Connector of SAP B1

Where can i find SAP B1 Connector in SAP Crystal Reports 2013 and how can i connect to it.

Hi Arun,
The SAP Business One connector is installed during the SAP Business One client installation. Therefore, it is best to install the CR designer first and then install the client. If you have already installed the client then there is a separate installer you can run which will add the SBO addin for Crystal which includes the SBO connector and the integration to save reports directly back in to SBO. By default, the installer can be found at:
\\<ServerName>\B1_SHR\Crystal\SAP Business One Crystal Report Integration Package.exe
where <ServerName> is the name or IP address of your server where the SBO server component has been installed. If installing on Server 2008 or 2012 then I recommend you right-click the executable and choose 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. After the install is complete, open the CR designer and you should see the SBO connector is available as an option when creating new reports.
Kind Regards,
Owen

  • Send IDOC from Business Connector to SAP faster

    Hi Developer!
    I need to send a very lot of IDOC converted from XML files from the Business Connector to SAP. The XML files are in different directories pro business partner, but they have a same type (ISU_MSCONS).
    My problem, that the import take a lot of time. Only in every 3 seconds (IDOC creation time) gets (or works up?) the SAP one IDOC. I start diferent services pro partner at the same time to import the IDOCs, but I couldnt short the 3 second work time in the SAP. So you can count it easy, that in 1 minute I can import 20, in 1 hour 1200, in 1 day 28800 IDOCs instead of 100.000.
    It is really parallel import? Have anybody any idea to make the import more faster. I know (asked the SAP Administrator) so, one BC - SAP connection (Program_ID) has more pools (= threads) in the SAP at the same time.
    Thanks any help,
    Charlie

    Hi Satish,
    You can achieve this requirement
    1)If your external system going to support web service cals then send IDoc from External system as a web service, in PI use sender side SOAP and receiver side IDoc receiver channel  to  send IDoc.
    or
    2)Use proxy program ,implement the same ALE logic in PI.
      or
    3)Copy the Extenal IDoc message in to file folder as XML,then use file adapter to pick up this message and send it SAP using IDoc.

  • Set up Business Connector within SAP ERP 2005

    Hello!
    Which SPRO-Activity is responsible for setting up Business Connector within SAP ERP 2005 (only ABAP-Stack)?
    What is the effort should be regarded for this issue?
    Thank you very much!
    regards

    Hi Tony,
    are you using gcj from Red Hat as Java? You can check this by
    rpm -qf `which java`
    This should point to either Sun JDK 1.4.2 for i386 and IA64 or IBM JDK 1.4.2 for x86_64

  • Delphi connector to SAP

    Hello,
    My apologies if this has been covered or is posted in the wrong place.
    I am working for a company who have a specialised asset management system specifically tailored for on and offshore oil and gas companies.  This program is written in Delphi and as some of our clients use SAP we are looking to create a connector to minimise data replication across both suites.  The real catch is I have been unable to determine as yet exactly what data we have in common for our SAP using clients yet.
    As a result I have been asked to create as flexible as possible a connector between SAP and our program.  I unfortunately have very little knowledge of SAP and have found a lot of different (and sometime contradictory) information so I am asking for advice on where to start.  From what I have found it appears that the best way to accomplish this would be using active-x controls since RFC (I think) is c only.  Does this sound correct?
    Cheers,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
    Lets start by getting you connected in Crystal Reports only to the SAP data sources. So I transferred your post to the SAP Integration kit forum. Search here fro more info and help.
    Once you get your reports working then in theory they should work in your application because I believe it's only a set database location API required. But because Delphi and the VCL is no longer supported, I believe Prism has a .NET component that CR can hook into, will be your only option.
    Thank you
    Don

  • CUP Connector type SAP EP LDAP

    Hi Experts,
           I noticed the connector type SAP EP LDAP the other day when setting up some new ABAP connectors.  Does anyone know what this type of connector is used for?  I couldn't find any documentation on it.

    Hi Christopher,
    this is what I got told - I'm not sure whether this made it into the doco yet:
    "  SAPEP  LDAP is used for LDAP Group provisioning. It will have 2 LDAP connectors mapped.  Internal and External.  In CUP you can import the  groups form these two ldaps and provision them using Access Request. "

  • Error in creating PCO Connector in SAP MII 14.0

    Hello,
    We have successfully installed SAP PCo 2.3 in one of the servers. This PCo Server is independent of the server on which MII Application is installed. So DCOM had to be done and it was achieved successfully.
    On PCo Server, in management console, we were successfully able to add Source System - PHD as shown below:
    After that I created an instance of Source system and kept it running.
    Now when I am trying to create a PCo Connector in MII 14.0, I am getting following error:
    So I have few questions about it:
    1) Am I missing any configuration step?
    2) Is it mandatory to setup Destination System in Management Console as MII. I am getting an error while configuring MII system as destination system. Error is as follow:
    3) Is it any per-requisite to Create a PCo Connector in MII?
    4) Is there anyway I can browse the tags from Management Console only without using MII just to check connection to PHD?
    Any help in this matter will be really helpful and will be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Soham

