Consignment MM-SD

Hi all,
I have 2 companies, the company A send material in consignment to company B and this sales it.
The company B settles the goods issues (trx MRKO) and this process creates a credit memo to company A.
The company A finishes with the billing that creates an invoice to company B.
I want to know what have to consider about the billing in both processes (MM and SD), because in this case I would have 2 legal document (credit memo of company B and invoice of company A) of the same materials.
Thanks.

Anibal,
In MRKO you are settling for the goods you received that means you are posting an auto invoice in company B (assuming that your info records and contracts are maintained correctly with the correct prices) as if you have got a invoice from the company A
I think you are incorrectly understanding that this is an invoice that is going from A to B agian. The document generated in MRKO is equivalent to one we get in MIRO which goes to AP(payables) of company B to settle with AR(receivables) of A.
From SAP Help,
The use of consignment and pipeline settlement reduces the cost of stockholding in the company by:
Reducing the flow of paper and administration work
Minimizing transport costs by using collective transports
And, for a modest capital tie-up, increased security of supply is guaranteed with minimal inventory levels and short lead times
Features
You do not expect an invoice from the vendor for goods withdrawals from consignment stocks or a pipeline. Instead you settle posted withdrawals and return deliveries yourself and send the vendor a statement of the settlement. You can perform this settlement periodically in the background. The following documents can be involved:
Invoices
Credit memos
Consignment settlement is connected to message determination. As a result, you can define a form in Customizing. A message record is created during each settlement. This message record completes the form. Depending on the system settings, you can send this form to the vendor immediately on posting or at a later time.
Note
If you want to change document header data for consignment settlements, use the Business Add-In MRM_MRKO_HDAT_MODIFY. For more information, see the documentation for the Business Add-In.

  • Consignment stock is NOT getting displayed in the MC.9 trnasaction.

    Hi experts,
We have some vendor consignement stock for some of our materials.
In inventory trnasactions like MMBE, MB54 it is corrctly displayed.
In the structure S032 also the consigment stock was updated. But we are not able to see this Consignement stock in the transaction MC.9
Mc.9 is showing ZERO consignment stock.
What is the reason for this?
    How to correct this?
Please help us in solving this.

  • A/P & Consignment data pull to Planning Cube.....

I put this in "BC & Extractors" section, but did not get any response.....
Need couple of clarifications (brief background is provided.....):
    1. We do DELTA extractions using 0FI_AP_3 adn 0FI_AR_4 to a base cube which includes both 'Open' and 'Cleared'
items. From this cube we do a DELTA load to a Planning Cube on a DAILY basis. We filter the data on Company Code
and 'Item Status' (OnlyOPEN Items) for Planning purposes. The key figure pulled to Planning Cube is '0DEB_CRE_DC'.
The bsae cube has data at Line Item Document level, where as the planning cube is only at Customer & Vendor level.
The question is - Will this Daily DELTA to Planning cube with filter on Open Item bring correct key figure? For example,
if the status of one of the items pulled as OPEN in earlier Delta changes to "CLEARED" the subsequent day, will the Key
Figure reflect the changes and show correct value? Is there any impact on the key figure due to the filter on Open Item?
My thinking is the key figure 0DEB_DRE_DC will reflect he correct number (adjsuted) since it is a summated key figure.
I could be totally wrong and want to understand this with comments from experts.
    2. Has anyone worked with pulling Consignment (SMI) data into Planning cube? We pull this data using a generic extractor
from a SAP table "RKWA" with some logic. Since I pull A/P data that contains SMI & Non-SMI transactions. To avoid
Double Counting, how can I avoid bringing in the SMI transactions from A/P? There is no flag to diffferentiate the SMI /
    Non-SMI transactions....
I am hoping someone has worked in these area to offer expert comments/ recommendations.
    Thanks.. Shaun

    Hello Lee,
For your first question as you are using the Filter on the status of the record,
lets say today the status is OPen and as a part of the filter the Delta will be able to pick this record as the status is OPen but if the status is changed to Closed tomorrow then this record will be completely ignored and hence in the next level target you will not have the right status at all.
So you need to plan your filters accordingly.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

    Exemplificando:

    Alessandro

    Oi Alessandro.
A devolução é feita via NF writer (J1B1N).

