Connectivity problem in SAP B1 8.8

Hi Experts,
I have taken database back up from 2007 b server.
I have installed SAP 8.8 server in another system with windows XP operating system and i restored the database backup.
Then i upgraded the database with PL 16 file.I installed client in the same system.
Now the server is accessible from same system but when i connect from other system clients internal error 1102 is occurring.
I have checked all the prerequisites.And there is not connectivity problem.
All .net frameworks are installed in my system up to 3.5 and in client systems.
And windows installer also.
even i checked firewall and gateway.
Microsoft SQl native client is also installed in both systems.
Please help me.

But i already stopped firewall in both server and client system.
And i have read one post in forums.that by setting ipcredentials in configure security of licence manager
we can solve the issue.
But my problem is that i am unable to set ipcredentials(instead of domain name i have given ip addtress).It is saying that "setting dbcredentails is failed. error -1102 ".
Is this the main cause.
And i am using SQL Server 2005 express edition.
Is there any difference between enterprise edition and express edition of sql server.
Please help me.

I had faced same problem, I used OLEDB Data-source, and it worked fine for me.
So, try to use OLEDB.

Connection problem between sap bw and EAI

I'd like to know why people who work on the part of my EAI project say there is a connection problem between eai and SAP BW. He explained that the connection is good at 12h AM and 16h PM the system was disconnected, he receive this error message:
System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The HTTP request is Unauthorized with customer authentication scheme 'Basic'. The authentication header received from the server was' Basic realm = "SAP NetWeaver Application Server [DB1/100].
I like to know if this is a problem with sap bw (misconfiguration of authorisations) or at the eai.

If you want to connect an external system to BW and extract data to BW and the BW system is the leading system.
You need a RFC server, or UD connect (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/uuid/943de6c3-0401-0010-b7a4-8b1af193f642) or you can use db connect or you can extract flat files.
All of these possibilies are decribed in the online help and in howto papers.

Can SAP GRC AC 5.3 connect without any problem with SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise?

I went to the PAM in the SAP Marketplace to see if SAP GRC AC 5.3 could connect to SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise but I can't see all the "Add-On Product Version for...", it's cut off.
Can SAP GRC AC 5.3 connect without any problem with SAP R/3 4.7 Enterprise?
If I can't is there any proof about it? I have to show it to a client.

GRC AC 5.3 works perfectly fine with SAP's R/3 4.6c, mySAP ERP 4.7 and ECC systems. In fact we have two 4.7 Enterprise systems connected to GRC AC 5.3 system.
You can get the details of supported SAP ERP systems under prerequisite section of Info page of GRC AC 5.3 , it can be accessed on marketplace at -
Downloads-->Installations and Upgrades - Entry by Application Group > SAP Solutions for Governance, Risk, and Compliance>SAP GRC Access Control>SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL>SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL 5.3
Just ensure to have proper BASIS and ABAP support pack level as mentioned in prerequisites.

Problem in SAP Console connection - yellow only

i change the password of SAPC11 at SQL> prompt, alter user sapc11 identified by 123xyz, when i come back and connect the SAP Console, its not work its become yellow. i think i got some authentication problem due to change of password in Oracle, is there any body help me out, how to set the password at the console again

It is not always safe to change sap schema id password via sql.As this password has to be stored in SAPUSER table where from the work process makes a SELECT against the SAPUSER table and reads the password of SAP<SCHEMA-ID>. Then the work process connects with username SAP<SCHEMA-ID> and the password retrieved from the table SAPUSER. In case of any deviation connection cannot be established and the work process stops with an error.This causes u the prob.
Try resetting the password again via brtools.
In the sap server run BRTOLS from cmd prompt then proceed as follows
Brtools----->Choose Additional Functions--->Choose Change Password of DB user
Enter choice 2(Database User/Password)
In user prompt give sapc11 and in password prompt put the password u had changed earlier ie abc123.
Then enter c (for continue) u will be prompted for the new password
When u put the new password it wont be displayed in the prompt just type
Complete the entire guided process.