    Hi Rohit,
    I checked and found that PCo Mgmt service was not started. SO I started it and now I am able to get the XML when I open PCO Mgmt URL in the browser of PCo Server
    But,
    When my agent is running, I don't get Browse button enabled in "Subscription Items" tab.
    When I stop the agent instance, I can see Browse button enabled in "Subscription Items" tab. But when I click on browse, it gives me following error:
    Not sure what's wrong?

  • Issue with - Connector Framework  SAP EP 7.0

    HI
    Need assitance on usage of connector framework to connect to SAP R/3 using SSO.
    I am trying to call a BAPI from a jsp iView using sap connector framework.
    Release :  EP (SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) SPS 12).
    Steps I did so far :
    1. imported following jars in my project :
    a. activation.jar
    b. connector.jar
    c. GenericConnector.jar
    d. jaas.jar
    e. jta.jar
    f. portal_services_api_lib.jar
    2. declared import of class:
    <%@ page import = "com.sapportals.portal.ivs.cg.*" %>
    <%@ page import = "com.sapportals.connector.connection.IConnection" %>
    <%@ page import = "com.sapportals.connector.execution.structures.*" %>
    <%@ page import = "com.sapportals.connector.execution.functions.IInteraction" %>
    <%@ page import = "com.sapportals.connector.execution.functions.IInteractionSpec" %>
    3. appended portalapp.xml with :
      <application-config>
        <property name="SharingReference" value=",com.sap.portal.htmlb,com.sap.portal.pagebuilder,com.sap.portal.themes.lafservice,com.sap.portal.navigation.service,com.sap.portal.navigation.helperservice,com.sap.portal.license.runtime,com.sap.portal.common.commonservices,SAPJ2EE::library:com.sap.portal.common,com.sap.portal.ivs.connectorservice"/>
      </application-config>
    4. added following code :
         IConnectorGatewayService cgService = (IConnectorGatewayService) PortalRuntime.getRuntimeResources().getService(IConnectorGatewayService.KEY);
         IConnection connection = cgService.getConnection("ABC", request);
    <b>     IInteraction ix = connection.createInteractionEx();</b>
    5. Verfied connectivity of system alias ABC with connetion test from portal.
    When I test the repective iview after deployment it fails on the bold line with an error 'unable to deploy jsp'. I could verify that cgService and connection objects were initialized.
    Will appreciate expert comments/suggestions on the issue.
    Thanks and cheers,
    Amit.

    Hi,
    When you select that property, you get a value field in the bottom of the screen to enter the Cutom values.
    You can give the value there and click on the Set button.
    Also check the dbpool properties for this error code.

  • Integrating SAP Java Connector with SAP XI

    Hi XI experts
    We are about to integrate our SAP ERP2004 system with a new WMS system.  The vendors of the WMS system normally integrates with ERP directly through SAP Java Connector, but we would like to put SAP XI between the two systems so we have good way of monitoring the messages beeing sent.
    I would like to make a synchronous test scenario where we send a ARTMAS idoc from SAP to XI which sends it to the WMS. After WMS system receives the ARTMAS Idoc it sends an acknowledgement back to XI which passes it on to SAP.
    The integration would then look like this:
    SAP ERP <-> SAP XI <-> WMS (Jco)
    Is this scenario possible? And if so, how would you suggest to set it up?
    I was thinking of using the RFC adapter to connect to the Java Connector of WMS, but am not sure if this is the right approach or how it should be set up.
    Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
    Best Regards
    Chris

    I have made a setup like this:
    SAP <-> XI <-> WMS
    The Scenario is like this:
    SAP sends an ARTMAS03 idoc to XI which maps it directly to the same ARTMAS03 idoc structure (need a few changes in the future so thats why im not using IDOC tunnelling) then it uses a RFC receiver adapter to connect to our SAP gateway, where the WMS is registrered through JCO.
    When I first sent the idoc, i got a "RfcAFWException: failed to read funtionname from XML document: missing namespace declaration(2)" then after reading Q23 in note 730870, I used the RFCNormalizer xslt to change the namespace to a "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:fuctions" instead of the "urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages". The error is now "functiontemplate from repository was <null>".
    As far as i can see the error is because the metadata repository defined in the RFC adapter cant find the function module that normally would be in the root of a RFC-XML. But I dont know how I can send an Idoc through the rfc adapter to the gateway then. Anyone got some ideas?
    Thanks
    Chris
