Consigment stock

Hello,
I have a question reagrding consignment in WM.
Let's assume we have a production order which has a raw material in it's BOM
The production order will be released and a TR will be generated, moving the stock from the warehouse towards a PSA.
The raw material in the production order consists of "own stock".
My warehouse just has consignment stock.
I would like to move the consignment stock with this TR into the PSA.
Then I would like to book from consignment into own stock.
Then I would like to do the backflush of my own stock.
Furthermore if there is own stock available in my warehouse, I would like to move at first the own stock and then the consignment stock towards the production.
Please be aware that I have no batch determination nor I can use the stock determination, because the IM part will be carried out as the very last step in the chain.

MM COnsigment stock: Unable to issue against reversation

dear all ,
we are trying to prototype a MM consigment stock process.
we have done the following
1. Purchase info record is created as consigment
2. PO is created. while creating the PO, the net price is coming as Zero.
3. Migo was possble with item category as K and movement type as 101
4. Created a reversation
5. finally tried to do a goods issue with special indicator as K
we are getting error PO has zero price.
we have tried all known settings and the net price in PO is still coming as zero.
kindly let us know where the issue could be . what setting need to be modified.

when the matl is in consignment sstores, it is not belongs to company. Vendor is the legal owner of the matls.
you have to transfer from consignment stores to company stock using 411-K mvt type( T-code= MB1B).
*you can not do two transactions at single shot( i.e. both transfer posting and issue a matl against Resevastion)*
In ur case upto 3rd step is OK.
then,
1.0 Transfer the matl to companys stock.
2.0 Create a reservation against a cost center.
3.0 issue a matl against ur reservation.
OR
**u can issue a matl directly to cost center using mvt 201-K in T- code= MB1A.**
*By that time if u see the matl do. u wil see that stock changes from 101(K-) to 201(K+), but can not issue against reservation*
It will solve ur problem.
If u have any doubts, plse revert back.

Consigment Stock problem

Hi guys,
I have a problem with MRKO for Consigment Stock.Some of the materias come with zero price(it is actually no price at all sap dont see it as a zero ) after i try to settle the consigment SAP automaticaly rejects these materials.
That error occurs to a random type of consigment materials that previously had no problems.
All the materials even one with the zero prices are done with moving type 261 K
Please Help

I'll check the info record but i doubt its from that because we have 20 EA a material 2 EA are with zero price and the other 18 are fine.This thing occurs every month with different materials.
Other thing i noticed is that all the documents with zero price materials are created by one and the same user.I suspect that user is not correctly moving the material.

MM consigment stock : how to do statistical GR

dear all
we are in the process of prototyping an MM consigment route. we have done the following
1. Info record created with Info type as consigment
2. PO created with Item category as K
3. GR with Movement type 101 done with Category K
the part is shown as Vendor stock in K ( In mmbe)
for selling the same in SD route, i want that stock to be visible.
thus i need to do the statatistic GR after step 3
does any one has a solution for statistical GR
or does any one has a better solution ?

the company does not want to take it into its stock, but still sell the goods.
that is the key requirement
i heard that there is an statistical GR option will show the stock details but no liablitity is generated.
once i sell the goods thru SD route. i shall do the MRKO to generate the accounts paybale.

MM Consigment stock : Need to sell without getting into stock

dear all
we have a unique problem.
we have done the following
1. created inforecord for vendor the type consigment
2. PO created with type K
3. GR done with 101 with Type K ( the stock is Vendor stock)
we need to sell that product without getting our stock
is this advisable.
is this possible.
as per our requirement, the stock should not be taken inside the plant.

you can sell directly from vendor consignment stock.
1) config the stock determination (MM -> Inv. Mgmnt -> stk detem). define you want to issue own stock first or consignment first.
2) maintain the material master with the stock determination group accordingly
3) create consignment info. record and price
create sales order, doing pick for outbound. system will use 601K movement type.
after PGI. it debit GR/IR a/c and credit COGS a/c
in this case, the material cost is not hitting your inventory a/c at all.

Post GI from IW41 consigment stock and batch determination

Hello gurus
Have looked around for a solution here, and have not found anything.
Our problem is that when we do GI from consignment stock in IW41 (mvt 261 W) we have to assign the batch. When doing standard GI it suggest the oldest batch. The process is first a serviceorder( IW31) and then an advance shipment notication, then a delivery which is done GI. When we then do confirmation of the order in IW41 and wants to do GI for the consignment stock no batch is suggested.
Is there any customizing I have missed? Or is this standard?

Thanks, but this is not the solution. The problem is in the service order and the confirmation on this. If we have regular stock that we do GI for, it uses FIFO and suggest the oldest batch. But if we have an item with consignmentstock then it does not suggest anything, even if the only exist one item in consignment stock.
Any other suggestions?

Transfer posting from consigment stock to subcotracting stock

Is there any way I can do ME2O form consignment stock or transfer consignment stock material to subcontracting stock. Which movement type should I have to use?

Consignment stock is NOT getting displayed in the MC.9 trnasaction.

Hi experts,
We have some vendor consignement stock for some of our materials.
In inventory trnasactions like MMBE, MB54 it is corrctly displayed.
In the structure S032 also the consigment stock was updated. But we are not able to see this Consignement stock in the transaction MC.9
Mc.9 is showing ZERO consignment stock.
What is the reason for this?
How to correct this?
Please help us in solving this.

