Connection to License server failed

Hi,
En la B1 server i also install de B1 client, and i have a problem when i try to open B1 Client, the error say cant connect to License server, everything works, service up, port open...
I have a question, I install B1 with SQL server 2012 and recently the IT people install SQL Server R2 2008 in the same server, so i have 2 services running in the B1 server , SQLEXPRESS and MSSQLSERVER.
Could this be causing the problem?
Please help, I've tried everything.

If you would work SBO2004 you not install fireworld in the machine.
And you add permision in objects DCOM:
-SBOLicense

I am having the same problem on one of my development machine. I have installed DI Server and Server Tools on it.
The license manager is working fine.
But when I try to connect to the company object in a web application it just throws the same exception
Error:Receiver 100000001 Connection with license server failed.
To test the port 30000 i changed it to any thing like 1234 and it gave me message "Failed to connect to license server", changing it back to 30000 and connect brings in all the hardware/license keys etc.
Kindly help what you did in your case to get rid of this problem.
Experts you support in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Connection to License Server Failed after upgrade to PL45

Hi Experts,
My client is using SAP B1 SP01 PL39, Windows 2003 OS Server. I have recently upgraded the server to PL45 but after the upgrade, the workstations are encountering "Connection to License Server Failed" every time they log to the server.
Our workaround is to go to Server suite Manager> License Manager> settings> click 'set' and the message "The port is now updated....". After which, the workstations can now log to the server.
The problem is we cannot do this workaround everyday. I tried changing the server connection in the server suite manager to: IP no., server name or localhost but still to no avail.
A help from you guys would be very much appreciated.

As Van mentioned above,the issue may caused by the TAO NT Naming service.
Please check the status of TAO NT Naming service/License Manager
when the issue happens.And in case the error is really caused by
those services,please try to re-install the whole server tools.
Also,if the issue still persists,as another workaround we suggest you to use a simple
batch script to test the Status of the TAO NT naming service,
and restart it when the services was stopped.
Such a script can be launched with windows scheduled every several
minutes.

DTW - Connection with license server failed

I am trying to use the DTW after I upgraded from SBO2005 to SBO8.8 PL17
I have SBO8,8 server in machine A and SQL Server in machine B. Mi license server is in machine A. When I enter to DTW (88.0.17), it only type the SQL Server ip address. There is no place to type the license server IP address. when i log in , i get the next message
Connection Status (US)
Connection to IP ##.##.##.## (SQL) has failed
Error Code: -129
Connection with license server has failed
I can connect with SBO Client in the same machine. I checked that the it has a profesional and addon license the superuser used in the DTW. I can also enter with SQL management studio can enter in the same machine. What is missing ?

Connection license server failed

I installed SBO for client, when I login, it required input " IP address or server name for the license server ". I input, but error: license error : 10000001 connection with license server failed.
Pls help me ... What I have to do now.

That version these installing?, if the version is 2005, you need to put the port of the license server:
server:30000
If you install the server in other port you need to use this port.
When you install the server, What server name you used?, if you use localhost, all the clients try to connect to a license server in localhost and ask you for the server.

DMS-200 doesn't play uploaded videos: "Connection to video server failed"

Hello, everybody!
I have CISCO DMS-200 deployed. I have console and an http access, I can manage options, I can upload videos, but I can't play them in web-browser. The device was bought 6 months ago and deployment was done by 3rd party. But the video playing over browser didn't work ever.
There is no proxy between PC and DMS, I have all codecs installed on PC, I've checked FireFox, IE, Chrome...
When I try to start video playing, the following message appears: "Connection to video server failed". (See screenshot).
I have some ideas about the reasons.
First, may be I need an additional license for Player at DMS-200 side? Because in Digital Media Players section I have "This feature is not licensed".
(See screenshot).
Second, may be there are problems with File Hosting Locations? I have several error messages like "URL test failed" in the appropriate section (Please, see screenshots).
So, please, share you ideas about the issue! There is a few information about the problem, I can't find anything. Are there any ways to turn on debug at DMS-200 side?

Show and Share Connection to video server failed

I have an SNS server running version 5.2.3. Everything time I try to play a video I get an error stating Connection to video server failed. I am storing videos locally on the SNS server. I can't figure out why I am getting the error.

1- Yes this is could be from license issue.Can you check the license for your Cisco SNS?.
2- Can you also restart services of Cisco show and share "streaming server" from Cisco DMM as attached.
3-Can you check the pairing is ok.
4-Did you have MXE integration , after uploading the video , what is the status of job "completed or failes".
Note:I got same problem before when i changed my FQDN from name to other but i fixed .

        I AM FACING PROBLEM WHILE IMPORTING DATA TROUGH DTW.THE ERROR MESSAGE IS "CONNECTION TO LISENCE SERVER FAILED".

Connection to license service failed; license service address is not valid, or license service is stopped (or does not respond), ConnectToCompanyReturn = -131 in ConnectToCompany()
This is the error I received from an addon. It works running it on the server where the SAP license is but as soon as a SAP client starts and the addon tries to connect I receive the error but I don't understand there's no different about the SAP code given to connect an addon.
Here's the method in which it fails

I am having a problem accessing my Yahoo email account. It keeps saying, cannot get mail, the connection to the server failed. Then I put my email in settings and it works but this happens constantly. Anyone having this problem?

My Yahoo email asks me daily for my email password or says the connection to the server failed. Is anyone having this problem currently? I noticed old messages in chat mentioned the same problem. I get into my Yahoo email fine on my desktop computer for several weeks without re entering a password. But the IPad does not seem to be connecting daily with Yahoo without putting a password in again.

So, I didn't change anything and now it is working better. I still get the odd error though.
I have a feeling this has something to do with the SSL update Apple released and it was their server side.

It sounds like you're seeing an alert message when opening Mail on your iOS devices. Do you have multiple email accounts setup on the devices? I have been receiving the message ' Cannot get mail. The connection to the server failed' but I am connected to WIFI. I have also been receiving 'Cannot send mail, an error occurred while delivering this message.

Hmm, that's odd JeanEB. The error message referts to the connection to your email server not to cellular data or connection to wi-fi. Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Select your account and type in your password again. If this doesn't resolve it, delete/re-add the email account.
