Hello. are your database Oracle? If yes the version are? Dependent on version you can use SAPDBA or Brtools, or both in one time.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/3e/5e123b4a4eca10e10000000a114084/content.htm
Try to check START>RUN>CMD-->BRTOOLS (before login in your OS under SIDadm user).
Try to check dev_w0 file in "work" directory.

  • Can't connect to console - connection refused

I have a relatively recent install of ovm - everything was working fine for about a month. Now, when I try to launch the console on oracle VM manager I a few windows pop up (including vnc viewer) and then they go away. I turned on java debugging and found that I'm getting a connection refused error. Any idea how this could happen or how to resolve it? I don't understand enough about what its trying to do to know where to begin my troubleshooting.
    Thanks!!

but when trying to connect GUI to the server, all I get is error (see below),
although I follow the instructions on how to specify server
(with SSID "NSP", Server ID = 00, and on "localhost"),
please help with this, and yes, I did install Microsoft Loopback adapter,
this is the the error message I'm getting:

    hi,
check the file HOSTS in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
    is there an entry like

  • After portal copy "connection refused" for SAP transactions

    Hi.
We made a system copy of Portal and executed all follow up tasks.
We already changed systems alias properties and tested connections.
All is working except SAP transactions functionality.
When we try to use, we always get message:
    patner '10.0.0.132:sapdp00' not reached.
    WSAECONNREFUSED: Connection refused.
Curious thing is: the system we are trying to reach use system number 10 (not 00).
We look for this parameter value in every part, on portal configuration, and all seems to be perfect.
We are without options, and we don't know what is missing/wrong.
May anyone help us to find this solution?
    Best regards.
    Vreeswijk

    Hi,
From portal on which backend system you are running transaction and Is portal able to reach that system ?
    Thanks

    Hi Chris / Dalma,
The issue is with the C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\services entries.
Do add your samps<SID> port/TCP entris.
    also the all relevant  entries.
    sapdp00  3200/tcp
    This should resolve the issue.
also Do verify your instance number and maintain the right Instance number in SAP GUI. Let us know if this helps.

  • Before I had Mavericks I was able to print over the network to a Windows PC. Now I receive the message, "connection refused." Any ideas?

Before I upgraded to Mavericks, I was able to print over the network to a printer attached to a Windows PC. Now, I receive the message, "connection refused." any ideas as to why this may be and what I can do about it would be appreciated.

I had reconfigured all of the settings the same as in the previous OS X. The only thing I can think of that may be causing this is that the printer is an older Canon Pixma iP4300 and the Canon site doesn't have a driver for the new OS X. The Canon site said that the new OS X may supply the driver. Is there any one with the same experience as mine?

  • EP6 / SAP 4.6B IDES connection and usage?

Hi,  I have recently installed SAP R/3 4.6B IDES and just wondering what development I can do using EP6 SP9 sneak preview with SAP IDES?
Can anyone please let me know how to create system landscape  for SAP IDES in EP6 portal?  I'm currently using the default user DDIC, how can is create a client copy of DDIC as a different user?
I assume SAP IDES is very similiar to the SAP R/3 realtime systems, so please let me know from your experience what all developments I can do using EP6 with SAP IDES?
    Thanks
    Siva

Hi Raj, thanks for your reply.  I think the development you have mentioned is more of a R/3 developement, if I'm not wrong.  I'm new to SAP EP6 Portal development and I'm using EP6 sneak preview SP9, and also doing some development in EP5.
Your example says based on R/3 user profile, we can map it to EP?  Could you please tell me if ESS and MSS packages are installed with SAP R/3 IDES installation?
I'm interested in more of retrieving data from IDES and displaying it in EP using JCo, SAP Connector architecture, BAPI calls, SAP Transaction iView, ESS, MSS and any more development?  Any help url I appreciate.
    Thanks
    Siva

  • SOAP: Connection refused: Issue

    Hi Guru's ,
We are facing trouble in executing outbound scenarios using SOAP channel.
All the messages are getting processed fine in SXMB_MONI but in comm channel monitoring we are getting below mention message

"SOAP: call failed: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect"
Inbound is working fine for this scenario its just for outbound its not working.
This issue is for all the outbound interfaces using SOAP Communication Channel.
This is issue is in our new production server having clusters (2 nodes).
The same interface works fine in QA and Dev.
Any idea's what could be the issue.
    Cheers !
    PI Rocker

    Hi Volker,
We were using this option because we were facing issues in SOAP reciver system while reciving messages in QA and Dev .

    Thanks in advanced.

but i am not send to the client when i accept the client connection immediately ,It doesn't matter when you send to the client. The answer is still the same. You send to a client via the socket you accepted from that client. That's what it's for.
    for example :
first client_A connect to Server (port 2222) , than Client_B connect to Server (port 2222) , finally Client_C connect to Server (port 2222)You don't need to keep telling me the port number. If the ServerSocket is listening at port 2222 they will all connect via port 2222. They don't have any choice about that.
and all not close the connection, but if I want to send some msg to Client_B from Server, how can i send the msg to client_B ?Via the socket you accepted from client B. I've already answered that.
it's just like you said "you don't have to do anything about that. " ?Is that a question?
You don't seem to have much idea about client-server socket programming. Have you read the Custom Networking tutorial?

    Hello All,
There are some changes in out portal sever, but not related to SAP EP.

  • Error Integrating BOE via KM in Portal : Connection Refused

    Hi
I am following the steps outlined on http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/IntegrateBOEXI3.1intoaKMNavigationintoSAPEP+portal in order to integrate BOE content into the portal via KM iViews.
I create the repository, and it shows up in the KM Content area, but as soon as I click on it, I get the following error:
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
I check the default trace file from NWA, and there are a bunch of error messages, starting with this one:
com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceException: Invalid root sid. It must be an Integer representing the SI_ID on CMS.
I have used the default ID (23), which corresponds to the ID of the root folder in BOE. I have also tried using the ID of another folder, still with the same error message.
I have checked the security settings on the folder(s), and the user group Everyone has Full Access, so I don't think it is an access problem.
Any ideas on how I can get this working?
    Cheers,
    Andrew

    Hi Andrew
    Have you find a solution?

i can't figure why sap gui is trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 ???
and after a while it works without any modification... very strange no? but annoying!
if i do not use logon group and connect directly it works but it is not what i need to do.
    any idea?
    regards

    hello,
thanks but configuration of logon groups is very straightforward...
my logon group contains my two application servers.
what else do i have to check?
