Connection Wizard pops up every time I log in to BPC 7 MS

Hello - every time I log in to BPC (Excel, Word, even the Admin console) I am prompted for the Connection Wizard, but only the 2nd step where I choose to use my Windows ID and password or use another login. I always choose Windows ID and password, but when we first installed I switched logins several times since I am an Administrator and needed to log in as the Sys Admin to make some Security changes (including changes to my own account). Does anyone know if there is a way I can skip this step now and have it just use my Windows ID and password every time?
We are running v. 7.0.115.03 on MS.
Shawn

Hi,
I have tried the suggested solutions found on the forum but I am also struggling to solve the same issue
1) 'Integrated Windows authentication' is ticked within IIS Osoft security authentication settings
2) SOX compliance is disabled within Server Manger Client options
3) But both 'Save password' and 'Use my microsoft Windows user id and password' are greyed out in Connection wizard
Background
a) I have restored a production v5 system into a v7.0 test environment and carried out the upgrade steps
b) Both production and test environments have the same settings as above but production does not suffer from the same problem
c) The domains and users in the test environment are not the same as the production environment so I added the new users into the restored app set and assigned the relevant security settings
d) The restored appset is generally working fine in v7.0 in test
Do you think this migration/upgrade has anything to do with the problems I'm having even though my settings are correct?
Any help would be appreciated
I am also unfamiliar with how changing registry settings will help as suggested by another member - would be grateful if someone could explain and provide steps.
Many thanks
Phil

  • How do I stop BlackBerry Blend popping up every time I log in to my coumputer

Your PC does, according to what OS you're on (you didn't say which).

Thanks for the help, turning off Blend on my phone worked. My computer booted much faster too. My operating system is MS 7 Professional. I looked for an on/off setting for Blend on my computer but could not find anything. I considered uninstalling Blend, but only had one BlackBerry icon and didn't want to uninstall all of BlackBerry software. Note: When I fisrt installed the BB upgrade, my phone and computer wouldn't Sync. I think the solution was turning on Blend then everything started working. Don't know if Blend is all that important for me because I don't think I'll use it much. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and help.

  • How to disable the message that pops up every time i connect my iphone "photos in the camera roll of iphone cannot be imported because the device is locked with a passcode"?

Wrongly posted in iPhoto forum, should probably be posted here instead.
I want to remove the message that pops up every time i connect my IPhone that says: "Photos in the Camera Roll of "Name" cannot be imported because the device is locked with a passcode.".
This computer is not one that I want to import photos to (or sync with the iPhone), so this message is just very annoying, and it pops up all the time. I cannot find a way to disable this message. It is constantly appearing. No application is launching, I have turned off the iPhoto launch in the Image Capture app as well as in iPhoto. Thanks in advance if anyone has any information about this.

Because your computer sees your phone, as it would see any digital camera, as long as you have photos in your camera role. Since you state you don't sync with this computer & have a passcode on your phone, that's why you get that message. The only way to prevent that message is either start syncing with this computer; remove the photos from your camera roll prior to connecting; or first turn off your passcode before you connect. Either that, or you live with it.
You shouldn't be storing photos in your camera roll anyway. iPhone camera roll is not designed for photo storage. You should be regularly importing them.

  • When i log on to thunderbird, the in box has the message, 'building summary file', this then takes ages to do . how do I stop it doing this every time I log on?

    Hello,
This problem has only started happening in the last few days. Every time i log on the get emails, the inbox has a message saying 'building summary file'. it then takes ages to do this. i have tried deleting most of the in box and compacting the file but it still continues.

Try restart the operating system in '''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe_mode safe mode with Networking]'''. This loads only the very basics needed to start your computer while enabling an Internet connection. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode Windows 8], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-7 Windows 7], [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=windows-vista Windows Vista], [http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true" Windows XP], [http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564 OSX]
; If safe mode for the operating system fixes the issue, there's other software in your computer that's causing problems. Possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as program updates.

