Connector block powered by R Series and able to connect to BNC

Good Afternoon,
I recently purchased an NI PCI-7811R card in order to obtain the proper timing resolution our group needed to randomly fire an excimer laser based on two scattering inputs. I've been puting the FPGA program together and during my first trial run I noticed that the BNC 2090 connector block we've been using for all of our other DAQ operations wasn't powering on. When I bought the card I neglected to buy the connector block as well, figuring we could use the one we'd always used. Well, it turns out that was a mistake. Apparently the R-Series card doesn't power the 2090. Firstly, is there a way to configure the 2090 so that the R-Series card will power it (I don't think so given the pin conformation) and secondly, if that is not possible, is there a connector block that is able to be powered by the R-Series card that will accept BNC connections. While I'm thinking about it, if there isn't a BNC compatible connector can I simply trim the connection off the BNC cable and use the exposed wire for the spring board?

I'm looking at my options for the CA-1000 right now and I'm a little unclear about what exactly I would get with this interface. When I purchase the SCB-68, it comes in it's own metal housing and the 68pin adapter to connect it to the PCI-7811. I only need three BNC connections, when I look at the last part of Table 1 (pg three of the link) I see "2 included" alongside the BNC options. Does that mean that each panel has two BNC connections or that there are two already on the CA-1000 and I'd only need to purchase another set of two? Also, would I be able to use the SCB-68's 68 pin connector without any further modification? More specifically; I know that you can install the SCB-68 into the CA-1000, and then using its screw terminals interface it to the BNC connections, but is the cable connecting the SCB-68's 68pin connector to the rest of the SCB-68 long enough to reach the back of the SCB-68 so I can secure it or will I have to have a different cable? I'm rather new to this type of work so let me know if I'm totally off base or being unclear.

Macbook Pro retina have a network problem that I need to restart my computer before getting it's able to connect to internet

Macbook Pro Retina 15" 2012, Mountain Lion OS pre-installed.
Case 1:
It connects to WiFi home network and internet fine.
Put the machine to sleep.
Upon waking up, it can scan for my home network that it used to connect to, but either not able to connect, or even after it connects, it just can't let me access internet.
Restarting the machine can revive by getting it connects properly to internet.
Toggling the Bluetooth won't help here.
Case 2:
It connects to network using USB ethernet adapter.
Same case, everything works fine before sleep. After sleeping for some time, it's not able to connect to the internet any more unless I do a restart.
It's able to access local area network though, as I'm able to see some local network machines in my Finder window. Yes, I clicked on them and able to connect to their share folders. But just can't get through internet.
OS Problem? I'm not able to roll back to other OS, I swear I don't want to go through that painful process.
Hardware problem : WiFi card? Don't think so, because I can't get to internet even I immediately switch to USB ethernet adapter.
Hardware problem : USB ethernet? It works fine in other non-Mac machines.
There got to be something wrong in somewhere that it doesn't re-establish the connection to the internet, no matter what I do.
None of the functions in the network utility tool can help.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

C3-00 able to connect with Wi-Fi but not with GPRS

Firstly I should say that I searched a solution of my problem a lot, either in this site, or others.
My problem is that;
I can connect with Wi-Fi by using Opera(original one), Chat, Games, i.e. all. It is all OK.
Also I can connect with my GPRS by using Opera(still original one), Twitter and Facebook app(its own app), Mail app(its own app, connecting GMail and Hotmail, and able to connect their chat facilities like GTalk and MSN).
However;
I cannot connect OVI Store by GPRS, any application stored in Games.
I'm using GPRS heavily in order to use Wi-Fi so I cannot use some critical Apps like accounting or such whivh need connection.
Please help

You may be mixing up two entirely different Adobe products.
1. Adobe Flash Player. Needed to view web pages designed with Flash. Not needed to view PDF files. Not available for Android (not just Sony).
2. Adobe Reader. Reads PDF files. However, the Android can also read most PDF files without needing Adobe Reader.

On the connector block CB-68LP, there are few screw terminals. I am trying to find the maker and the part number of this screw terminal. Any help is much appreciated.

1. How are you connecting the 6024E to the 50 pin connector block? Any special 68 to 50 pin cable or adapter should have a pinout that comes with it. If you have an NI cable or adapter you should be able to look in that part's manual online at ni.com and find this pinout.
2. What specific 68-pin connector block are you using, is it an SCB-68? For an SCB-68 the pins on the connector block are mapped to the same pin on the 6024E or any E-Series and most M-Series boards. The pinout for the 6024E will be the pinout for the SCB-68.

How should Sensirion SHT71 be wired to SCB-68A connector block?

I just got a Sensirion SHT71 for humidity measurement. I am new to digital I/O field so I feel unclear about how to connect this sensor to the DAQ.
The DAQ I am using is PXI-6225 hooked up with a SCB-68A connector block.
And the sensor has 4 pins (1-SCK: Serial Clock, 2-VDD: Source Voltage, 3-GND, 4-DATA (bidirectional))

So I am wondering what are the corresponding connectors on SCB-68A to those pins of the sensor. I can see the GND goes to the D GND for sure and the VDD is supposed to be connected to +5V. And I am not sure to which two connectors SCK and DATA should connect...

