17.0.4 on Ubuntu. Its consistent with my password being wrong, yet it isn't.
    I'm a bit unsure, are some additional restrictions in place on Tbird versions. Mine is pretty much up to date with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

    Hi,
    We have no restrictions on T'Bird versions on Beehiveonline. There may be some on stbeehive but you would have to redirect your query to one of the internal forums on http://myforums.oracle.com/jive3/category.jspa?categoryID=735