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off.

  • How can I figure out what my password is and keep it unlocked?  Every time I do a system update, it requires the password and sends me into cyber trouble with the remember my keychain access, requiring it every time I log in.  A real hassle to be avoided

How can I find out what my password on the computer is?  I had to change it due to my teenagers helping themselves, and now every time there is a system update, I have to have the password, which I cannot remember or find.  It then wants it every time I log in and pops up Key Chain Access as well.  Very annoying.  I do not have the disc to reload it and fear I would loose everything on my computer as there is also trouble with the back up system.  Too many issues and not enough solutions.  Many thanks in advance!

I do not have the disc to reload
Why not?  You need your system dvds to troubleshoot & to reset/change passwords in view of your current OS listed in your  profile.
You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.
If you're not in the US, you may need to go through the regional Apple Store that serves your location to find the contact number. Here's a list of links to all of those - http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/intlstoreroutingpage.html Another resource:  International Support Phone #s.

When selecting passwords, make sure it's one that you will NEVER forget AND no one else can figure out.
Old school--- > Print it out & keep in a safe place.  A place that ONLY you know about AND never forget.
New school---> Get a password manager utility.  Highly recommend 1Password which is shareware.  Do a Google search for free password managers.

  • How can I get rid of the annoying prompt to save a password that comes up every time I log in somewhere?

Every time I log into anything, I get a prompt in a box in the upper portion of the screen asking if I'd like to remember the password. I don't want any passwords remembered. How can I prevent the "Save password" prompt from popping up?

As of the current version, I don't believe there is a way to tell the App Store app to ignore updates. You can send Apple feedback at http://www.apple.com/feedback/, but in short there is nothing you can do. As long as you don't try to update the app (either pressing the update button or update all), the app should continue to work fine with your data remaining intact. It has been a while since I've tried to update an app that isn't supported (last time was under iOS 3 or 4), so I can't comment about what would happen if you did try to update it. (My best guess is it will display an alert saying it is not compatible, and leave the previous version there, but not take away the 'update' in the APp Store app updates page).

  • Why do I have to keep entering my username and passord every time I log in??

Every time I log into my e mail I have to re enter my user name and password. There has to be a setting to prevent this. It onlu happens on this computer!!

Test after taking each of the following steps. Back up all data before making any changes.
    1. Make sure the network is on the preferred list by following these instructions. It's important to read the article carefully, as it's the starting point for any further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any of the steps, the problem may not be solved.
    2. Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly."
    3. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
    4. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
    5. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
    6. Repair permissions on the startup volume.
    7. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
    8. Reset the System Management Controller.
    9. Reset the PRAM.
    10. Reinstall OS X.

I don't recognize this pop up.  What are the options in the gear dropdown- right side of your image.
You can open a temporary guest account to see if the problem persist in this environment.  If no than it is your user account.
Try a safeboot and test to load only system apps no 3rd party.

Hi can some one help me. I have a iphone 4s and icloud pop up every time i put my password.

I have a problem in my Wi fi  I can't connect, sometime it stack off or on.

  • I´m having problems with my wifi an my new Macbook pro.  It doesn´t remember the network so every time I log on - I have to "join a network"

I´m having problems with my wifi an my new Macbook pro.  It doesn´t remember the network so every time I log on - I have to "join a network".  I have "ticked" the "remember password" box. I´m connecting to a wireless network on an regular Speedtouch router at home.   I´m new to Mackintosh.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
    1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
    System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
    1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
    1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
    System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
    2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
    Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

  • Message: "The database structure has been modified" every time I log to SAP

    Hello,
"The database structure has been modified. In order to resume this process, all open windows will be closed". Every time I log to one of my companies in SAP Business One this message appears.
I haven't installed any new addons and made no changes in database structure (and any other user hasn't done any changes), but this message appears always when I log to company for the first time (when I try to log on another user or log to another company there is no message). Can anyone help me with this problem?