Report on current stock and safety stock

Hi,
I want to have the report on current stock and safety stock.
In MC.9 it gives wrong safety stock. When I go to cross check the safety stock in material master & in MC.9 I see differences.

You can user tcode MC.9 or MC.5 to know valuated stock available at given plant. Stock lying in Returns (MB52) will not be a part of this report as it non-valuated stock.
The stock in the accounting view of the material master considers stock at plant level including stock in Transit (Intra & Inter plant stock trasnfers) & special stock like stock issued to vendor , consigment stock etc which is valuated at plant level.
whereas and stock in the plant stock view of the material master does not consider such special stocks hence there will always difference in both veiws.
For Physical stock as on particular date you can consider MB5B report with radio button "Storage location/Batch Stock" wherein you will get Quantity issued & Qunatity received in those SLOC along with Opening stock & Closing stock for the specified period.

MB54 - Consignment Stock.

Stock still shown as schedule to be delivered

Hi,
Our business process would require consignment process. But for certain cases, the stock seems not delivered although PGI have been done. The D.O still prompted in MD04 and the stock is hold as scheduled to be delivery.
Example:
During Consignment Fill up. The SO & D.O created. The PGI is done with mvt 631 for qty 3pc for batch A. Stock moved from our stock to customer consigment stock (batch A in our stock is zero). However when we look in MD04, the D.O is still there and it is showing the qty as -ve (-3pc) for batch A. In the material list, the 3 pc is put under scheduled to be deliver also under Batch A.
This will give us problem when we wanted to PGI for other stocks with other batches. The 3pcs in Batch A is holding the qty in the system.

Try running the program SDRQCR21 and check if this corrects the inventory. I believe this to be a case of inventory mis match. This program should correct the unnecessary entries in MD04.

Consingment stock report with values and periods..

hello guys,
i have an issue here.. consignmet stock are "managed" within SD. Is there a standard report which cointains info about consigment stock, its amounts (values) and periods ?
Main point here - consingment stock is processed within SD, so for example t.code MB54 is not useful here .

Hi......MB54 wont help since that shows the Vendor consignment stocks.
Use MB52 creatively like this.
Goto MB52
Put your plant name.
In the section 'Selection : Special stock', Mark the check box and put 'W' in Special Stock indicator.
Choose the other settings as per your choice.
Execute.
Now you will see a whole lot of stocks along wioth the Consignment stocks. If you only want to see the consignment stocks, do like this
In the list, put you cursor on the column 'S' which is special stock (i think the 4th colm in the list). Now choose the filter icon and put the filter criteria a 'W' i.e. customer consignment stock.
You can save this is a variant with a name, say /ZCONS.
Now come back to the initial MB52 screen. In the bottom section for display options, put this variant name in the field Layout.
So now when you next run the report with this variant, you will only get the customer consignment stocks with their values.

Goods Issue of consigmnent stock using MIGO

Hi Guru's,
I have configured stock determination group, rule header and iteam for consigment material. I have also assigned Stk. Deter. Rule in the Applications but am still unable to issue from consignment stock in my warehouse.
I have reservation and want to issue to 261K allowing the system to show that this is consignment stock and the vendor.
I have been able to do this in MB26 Pick List however I am still not able to do this in MIGO-GI. Stock determination icon is grayed out in MIGO-GI.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply... I have this config already set up and I still have the issue with icon grayed out. I cannot determine consigment stock from vendor. My settings for mtce plant includes the oper 4 check during picking.
I have:
Stock determination group assigned to my plant with the following:
Rule 2000 Consume consignment, then own
Priority indicator is1 for K, 2 for F unrestricted own stock
Also movement 261 is configured for production order to consume consignment, then own.
any ideas?

"Deficit of VC Unrestricted-use 1 EA : ICDB16 0799 WH01 K"
is it because that the data is not correct or some technical problem?

check whether sufficient stock is there from the vendor which it is being moved .

Replenishment of consignment stock in warehouse

Hello gurus
We are working in a retail system and we have some consignment stock that passes through the warehouse. My problem is when we run LP21 to replenish the picking location it creates the TR, but even if its only consingnment stock in the warehouse it does not set the special indicator and the creation of TO fails in LB10, since we are missing the special stock indicator.
I cant see where i can get the system to also cosider the special stock.
Any tips or tricks here?

You should try to use standard stock determination functionality to determine vendor consigment stock in WM - it can be used for deliveries, production orders, you can even use it for ad-hoc WM-stock transfers (LT01, LT10) which re not directly connected to IM movements.

Create a transfer order with consignment stock (K)

Dear all,
I need to create a transfer order from transaction ME21N. It is not a normal transfer order but it will be a trasfer order from stock K (consignment).
At the moment I am not able to create it.
The special stock field is not valuable.

Hi Matteo,
I'm not very familiar with consignment.
When you have consignment stock on your premises, it is owned by your vendor and when you take some pieces from it, you have to pay for these parts.
When you want to move your consignment stock from one plant to another it means that you withdraw material from the consigment stock (physically) and because of this the ownership of the stock changes. Henceforth there's no point in speaking about consignment stock since the stock has become your own stock (physically, due to withdrawal).
That's why I think you should move it first to your own stock (in SAP) and after that you could realize a plant to plant transfer.
This is only my idea , so please ask the others to confirm it, and please feel free to post this thread on the material management forum (SAP ERP - Logistics Materials Management (SAP MM)).
