Connectiong more than one computer

would like to connect my laptop to internet thru cell phone hotspot then connect to  printer (D110A)  to print from.  My question is can I connect 2 cell phones and 2 different laptops to the printer at the same time ? I can do it with 1 wonder if I can connect 2 at the same time. Thanks

Hi,
You may switch from USB to wireless network connection to allow using the printer on different devices.
The document below provide the steps to install the printer on the network, then you may also print from the other PCs.
Printing from a cell phone is supported for some models, but that depands on your mobile device .
Say thanks by clicking the Kudos thumb up in the post.

  • Can I install photoshop cs5 on more than one computer, if "owned" by a different user?

I want to install my recently purchased photoshop cs5 on my macbook, as well as my imac. The only thing I worry about is that the macbook is in my name and the imac is technically in my dad's name, even though he only uses it to surf the web. The only reason he even bought the imac as opposed to anything else is so that I'd have a great place to edit photos. I really need it to be on both, will this work? Anyone have experience with this?

May I use the software on more than one computer at a time?
The activation process supports installation on two machines. The Adobe product license agreement allows the primary user to install the product on a primary computer and also on a home or laptop computer for his or her use, provided that the two copies are not used simultaneously. While the activation process supports installing and activating Adobe software on two machines, the usage of the product on the second computer is restricted to the user who licensed the software. Allowing others to use a second copy of the software violates the product license agreement.

  • Can I load my Itune on more than one computer?

Can I have ITunes installed on more than one computer, and sync with I-Phone and IPAD2?  How do I keep the files the same on both computers?

you can authorize up to five computers you control for your iTunes store account.
you can use home sharing to keep the libraries on them in sync.
by design, iPhone and iPad can sync with only one library at a time.
however, you could consider Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod.

  • Can't use the iPod on more than one computer!!!!!!!

Ok, This has got me so frustrated! We got an iPod and installed iTunes. We thought we had it figured out - we purchased music from iTunes, played it on the iPod and everything was great. Then plugged the iPod into my other computer to listen to our music and it won't freakin' play! says the computer is "Not Authorized" and suggests that by 'authorizing' the 2nd computer, it will overwrite the songs that are already on the iPod. This is NOT desirable. We've downloaded and installed iTunes onto the 2nd computer and used the same login account that we used on the first computer.
What gives!?!?! I thought this was supposed to be easy, but it's not! I was hoping for a quick and simple "plug it in and start listening to music." This is definately not quick and simple. Albeit, I'm new to this iPod craze, but this shouldn't be so difficult. I've poked around on the website and cannot seem to find an answer to this.
    HELP!!!!
    Thanks
oh btw, Is anyone else getting annoyed by Apple's rediculous attempt at monopolizing this market by forcing us to use thier own proprietary software?!?!

First of all, any computer that plays purchased content must be authorized. This can be accomplished by opening iTunes, then store>authorize computer. If you wish to use your iPod on more than one computer & not have your iPod content erased, you will have to have your iPod preferences set on "manually manage". See the following link.
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61675
Also, it's not only Apple that uses proprietary software. How about Zune players, & several others?

    Hi, China6450.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would recommend setting up Manually manage music.  This will only allow music to be synced from the computer to the iPod nano.  Here are some helpful articles that will walk you through the process.

    Thank you so much!

There are normally three options: License, buy or try. See image below.
Did you double click on the package in downloads to start the installation?

I use more than one computer to access my four business email accounts. When one computer is on (and mail is open) emails do not get through to the other computers. This is fine, but how do I make one of the other computers the dominant one?

I assume these are POP accounts and all computers are set to remove from Server after downloading.
So on the non dominant ones... Mail Preferences>Accounts, highlight an account, Advanced tab, uncheck remove from Server, just have the main dominant one remove from server.
    Or get/setup IMAP accounts.