    Alessandro Luiz

    Bom dia Luiz Henrique.

so contabilizar um imposto - ICMS

    Atenciosamente,

  • Consignment Stock movements in ORT_C37

    Hi Experts,
I am working on BW IS-Retail  implementation. In my project for stock information, we are  using 0RT_C37 infocube.  But I am not getting the consignment stock material movements in my report.  Please let me know  how to get the  consignment material movements in 0rt_c37 infocube.
Any enhancements required for 2lif_03_bf infosource. I saw the consignements stock movements in 0IC_C03 cube.  But I am using 0rt_c37 cube for retail values.
Please help me out from this issue.
    Regards,
    Chandra

    Hi
There are two option for u
First option is...you can update the same cube with another infosource and updat rule to feed the data into the cube and get the consignment stock detail
this should not affect the data consistency or granularity of the cube....
Second option is..as already said create a multiprovider or infoset depending on the report...if u feel joins wil be useful go for infoset query or union condition is sufficing ur report requirement go for multiprovider....
this should not affect the reporting performance as joins are done during runtime and may take some time to fetch

  • Consignment stock in MC.9 report

    Hi All.
In MC.9 report, consignment stock is consider under valuated stock or non valuated stock.
I run MC.9 report in two different system. In one system consignment stock is under valuated stock while in other it is not considered as valuated stock. Which system is correct.
If consignment stock is valuated stock then why it is not considered as valuated stock in other system.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    chetan

    Hello,
The stock of MC.9 reflects the complete stock at plant level. It includes also the sock of material which one is send to vendor.(Subcontracting)  You can also cross check through MMBE in which stock prov. to vendor is different.
While MB5B had three radio buttons for stock type.
1 - Storage loc/Batch stock - which not include the materials provided to vendor.
2 - Valuated stock    - - Total valuated stock as per your selection crieteria.
3 - Special stock -- all the special stock such as subcontracting/pipeline/consignment.
If you click on Valuated radio button and execute it, you will get same stock under head Closing stock and the value will same as the value in MC.9
--Just click Valuated stock radio button.

  • INVENTORY REPORT for customer but not consignment company owned

    HI Everyone,
I am working on creating an inventory report and sending it out to a customer.
We have a customer who needs to see their inventory we are going to ship. we are making materials for them on an MTS scenario based on a forecast... So the customer before placing a PO should be able to look at the inventory levels we make for them. on a daily basis.... No what I am trying to is execute a program that sends out an inventory report (the programs I am using are( RSMIPROACT and ROEMPROACT)... I try to fill in the fields and save as a variant and we run it as a background job every morning and we send out an idoc to the customer...
The above process is a scenario that still needs to be worked on...
THe customer should be able to look at only his stock and not any other stock....
Now can we use a display of listing/exclusion function to send out the material stock report.... we need to send the total inv as well as the mat numbers... can we acheive it with the listing/exclusion funtion..
Or is there a program that pulls all the data from the tables which store the customer material info record where we maintain all the materials for a customer...
If there i a better way through which this can eb done please suggest me... thank you..
Once again the above stock is not consignent stock... we are manufacturinng based on the forecasts and we need the customer t be able to look at the stock on a daily basis.... Please help...

There is no report / funtionality is SAP to acheive this. Custom program is the only solution. Your logic looks ok, where there is a CMIR maintained, you may pick the total stock from table MARD put into a format/layout and transfer via idoc to the customer.
    Thanks & regards
    AHP.

  • Report for consignment materials

    Hi SAP Gurus,
Is there a report for consignment materials that can show us the opening balance, receipts, Usage, and ending balance (of the stock) for a given time frame?
    thanks
    Anusha

This doesn't do any good. it just gives the vendor information. I'm not looking for this. I'm looking for a report or a t code which gives what the opening stock levels, receipts of stock, usage of stock and ending balance of stock for consignment materials for a given time period for a plant
    thanks
