And again I thought it may fixed in version 8.1 but not FIXED. This making too much headache. I want to go back to 7.1.2, Please help me in this issue.

  • Real-time PID control and continuous buffered acquisition. Does it work together?

I use the "real-time PID control.vi" that acquires single AI point and generate single AO point in every "while loop" iteration to control a piezo actuator motion. Simultaneously I need to do (in another loop) a continuous buffered acquisition of another two AI channels (in the same rate as first AI channel).
    It does not work together.
Does anybody know how to fix it?
    Platform: LabVIEW 6.1
    Board: PCI-6024E

    Hi,
I would try to avoid the idea of using a separate loop since the PID
loop is a continuous acquisition and will require un-interrupted access
to the Analog DAQ system of the board. The last thing it needs is for
you to attempt to start other AI functions at the same time.
Configure your AI in the PID loop to read in multiple channels (Just add
some more channels to the Input Channels Control. Separate the data as
it comes out of the AI single Scan function using Index Array or other
Array functions into that needed for the PID and that needed for your
other data (the example is already doing this to make sure it only gets
1 channel of data into the PID). If you don't need to sample all your
channels of data all the time you can throw some data away as
    required.
Obviously your other channels are now arriving one sample at a time so
if you might need to build an array, insert into an array or use Auto
Index on the loop if you are data logging.

  • Connection Drops/Can't Find/When it does find, has connection timeout

I have a white 13" MacBook from fall 2006. The hard drive has been replaced once. I am studying abroad in Spain right now and right before I left, my MacBook would drop the Airport Internet Connection in my house - frequently. Sometimes it wouldn't be able to find my network, or even if it did it wouldn't connect using the WEP. It would just state "Connection Timeout". I know this wasn't a problem with our airport or internet connection because the other 7 computers in our house had absolutely no problem with their wireless.
When I arrived for study abroad in Spain my homestay offers wireless internet connection in the apartment. 60% of the time my MacBook cannot even find the internet for this very small apartment (there is no way it's out of range). Even when it does find it, it has never been able to connect to it. Again, connection timeout message appears. I often connect to the neighbor's unlocked internet and it connects right away with full bars. The problem with this is that it isn't consistent. It often cuts out and I have to reconnect to the internet. Within a three second span of time, and without moving - my MacBook can't find the internet that i was JUST connected to. I am often left without internet for hours upon end and I am getting to my wit's end with this problem. Again, I can connect just fine to any of the internets with my iPhone here, so I know it's not the internet connection and it must be my computer here as well as at home.
Has anyone else had this problem, and most importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? I can't exactly walk into a Mac store here because I don't speak enough Spanish to explain to them the problem but any advice would be greatly appreciated

So the basics are restart ( which it sounds like you have done) reset, and restore..beyond that you can do a reset of the network settings...have you tried these other things?

  • I have a dial up connection and I'm looking for a download accerator that will automatically start when the download(update) starts.

I have a dial up connection. When I get a program update that
may be 100M in size it can take a lot of time. I'm looking for a
download accelerator program that will automatically start in
this kind of situation. I know there are programs that if you
know the site and the name of the download you want, you put
this info in and the accelerator program works. But there is
no way that I can figure to put this info in when a program
tells me an update is available and then starts a 7hr download.

That's the size of Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe, which I started to download but figured there had to be more.
So, you're saying that once that downloads and you run it, there's nothing else to get online? I could run Firefox Setup 6.0.2.exe successfully while not connected to the Internet?

  • Ever since the large update my Apple TV has become completely inconsistent.  Unable to connect to WiFi or keep a connection when I get one. As well before the update it would connect really quickly, now even when it does connect it takes forever to do it.

A few weeks ago I was using my Apple TV ( gen 3) and it started to automaticall do an update. That was the really long one. Ever since then I have been having more trouble getting it to connect to my WiFi and stay connected.
I just did another update and nothing seems to have changed. Please don"t tell me it's interference or I need to "reboot" the system. I've done that so many times my cats know how to do it now!
I've tried everything that I can find online and in my users guide but nothing seems to be helping except unplugging it and starting over, every time I change shows. I'm ready to toss it out a window, any ideas? And no, it doesn't seem to qualify as the models that were being replaced.

I have been having the same issue and am now VERY upset because it works for about 5 minutes so I bought a movie(that you can only watch on AppleTV once you buy it) thinking it would work...but now it stopped again. I rebooted the system I even reset the thing with no luck. I got into the first 2 minutes of the movie and only have 24 hours left to watch it. At the moment I am not very satisfied with the AppleTV update and hope it is fixed and I get my 6.99$ back.

  • My ipad will not connect to wi-fi and when it does I keep getting bumped off. Why?

Can anyone tell me what is the reason for this and what I can do to fix the problem?

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.] It is absolutely/appsolutely safe!

  • I can't update my ipod. When I check for updates it says "can't connect to server"(despite internet connection being fine). Also, when I try and update software it starts then stops after 2 seconds

I can't update my Ipod. When I check for updates it says "can't connect to server" despite internet connection being fine. When I receive a software update message;I say install and it starts updating then stops after 2 seconds. Help! (It is a 3rd gen IPod touch(I think)). Presumably as a result of this, I have tried to put my library onto my gf's new iPod touch and it just charges it..doesn't download my library onto the touch).