Connection problem when importing SAP NW BW models into HANA developer ed

I have successfully installed "AS ABAP 7.4 SP5 incl. BW on SAP HANA SP7 [Developer Edition]" and connected with the SAP GUI and added the system into HANA Studio and Eclipse.
Being connected as SYSTEM in the modeleler (Eclipse & HS) I choose: File->Import->SAP HANA Content->SAP NetWeaver BW Model
After selecting 'Next' I enter the following:
Server name: A4H
Host name: abapci
Instance number: 00
Client number: 001

When testing the connection or pressing 'Next' in order to connect the following happens:

It seems to me as if the message is indicating that the 'hostname' is not abapci' which surprises me since on page 13 in the guide (

I need some detail solutions and suggests about below these problems:
Problem 1: SAP Management Console cannot start successfully
 Problem 1.1: Click on SAP Management Console, but yellow light continues for a long period of time.
 Problem 1.2: In DOS, startsap command cannot start SAP R/3.
 Problem 1.3: Oracle 9i database automatically shutdown by itself.
 Problem 1.4: There is very low disk storage left (say less than 50MB) in the hard disk where Oracle 9i database is installed in the server.
Problem 2: Problems in User Maintenance and Security of the SAP R/3 System
 Problem 2.1: Super user account password was lost (e.g. SAP* password was lost)
 Problem 2.2: Super users DDIC and SAP* were dropped in table usr02 in Oracle.
 Problem 2.3: Some users have been locked or deleted by an ABAP programmer who has been granted with almost superuser profiles. For example, an ABAP programmer has been granted a profile of SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW but the system administrator would like to restrict all programmers form using SU01, SU02, SM01, so that no programmers can maintain other user's accounts.
Problem 3: Problems in the configuration of client copy
 Problem 3.1: A copied client from the Client 000 cannot be customized.

2.1 If user account of the sap* is lost u can retrive by loging into os level as sidadm type this command
DELETE SAP<sid>.USR02 where BNAME='SAP*' AND MANDT=100
This 100 is the client in which u want to delete the sap*
after that restart the server and login as sap* with the default password as pass

RFC Receiver adpater Connection problem , Help us to solve ?

Content Server connection problems

SAP Content Server connection problems
I have installed the SAP Content Server on a Windows 2003 server. I connected to the Max DB on the remote server from Database Manager on my PC. I created repositories in R/3 in OAC0 and CSADMIN and saved documents to the Content Server. This all took a few hours from O/S install to saving a document in the repository, so I do understand the basics of the Content Server and Max DB.
Unfortunately we are not going to use Windows; we will be running this on UNIX. Therefore I'm trying it out on a Linux system while I wait for the AIX system to be available. It's been a long road but I have finally gotten the install to finish 'successfully' however I can't connect from R/3.
When I run the check http://10.XXX.YYY.ZZZ:1090/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo from the browser on the Linux host I get back a good status as shown below:

Listen 0.0.0.0:1090
In cs.conf I tried commenting out AdminSecurity & AdminSecurityGroup.
I also changed StorageDriver from SAPDBStorage to FSStorage.
I don't know if this is related or just another problem to tackle once I can get through this one. I was not able to add the new system to the Database Manager. I get the error "-4 could not connect to socket [10060]".

Hi Henk,
It looks like I am dumber than a rock. The firewall was indeed active on the Linux host. I turned it off and can now do the http connection test to the Content Server. (I awarded very helpful points.)
I still can't connect to the database with the Database Manager however the message has changed; it now says "-4 XSERVER might be inactive". I just turned off the firewall so I have a few things to try, like figure out how to start MaxDB without the DB Manager. I'll post my progress. Thanks Henk.

Now I have installed the Database Studion on my PC. No I'm getting this message when I try to connect to the host/database on the Linux system: "Cannot connect to host 10.XXX.XXX.XXX:7210 [Connection refused: connect], -813."
Does MaxDB need to be started to connect? Any idea how to start it manually? Thanks,

Ah, at long last. There's this tiny yet very important little program called x_server that SAP didn't include in the SAP Content Server install guide. This needs to be running in order for anything to connect. I'm sure most of you know about it but for the rest you can find it in:
/sapdb/programs/bin
Then type
./x_server start
I'm not sure what user it should run under but I started it as the sdb user.

