Connectivity Cable CA-53 to download photos from A...

I am finding it impossible to download photos from my A6230i phone to my PC via Cable CA-53.  Nokia Phone Browser in Nokia PC Suite does not show any photos in Gallery and yet the phone says there is no room left for any more shots.  Can anyone advise, please?

The easiest way is to get 'WiFi File Transfer' from the Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smarterdroid.wififiletransfer
It will give you a local web address to access the file system and download items using your browser (this is purely local).

  • Download photos from iphone

Preface: Probably a dumb question; but there is so much information available and I always start here. This is my most successful resouce.
Question: How do I download photos from my iphone to my Mac? I do not want to put them in the cloud and have them on all my devices. In fact I want to save them on the mac and then delete from my phone. I know it should be simple and fear I'm overcomplicating it.
    Is this do-able?

    Hi
    "Is this do-able?"
    Absolutely.
Connect the iPhone to your Mac with the provided cable. Launch iPhoto. The rest should be obvious?

  • Unable to download photos from Panasonic DMC-ZS19 to IPad

I have a first generation IPad and I am unable to download photos from my Panasonic DMC-ZS19.  I have tried the USB and the card reader but the IPad does not recognize either.  It was successful using the USB with my desktop but I am going on a trip and want to use the IPad to download to.  I am using the original Photo app.  Do I need to upgrade to another app?  Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have you tried a different card or card reader or USB port? Or is the camera directly connected with a cable?
Testing with a different card would check if there is an unreadable file on the card (video image) or if there is a general problem with reading files from that camera.

  • How do i download photos from my IPhone 4S to my PC

How do i download photos from my iPhone 4s to my PC?

Plug the USB cable into PC & iPhone. An autoplay will then show your phone as a connected device and ask what do you want to do. Either click on "import pictures and videos" or "Open device to view files". I use Open device to view files as I like to have control of what is downloaded. The rest is easy.

  • Can't download photos from my iPhone4 into computer

I don't know what is the problem? I can't download photos from my iPhone4 into computer. Because last week I could download it. Today I've got the error message "Microsoft Office Document Scanning does not support this type of device". How can I solve this problem and this problem is related to my iPhone or my computer?
    Thank you.

Photos should be downloaded using the scanner and camera wizard and not Office. That will copy pictures into your pictures folder in the My documents folder. This is one of the options that should pop up when you connect the USB cable to your Iphone.

  • I cannot download photos from my digital camera to Iphoto (version '09). I have been able to successfully do this up to 4 days ago but not yesterday. My camera/device is recognized in the Source List but photos won't download for me to import to library.

I cannot download photos from my digital camera (via a cable) to Iphoto (version '09). I have been able to do this successfully up til 4 days ago but not yesterday (Dec. 25th). My camera/device is recognized in the Source List, but when it tries to download the photos, all I get are the words "Loading Photos" in the area where the thumbnail pictures usually display. The little "gear" symbol next to the words but it just goes round and round. Nothing ever downloads, and instead of showing me how many pictures there are to import it just says "No photos". So therefore I cannot import the photos to my library since they won't even download.
I was getting an error message a few days ago that my Iphoto library was getting full, so I emptied my trash in both Iphoto and on my computer. I had this same problem back in October and emptying the trash and getting rid of some photos did help (can I really be using that much storage space for the pictures?). But it didn't help this time.
Any suggestions as to what to do to solve the problem? I would try taking the SD card out and inserting that into the slot on the computer to see if I could load pictures that way; but the last time I did that, they wouldn't load. Not sure if I lost pics from the disc or not.
    Thank you,
    Novice50

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

  • How can I download photos from my android to my (2011) mac

I have an iMac 12,1 running OS X 10.6.8, 4GB memory, processor 2.5 GHz and want to download photos from my G4 Android phone.  I can't find a slot that the mini memory card fits into, and have read that I can connect my phone to a USB port and download photos that way.  But the iMac doesn't seem to know that the phone is hooked up to the port.  Can you help me?  I am new to this older computer, which I purchased from a friend.  THANKS!!
    robisue

This is just the way I transfer photos on my phone to my computer.
I created an email account exclusively for this and sent the photos from my phone to the email account.
Then it was just a matter of logging into the email account from my computer and downloading the images.