    Update Server
    Try:
    - Powering off and then back on your router.
    - iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
    - Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
    Public DNS — Google Developers
    OpenDNS IP Addresses
    - For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
    - Try on another computer/network
    - Wait if it is an Apple problem

  • Netflix keeps buffering on my tv but not my ipad

Netflix keeps buffering when I use my imac but not ipad. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix the problem?

You'll need to wait until Netflix is enabled for the Apple TV in your location, I've heard that it may be the end of the year.

  • Constant Safari Connection Issues

I am having a lot of connection issues. It seems from reading here that others are having some of the same issues. I am running Leopard, just upgraded a few weeks ago. It didn't seem that the problems started right after the upgrade. I then added a back up drive for time machine. I have parallels installed as well.
The connection issues are not specific to Safari, although they do occur with Safari more than anything else. The errors I receive are "Not connected to the internet" or "server not found". This also occurs in Firefox and iTunes. I have checked my internet connection over and over and everything is fine. I can access all these same things with another computer.
In my diagnosis steps I have disconnected the router 'DLink DIR-655 and connected directly to my cable modem. Everything seemed to work fine using that method. However, I cannot keep it that way for obvious reasons. I have adjusted all the settings in my router, but nothing has helped.
I am currently in my XP shell withing Parallels using IE7 to write this. Interestingly I am having no connection issues within the Parallels shell.
Does anyone have any suggestions. At this point I am not sure what else to try.

    newslacker -
I have solved my problem. The problem started occuring after my upgrade to 10.5. The OS seems to be having trouble with the DNS cache. In network settings my routers IP address was set as the DNS. I added an additional DNS in advanced settings. I used my ISP's DNS to do this. Since I did it everything works great and the internet is back up to speed as well.
This is a Leopard issue that I fould in another thread. One thing led to another and it worked. I suggest you try the same.

  • Internet connectivity issues on Mac

I was wondering if there was any solution to an internet connectivity issue I'm having on a mac. It seemed to start when I purchased a new modem: an iPrimus AudioCodes MP252 wireless router. Basically the internet connection will either drop out or become stagnant/very slow. There have been no connection/speed issues on any Windows PC or laptop, but often when you try to use the internet on the mac it precipitates a network dropout, thus affecting the connection on Windows computers as well.
I'm trying to see if there's anything else that can be done besides taking it in to be serviced. ISP support hasn't been able to fix the issue, so perhaps it is some sort of compatibility issue between that particular modem and Apple Macs. Obviously the last resort is buying a new modem.
Modem: AudioCodes MP252 Series wireless router
Mac: Mac OS X Version 10.6.8

Hi, some Modems/Routers only like Windows PCs, also see if QoS is running on it giving most resources to PCs.
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712
    10.5, 10.6, 10.7 & 10.8…
System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
    10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x/10.8.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
    If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
(There may be better or faster DNS numbers in your area, but these should be a good test).
    Click OK.
If that doesn't work try changing channels on your Router.

  • Has anyone else noticed that: "The OS X Lion v10.7.3 Update includes Safari 5.1.3 and fixes that: Resolve a Wi-Fi connection issue when waking from sleep" didn't work?

I installed OS X Lion v10.7.3 because of the following claim.
The OS X Lion v10.7.3 Update includes Safari 5.1.3 and fixes that:
Resolve a Wi-Fi connection issue when waking from sleep
It continues to be a real pain having to reconnect to the network each time I wake my MacBook Air from sleep.
Does anyone have a suggestion for the resolution to this problem?

It seems the update fixed old problems for some and caused new problems for others. Sorry to hear you're in the latter group.
Here are some things to try.
    1. Go to System Preferences > Network, and click the gear icon under the network interfaces like so:
Whatever service order you have set, drag Wi-Fi either to the top (assuming it's not already there) or someplace else in the list. Click OK and then Apply. Sleep the system then wake it again to observe any changes.
    2. Click Wi-Fi in the above then click Advanced. Select all the networks your computer has ever joined and delete them with the "-" button. OK then Apply again. Select your network under the AirPort icon to re-join it. Sleep and wake again to see if that did anything.
    3. Try creating a new, temporary user account. Log in under that account to see if its behavior is any different.
You may have done all of these already but perhaps there is something you have not thought of. If nothing helps we may just have to wait a bit longer for Apple to release a fix.

  • I have just got an iMac 21" and it continuously freezes when it goes to sleep and also when the internet is trying to load, i have tried three different browsers but it still does it (safari, google chrome and firefox), does anyone know what is wrong?

I have just got an iMac 21" and it continuously freezes when it goes to sleep and also when the internet is trying to load, i have tried three different browsers but it still does it (safari, google chrome and firefox), does anyone know what is wrong?

To fix the freezing when sleeping problem go to System Preferences>Energy Saver and set 'Computer Sleep' to 'Never'. It seems there is a problem for some with Bluetooth failing to wake after sleep. This fixes it 100% for me and many others on here, until Apple issue a software update to address it.
Not sure what to suggest on the internet problem. I assume you are connected and receive and send emails OK.
Edit: To try to troubleshoot the internet issue maybe try turning the Firewall off: System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Firewall tab.