  • Playing a track on more than one computer

    Hi all,
Does anyone know if it's possible to play an iTunes track on more than one computer (i.e., running iTunes) at a time? I have my main iTunes library downstairs, connected to an AirPort Express which is connected to my home surround system. While I'm playing a list through this setup, does anyone know if I can get another computer (Mac with iTunes 7.3)in my house to also be playing the tune at the same time (giving me the same music both upstairs and downstairs). I know I can play the track via a shared iTunes library (doing that now), but I want to have the track in synch as people move through the house. Any thoughts?
    Cheers,
    Bruce

  • How can I synchronize safely from more than one computer?

First, I have set up my iPod to work with two computers: my primary computer, which is my desktop at home. Later, I also "authorized" my laptop (as a secondary source) to also be able sync to my iPod.
My question is that when I go to synchronize some podcasts I just downloaded to my secondary computer (my laptop), I get the following prompt: "Are you sure you want to sync podcasts? All existing podcsts on the iPod '<my iPod's name>' will be replaced with podcasts from your iTunes library."
From this message, since my iPod is plugged into my laptop, I assume it's referring to my iTunes library on my laptop (which only has the few podcasts I just downloaded). And it sounds like it's going to delete the podcasts that are already on my iPod.
I definitely don't want it to "replace" the ones I already have sync'd from my home computer; +_I just want to add the ones I have downloaded to my laptop._+ How can I make it so I can safely add the new ones without disturbing those I already have sync'd and want to keep? I'm a bit confused about how syncing works when you have more than one computer to sync to the iPod.

You cannot do what you want.
The ipod touch can sync with ONE computer/library at a time.
When you sync to a different computer/library, the ipod touch will first delete the current itunes content form the iphone, then it will sync the content from the new computer.
This is the way it is designed.

  • Can you install logic express on more than one computer

can you install logic express on more than one computer ?

Be sure to read the End User Licensing Agreement for questions of this nature. You are allowed to install Logic on two computers that you own, for example an iMac and a MacBook Pro. You cannot, however, use the two computers at the same time if they are on the same network. You can use one computer as a Logic Node to shift some of the processing load (which you would likely do with an ethernet cable) but you don't need to have a full installation of Logic on the Node  machine, just the Logic Node installation. The idea of allowing two installations is so that you might take advantage of a portable  computer in the field for on-site recording then later transfer those files to a desktop studio set up for further editing.

  • File open on more than one computer at a time

I maintain a network of four Macs (Cube, G4 Tower, Mini, and G5 Tower) all running OS 10.4.11. Recently two people working on the network discovered that they both had a certain file open at the same time. In order to determine the extent of the problem, on each computer I created and kept open a TextEdit file. I then attempted to open each TextEdit file from the three computers on which the file was not stored. To my dismay I received no error or warning message of any sort. I was able to open all four files on all four computers at the same time!
Each of the computers has a single user, and each computer is logged into the other computers as the user on that computer (i.e., each guest is logged in as the host). I wonder if that might be the source of the trouble.
I never noticed any file being open on more than one computer at a time when all the computers were running 10.3.9, only after I upgraded to 10.4.
    Any ideas?

This is absolutely standard behavior and I don't expect this to change any time soon.
Let me try to explain based on a model of a file stored on Server1 and being accessed by Client1 and Client2:
    Here's what's happening:
Client1 connects to the server and opens the file for reading.
Client1 reads the file and closes it
Client2 connects to the server and opens the file for reading.
Client2 reads the file and closes it
Since Client1 closed the file there's nothing to indicate to Client2 that the document is in use anywhere else because, in fact, it isn't.
There's nothing on the server that knows whether Client1 opened the file to look at it, to copy it, to back it up to some other media or to actually edit it. It is only that last step that should prevent another client from opening the file.
If you think about it, that makes perfect sense. If you copy the file over the network to Client1 you do not want the server to think that Client1 has an exclusive hold on that file and to prevent Client2 from opening it.
The only time the file is in use is a) when the file is being read, and b) when the file is being saved. When it's just being viewed the client doesn't have an active hold on the file.
The actual fix here is for the application to set a flag that the file is in use and for the server to honor that flag. It's supported by the networking protocols but it's rarely implemented in applications except those that expect a multi-user setup.
