Connection tone change to music during call transfer, how ?

Dear all,
I have a Unity express 6 with IVR license connects to Call Manager version 5,
and I have a AA script within the unity express 6 and works fine.
However, I want to change the connection tone to music.
For example:
Call in --> press 1 for sales, press 2 for support.
During call transfer user will hear do..do..do..
But I want Music instead of do..do..do..
Can I program on Cisco Unity Express Editor, and what step do I need ?
Can I change the ringback.wav file in call manager ?
Can I use other methond ?
Many thanks.

  • No audio during call transfer and

I am installing a new CUCM BE6000 ver 9.1.2 platform, with CUCM , Unity connection, and presence server.
I am configuring on Unity Connection server the System Call Handlers for basic IVR functions, with the following options:
    a) Option 2  ----> Directory handler
    b) Option 0 (or do nothing)  -----> Operator's DN 1100
    c) Option to dial party extension during call.
    We have 2 configuration problems:
    Problem1:
When you select option "2", "0" or dial the party extension the call is transfer with no problem BUT we got silence during this transfer (before user takes the call or the call goes to user's Voice Mail)......., no rings, no MoH, nothing. So we would like to know which parameter is missing that could prevent to hear rings' sound or the MoH until client takes the call or the call goes to VM.
    Problem2:
If you select option 0, the call is properly transfered to operator's DN 1100, but if the caller does NOTHING the call goes to operator's VM  instead to be transfer to DN 1100 ( DN 1100 never rings, the call goes to VM)
Here we need to know how we can set this System Call Handlers to transfer the call to DN 1100 when user does nothing.

  • I just updated my MacBook Pro late 2011 15" to Mountain Lion. Whenever I open an app like VLC,Forklift,GoogleEarth,Photo Booth my color tone changes into a colder color. How can i disable this?

    Hello,
Mountain Lion is great, but i have been facing some difficulties, first of all my apps were gone i had to reinstall all most all of them.
That is not the big problem, the problem is that whenever i open apps like photobooth, lightroom,  or vlc my color tone changes. This is used to happen when I opened really intense apps eg mafiaII or like GTASA. Is there any way to disable this?

try disabling it, take a took at these snaps from my phone. Might not be really clear but can give you an idea
    Hope this is clear,
    Thanks for the suppport

Since I upgraded to IOS8, iphone has changed the way it calls via car bluetooth.  Before (IOS8) once I hit 'call' it was transfer to car speakers and i would hear dial tone until answer.  Now, call will only transfer to speakers once call is answered.  This is very incovenient as I never know if my call is going through, and sometimes when call isn't answered immediately I have to look at my phone to cancel the call.  Is there a new setting I am missing?

Sometimes you turn off your Bluetooth and then back on and it doesn't reconnect with your phone unless you go into the menu. Either way doesn't help much if someone calls you while you're driving and you realize your iPhone is stuck on headphone input.

  • No volume during calls and music

I am unable to hear any volume at all during calls - both via the handset speaker and on speakerphone. I also can not hear music when played through the speakers. I have checked that the volume is turned up full. However, I am still able to hear alarms, ringtones and notification tones. I'm hoping that this is some sort of software issue. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Hi jb15, welcome to the community!
Did you check volumes under Settings > Sound & notification?
Also, if you press the volume up key, is the phone set to Silent, Priority or Sound?

  • Music on Hold and Call Transfer

Got a weird issue that popped up recently. When a user places a call on hold and then transfers the call to another Lync user, the caller will hear the ring back transfer tone but also hear the music on hold playing in the background. This just started recently
after a reboot of the front end. Anyone have any ideas on what can be causing this. Below is some information that can be helpful. Thanks.
-Trunk is configured with no refer support since our SIP provider's gateway does not support it.
-Music on hold is set globally for all users with a user policy. The music on hold file is the default Lync .wav file.
-This happens with calls coming in from the PSTN, internal Lync calls that are transferred to other Lync users, and calls that come into an RGS and are transferred.

    Hi,
Please update to the latest version for Lync server 2013 and Lync client 2013 on Microsoft Website and then try again:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/lync/dn146015
Please also try to disable Music on hold, then able Music on hold again and test again.
If the issue persists, you can use the Lync server logging tool to test the process of call transfer.
If Lync server 2013 not have Lync server logging tool, you can download Logging debugging tool in link below for troubleshooting.

  • Losing connection during call and get no reconnection for hours

Hi, I use my iphone4 (not iphone 4S) with ISO5 latest version. Since some weeks during calls I lose connection to provider and cannot reconnect to network. Restarting doen't help. After some hours the iphone get again connection not knowing what has happend. Losing connection happens while I'm on a fixed place (not travelling in a car or something similar) and making a call. It also happens at different places. Vodafone changed my SIM-card but it doen't help. I also backed-up and renewed the the iphone-software by using iTunes. The vodafone-support explained that with renewing the software a new software-patch will also be installed that should help. As you can imagine - I still have the problem! Who can help?
    Thanks for answering!