I have been looking at your case the whole day, analizing the circuitry of your application.
From what i can tell from the Reference label of SCB-68A : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/$CXIV/ATTACH-AEEE-8ZRTL5/$FILE/S_Series.pdf and the user manual: http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/375865a.pdf and the datasheet of your sensor, I can see that the output is a current signal. there we must create a simple circuit so that the DAQ device can be able to read the values. From what I can see of the datasheet, the output is digital therefore we need a Digital input to read the measurements, therefore on page 4-9 and page 4-10 of the user manual you can see the circuitry used to read digital inputs of a sensor. therefore what we can try to do is connect the sensor output to a a resistor in order to see the output voltage across this resistor. Simple Ohm's Law V=RI. Therefore you can see wherethe DATA which will be the output pin will be connected to pin 11. As for the SCK it is only used to sync the sensor to the measurement device, therefore I would assume that pin 10 which corresponds to PFI 1/AI REF TRIG which will be the reference trigger will be used to sync both of devices in case you need this configuration. VDD will be the source of energy for the sensor. i would suggest not to use the full 5V, I can recall seeing something like this on the web about not connecting the sensor to the full 5V. and GND is the reference voltage. For the pin out configuration please check the Figure 4-13. SCB-68A Circuit Diagram for Digital Input Attenuation on the user's manual.

I have a CB-68LP connector block, how do I know which DAQ board is connected to it?

I believe the board is of the E series, but don't know how to tell for sure.

You could also attach a known signal to the CB-68LP connector block and check to see which device is reading that signal. You could do this easily using Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). Within MAX you can perform test panels on each device by right-clicking on the device within devices and interfaces and selecting test panels. You could connect a known signal to a channel with the CB-68LP and perform a test panel on each device and find which device the connector block is attached to.

what connector to buy to transfer audio and video from macbook to tv? I read that if I buy the normal mini display port to hdmi converter that the audio will not transmit through my tv. I there a certain thing I need to buy to make this happen? I have a Macbook 13 inch Early 2008.

You can sync photos and videos to your iPad via your computer's iTunes.
To sync photos, connect and select your iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac), and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. You will need to sync all the photos that you want on the iPad together in one go as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
If the videos are films that you want to go into the Videos app then you first need to add them to your computer's iTunes library via File > Add To Library, and you can then use the Films/Movies tab to select and sync them

Setting series and episode of a TV show in iTunes and now the video won't play

I have an episode of a TV show in my iTunes library that plays just fine on my laptop and Apple TV. The moment I set the TV shows name, series and episode number (so that it is grouped with the rest of the series) the file will not play on laptop or Apple TV.
I'm usually ok on iTunes and all other TV shows I am adding I am able to set the tags without any problems.....it's just this one file.

How does the PCI-6229 DAQ-card communicate with CB-68LP connector block?

I want to do a very simple task which is to just turn on/off a LED. I am using LabVIEW 7.1 and I have a DAQ-card PCI-6229. The DAQ-card is then wired to a connector block CB-68LP.
Now my problem is to figure out how the connector block communicates with the DAQ-card?
In the file I attached there is a picture of connector block and the device pinouts from the DAQ-card. But how do I know which of pinouts triggers some connector on the connectorblock?
Which are digital outputs on the DAQ-card?
Where can I read about this?

The digital pins of the PCI-6229 are labelled as Px.y, where x is the port name while y is the channel name. For example, pin52 of the NI 6229 is P0.0; which is also port 0, channel 0 of the digital I/O of the DAQ card.
While "D GND", which are located at pin53, pin18, pin50, etc. are the negative terminal of all digital I/O of the DAQ cards.
Please advice if this helps.

If you are saying that you've forgotten the passcode to unlock the iPad then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode for your iTunes to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

I downloaded a TV series and when I try to play it, the screen is just black. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes as well.

I downloaded a TV series and all the episodes show "downloaded" and when I go to play them in iTunes on my laptop, the screen is black and it wont play. I made sure I have the latest version of iTunes. I have no problem playing them on my iPad. This is the first time this has happened...I have been able to play all my downloads on my PC in the past.

See if any of these things will get the videos app working again.
Quit the videos app completely.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try the videos app again.
If that doesn't work, reboot the iPad. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that fails, try this. Swipe to the right from your first home screen to get to the iPad Spotlight search. Type in the name of the movie in the field at the top. When the movie appears in the search - tap on it and it should start to play. Let it play for a minute or so - hit done - go back to videos app and see if all is OK.

Does anybody know how to stop emails that come from spamers selling direct TV to mortgages? I've blocked every feature i know and they still get thru. they never show the "to" email address it's always blank. It's not on my email server either. These

i've never owned a phone that i've had so much trouble from spammers. I've tried every trick i know and yet they still come in droves usually in the middle of the night but also a few during the day. They range from mortgages to home warranties to dating. I've blocked everything including my hotmail and microsoft live accounts from receiving mail. Still, they come. They are not coming to my regular PC and they never have a "to" email in the address field like my normal business emails do. Any information is appreciated before i get an I phone!
