Firefox doesn't update plugins like that. The worst you might see is a "nag" from Firefox after an update, about that plugin being outdated; and you can dismiss that "nag" by just closing it.

If you install a Windows emulator you could use the Windows version on the Mac. Otherwise you would have to buy a Mac version along with a Mac license thru some third party vendor because Adobe does not sell their older products. CS5 does not qualify for a platform swap since that is only supported for the most recent version of the CS series (now CS6).
You could upgrade CS5 to CS6 which Adobe does still sell.

I wanna know what makes a Mac so much better than a PC. I wanted to switch a long time ago, but Mac's are just so **** expensive! is it worth the money? i need some advice ASAP!

Hi, I have just switched from a PC to a Mac, and am really enjoying the experience. I have always wanted a mac, and have finally been able to afford one (kinda ). It depends on what you want to do with it, if its worth the money or not, and if you are willing to spend that bit extra to try something that you may not get on with (I have not had this problem). I have had Windows 7 installed through bootcamp on my mac, as there is the occasional program that i had a licence for on windows and not for mac e.g. Cubase 5, and i couldn't warrant spending the extra money on another licence when i had one for windows , and had a mate willing to put windows on my machine. However i hardly use the windows partition on my mac, as nearly all of the programs i need are on mac anyways.

Your question is a little bit vague, can you be more specific? Are you trying to find your iTunes library on the PC so you can move it to the Mac? Have you already moved it to the Mac? Can you see the music in iTunes on the Mac, but want to find the folder where iTunes puts the music files?

You probably need to move your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER from your PC to your MAC...

Hey guys, switched from pc to mac some months back, but ive kept syncing my iphone on my PC, now i want to sync it with my mac, because im abroad and want to put some new music on it...
im just insecure with my contacts, if i sync it with my mac, whats gonna happen with all my contacts?is there gonna be any problem? i even walked in to a local mac store here to ask, he couldnt insure me that they would still be there
after the switch to mac, can i save my contacts in my adress book on my mac book?
sorry if these might seem easy quesiton, but i live off my iphone during the days and loosing the contacts would be horribly

Before you sync your phone with the mac, make sure you've authorized the computer in itunes. Next put at least one contact in address book, it can be a fake contact, doesn't matter. Do the same thing with ical, if you have appointments you want to save. Next, connect your phone to itunes, cancel any popups that appear. Go up to file, transfer purchases made on this ipod to this computer. All of the purchased music/apps will then be transferred. Music you ripped on your own will not be transferred, you'll have to restore that from your backup. You can now sync, when the popup appears about merging contacts, click yes. You will not lose your contacts or appointments.

Considering switching from iPhone 4S but................

My late 50ish eyes like the larger screen of the Galaxy III. However, I am seeing many complaints about software and other technical issues that are rarely (at least in my case) are a part of the iPhone world. I am looking for the experiences, good and bad, of those that have switched from the iPhone to the Galaxy III

I am 69 and have owned my SIII now since August 2012 and not had an issue with my phone or my software...this is not to say you won't YMMV. I have read about many having trouble with their phones and the software when the update came to update the ICS to Jellybean. I did not experience any problems with the Jellybean update. I am OK with Jellybean but with I could go back to ICS not possible and keep the phone stock. I moved to the SIII from MOTO Droid Razr Maxx which was a good phone and I never had problems even when they updated it to ICS. The thing with the SIII is the battery life which I am only getting about 10 - 12 hours on a charge...the Droid Razr Maxx I got 2 days sometimes better out of which was really nice. You may want to consider the Note II as it has much better battery life than the SIII. I do read about owners having issues with them as well as some of the software on them. I have never owned an iphone and NEVER will...just as I have never owned an apple computer, I have always owned a windows pc. I am starting to move away from the pc to an android tablet since I don't really need a pc anymore. A tablet will suffice for what I do now. I do use a pc at work though for Office and AutoCAD. Switched from a PC to a Mac, now iPod updater won't update!

Anyone out there had a similar problem? I switched from a Sony Vaio PC which is what I used for my iPod Mini originally until I switched to a MacBook Pro. I was able to use Senuti softare to transfer my music from the Sony iTunes via the iPod then to the MacBook Pro iTunes. However, iPod updater refuses to update the iPod because of the Windows format originally used on the iPod. Restoring the iPod will only take it back to Windows format without any songs. How do I format the iPod for Mac from here on? I will NEVER go back to Windows! Thanks for anyone that can help.

If you use the Mac version of the software to restore your iPod, it will be formatted for your Mac. Download the latest software for your iPod, connect it, and run the updater. Choose Restore and once it's done you should be good to go.