#1 Did the problem start occurring after any particular weather event?
    #2 What light turned/turns red?
#3 Do you have Voice service, and if so, do you have noise or static on the line while in a call that was never there before?
#4 Lastly, visit http://192.168.1.1/ and visit the System Status section of the ActionTec. Provide the Transceiver Statistics it shows.

I would like to transfer the music that is already on my iPod touch to a new computer.  At present, my iPod touch is not recognised on the new computer.
It doesn't quite work that way. Transfer your music from the old computer to the new one. Then, sync the iPod.

  • Sometimes when I am trying to make a call, I can't hear the connecting tone in my phone, but the other party's phone is ringing. It happens every now and then (not everytime), I wonder if you guys face this problem too.

sometimes when I try to make a call to someone, I can't hear the connecting tone im my phone, but the other party's phone is ringing.  I have to end the call again and make another attempt.  The connecting tone could only be heard after I made a redial.  I have checked with many friends on different telcos, and they told me they also face this kind of problems.  Can this problem be rectified?

I went back to the service provider twice and they reactivated my phone the first time and the second time the tech rebooted the phone and told me how to tell if it was on my end or the other person's end.  Of course it didn't happen at the store, but right after I left I called a family member (on my plan) and the phone did this problem. It can be frustrating.  The cell towers are strong in my area, so it can't be that.  My next stop is to an Apple store but I am waiting until after Christmas.  I can't deal with the shopping crowds!!!

  • Bluetooth connectivity and beeping during calls after lollipop update

After this update I have had problems with the bluetooth audio cutting out.  Also during calls a strange beeping sound can be heard every minute.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Couple of other ideas looking around on the web, try hardwired headphones and see if the problem does indeed go away (narrows it down to bluetooth only), if you are playing back from sd card try moving to phone to see if that solves it (some people have seen similar issues with failing micro sd cards).  You aren't by chance getting notifications when the drop outs happen?  It could be muting the audio to playback notification but not playing back the notification (just a thought). Try different apps for playback assuming you are listening to music.
BTW how do you like the Gear circle (other than the cutout issue)?

  • Change in music playback level during gameplay

    Hi,
I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.. when i'm playing my own music during gameplay and some effects happen in the game the music level goes to bottom and the sounds overwhelm the music. Is there a workaround to this... its rather annoying when you're listening music and when something happens in game and suddenly the music practically disappears... im using x-fi platinum. thanks

Do you have SVM turned on? If yes, turn that off.
    If not:
In Windows Vista and up, the OS' sound system lowers the overall volume if the mixed sound would be loud enough to cause distortion. Try lowering the music player's and the game's volume and instead crank up the master volume.

  • Lost connection during calling a stored procedure

    Hallo,
my webservice runs in a sql-exception
    --> java.sql.SQLException: Getrennte Verbindung
(lost connection). This is probably during handling the response (conerting oracle types in java types). How i can avoid that the connection will be lost?
    Thanks in advance,

Why are you using directly physical connection to DB ? Use connection object that you get while invoking:
    ds.getConnection();

  • Cannot adjust volume during calls on iPhone 6 (using EarPods)

I cannot adjust my volume on the iPhone 6 during the call on the EarPods. I can only adjust volume while the call is ringing or before a call, but once the person picks up, neither the phone's buttons or EarPods would adjust volume. It's once when I hang up and my music starts playing again, the music blasts my ear from the volume change I did (during the call).
The volume button works fine during calls when I don't use any earphones.
Is there a way to fix this?

    Good Afternoon lopakamac,
If you are having trouble hearing a conversation on your iPhone, try the following steps:
If you can't hear a person on a call or voicemail or if the sound quality is poor on iPhone - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203800
    Turn up the volume
While you're on a call, adjust the volume with the volume buttons:
Also while you're on a call, make sure that you can see the volume indicator on the screen when you press the volume buttons:
    Check the connections
If your iPhone is connected to a headset, you won't be able to hear through the iPhone receiver or using speakerphone. Follow these steps, testing after each.
Make sure that you don't have anything plugged in to the headphone jack or the dock connector.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth.
    Clear the receiver
The iPhone receiver won't work properly if it's blocked or dirty. Here's where the receiver is:
Follow these steps, testing after each:
Make sure nothing is blocking the receiver, such as a case or film.
If you have a new iPhone, remove the plastic film on the front and back of the device.
Check the receiver opening to see if it's blocked or dirty. If necessary, clean the receiver opening with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush.
While you're on a call, turn on speakerphone. If you still can't hear, then your network or reception could be the issue. Try calling again later or from a different location.
    Restart and update
Restart your iPhone and test again.
If there's still no sound or poor sound quality, update to the latest version of iOS.