  • HT5172 Glad to have USB capability on my new iMac.  Been in Mac world all of 2 days now.  Question - I downloaded photos from a Centron flash drive and am wondering if flash drives have to be ejected the same as on a PC?  Can't find how to do it.  Thanks.

Been in the iMac world now all of 2 days.  I'm glad to have USB capability.  I downloaded photos from a Centron flash drive and now need to remove the flash drive.  Do you eject flash drives on iMacs as we did on PC's?  Can't find an answer in the support area.  Thanks...

Yes. All external drives regardless of how they are connected must be ejected before they can be unplugged.

  • I downloaded photos from a camera and cannot delete the ones I want as it displays only move and slideshow options but no trashcan or delete options

I downloaded photos from digital camera and now I want to delete some but when I hit the photos icon it only brings up pics with the only options being move or slideshow no trashcan or delete options available

You should be able to delete photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing

  • Can I download photos from I pad2 to computer

Can I download photos from I-pad 2 to the computer?
Also, how I can check or change assuring on my camera at I pad 2? How many megapixel and what size of photo i'm getting?

For photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from email/websites then see this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
If you want to copy back photos that were originally synced from a computer then you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
The rear camera is listed as 720p, which I believe is 1280 x 720

  • Can I download photos from droid phone?

Can I download photos from a droid phone to iPad?

Depends. If you have the camera connection kit you can try importing the photos from your phone to your iPad. However, if your phone is like mine, it won't work. The camera connection kit needs a very specific naming protocol. For it to see files, they need to be in a folder named DCIM and have file names of exactly 8 characters.
What will probably be easier is for you to connect your phone to your computer, get the photos onto your computer and then import them into your ipad. Or perhaps text/mail them off your phone to a mail account you can access on your iPad.
Or if the photos are on a removable memory card, get that to your computer, pull the photos off that way and then use iTunes to sync them onto your iPad.

  • Downloading photos from fast UDMA Comp.flash to macbook/ipad

How can I Download photos from fast UDMA Comp.flash to mu macbook pro/ipad. The ipda comes with aSD reader accessory but not CF especially UDMA fast Cflash. Some UMA readers have firewire but my macbook does not have firewire and the IPAD does not even have usb 2.0. Help??

Photos copied to the iPad via the camera connection kit (either via the SD reader or the direct connection to the camera) are not amended in anyway - the photos are copied exactly to the iPad and can then be copied to your computer without any alterations i.e. they will be exactly the same as if you'd copied them from the camera/card direct to the computer (help on copying from the iPad to computer is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). Photos synced to the iPad from your computer via iTunes are 'optimised' as part of the transfer, but photos copied via the camera connection kit are not.
When/if you then copy the photos to your computer you have the choice whether to leave them on the iPad or whether to delete them, or you can delete them directly on the iPad.
You cannot connect an external drive to the iPad for copying photos to - there are some wifi enabled drives starting to come on to the market, but they are quite expensive, and I think (though I'm not entirely sure) that they only allow copying to the iPad.

  • Is there software that will let me download photos from a Sony Jalou F100i mobile phone?

Is there software available that will let me download photos from a Sony Jaou F100i mobile phone?  I have a USB cable.

An external memory card reader.  You can purchase one for as little as $5.
Contact Sony for software and/or read the user manual.  See if they have one for a Mac.

  • I am unable to download photos from iPhone 4, SD card and SLR camera to iPad 2 using apple accessories. It worked once and then never again. Any ideas ?

I am unable to download photos from my iphone4 , SD card , SLR camera to my ipad2 using apple accessories , please help , it has worked once and then never again.

    Plumchunks-
The only accessory I know of that can be used to transfer photos from a camera or SD card to the iPad, is the Apple Camera Connection Kit.  The kit consists of two adapters.  One has an SD card socket.  The other has a USB connector to connect directly to the camera.
I do not think you can transfer photos from the iPhone to the iPad unless you first transfer them to a computer.  If you then transfer the photos to an SD card, they must have eight character names plus suffix and be stored in a DCIM folder, just as if they came from a camera.
One thing you can try is to reboot the iPad.  Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow.  The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes.  Rebootting will not hurt anything and sometimes clears up mysterious problems.