Logon failed when trying to connect to a SAP BW related universe

Hi,
when I try to connect to my SAP BW related universe, I simply get the error message "Logon failed".
I have the SAP integration kit for BO. Furthermore I have set the connection appropriate to OSS note 1182409.
Nevertheless I get this error message.
The universe and the connection settings to SAP BW themselves are working correctly.
So e. g. I can set up a connection to my universe from the WebIntelligence tool.
Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

I do not get any error while using the Universe Designer, I get this error when trying to connect a SAP BW related universe in Crystal Reports. There is no problem at all with WebIntelligence by the way. It is possible to connect a SAP BW related universe in WebIntelligence.
I use BO XI 3.0 with Crystal Reports 2008 and the SAP Integrations Kit client components are installed on the client machine.
Nevertheless the BO Enterprise system is not configured with SAP Authentification, but with an own authentification.

How I see and change this server user ? As scenario is R/3>PI>MDM.
You need to look into your receiver Communication channel in Integration Directory (Integration Builder) where you have settings for defining MDM Server, Repository , Repository User and Password , Port Code of the Outbound MDM port etc.

There is no Server User ID but it is Repository User and Password along with other parameters in Communication channel.
Note: Make Sure that your MDM Import Server is also running.

FTP Server connection Problem

we trying to Configure the File to File Scenario.. and message is processing successfully in SXMB_MONI
but in the runtime workbech we have the error in communication channel.
Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: FTPEx: Login incorrect.
we cross checked the Login credentials and did Full cache refresh..
still facing same problem.

The user-id & password used in file channel should be same as it is in the ftp....may be there is some change (some case-issue)

SAPROUTER CONNECTION PROBLEM

I have a sap router which was working fine until our IT dept changed from an old firewall to a new one with new ip addresses, since then i havent been able to connect to the SAP OSS from my ERP systems and i can't connect to my servers using a remote connection. I have changed the gateway fro the sap router to see the new changes and have had the ports 3200 and 3900 open on the PUBLIC ip address. where couls be the problem with my connection

Please ensure you have correct entries (IP Address, syntax) in your 'saproute.ini' under %winnt% directory (or wherever you have this 'saproute.ini' file located) in your SAP system.
for example for below router entry:
Router
sapservX=/H/your-SAProuter-internal-IP-address/H/SAPServX-IP-address/H/
Example:
sapserv4=/H/200.10.10.24/H/204.79.199.2/H/
200.10.10.24 is my SAP routeru2019s IP address.
204.79.199.2 is SAPServ4u2019s IP address.
Also, ask SAP if they are able to connect to your Router atlest. If they are able to connect to your router then the problem is between your SAP systems and your router alone. Otherwise you need to cross verify the whole connectivity.

My client having Way bridge, After lorry coming That vehicle weight taken by a device and its directly prints as gross weight than after unloading it takes the tare weight of the lorry with key gate entry numberand again directly prints, with these prints my client desides the actual weight of the goods.
So now I need to connect this data to my costomized gateentry programe (Module pool)
that when ever the lorry come it should updata the data automaticaly update the data in my programe

So here i need at the time of Gate Entry through my programe it should update automaticaly the Accual Gross weight of goods for that we have Wave Bridge to weight the Vehcle with Goods Minus Emty vehcle Equals Actual gross weight of Goods.
We have a Device (MettelerTolredo 8142 PRO) to connect Wave Bridge and PC after instaletion of some software it ll transfer the data into PC.
SO here i need whenever the data updated in PC i want the the data automaticaly should come into gate entry ie no body could not change the actual data.
For this i need your suggetions that how can i link with & how it will know that data updated.

1. u have to connect sap to vb exe, yours might
be a weighbridge or weigh feeder thing, right?,
use the function module ws_execute to run the vb exe..
It might be storing the values in some text file or so...read from
that text file the return value using fm ws_read or so..
i have done a similar thing for a cement industry in a weighbridge case.

The solution is like, through the vb program you create a file and stores it in the local PC's desktop or in any folder in which the Weigh Bridge is connected and write a FTP program in SAP .Scheduled the program in BG so that it will fetch the file from the directory and send the data to SAP.
