Consider Adobe design software mergence to eliminate design workflow confusion

Hello! Recently, I start to use Adobe Indesign to design print material, then I found it is much superior than Adobe Illustrator from some aspects(such as functionality,typography,long document,dynamic and organic text style,table,crossmedia and etc.)except some AI features like advanced vector shape drawing tools, but both software similar at interface,commands and operation, so I wonder whether Adobe will consider and is it possible to merge Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to eliminate software collaborative operation gap and confusion, of course, other softwares like Adobe Photoshop and Fireworks, Adobe Incopy and Contribute. that's just my personal suggestion, I found I have to learn so many softwares to achieve a goal which cause me a heavy burden and great focus on it, thats it. I would rather so-called "bloated" but more integrated design software than several splited software seriously focusing on different kind of jobs. Let me clarify I am not saying merge InDesign and Photoshop, thats insane. I am talking about InDesign and Illustrator. As they both share some same codes, also similar at some same commands, interface and job role. For example, both of them can design name card, postcard, brochure, package. But in their own way. That means I have to remember and compare two kinds of ways to do one job. So I think if the Adobe Creative Team can well-manage and well-organize every module component of the software, thats not big problem at present computer hardware capability, I believe most people can handle it, just how much time does it cost to you. Thank you!
And Microsoft is doing more and more well in computer design software.
