  • WRP1 excluding open POs based on doc type

    Hi friends,
We are using SAP IS Retail ECC 6.0
In our business, we are having requirement that Open PO quantity of particular document type (eg ZNBA) should be excluded from the WRP1 requirement calculation.
    Eg:
For an article 100001, Site A001, following are the details,
    Reorder point - 10
    Target stock - 20
    Current stock - 5
Open PO quantity: (ZPO1 and ZPO2 are PO doc. types)
    ZPO1 - 2
    ZPO2 - 1
Now WRP gives requirement of article as of 12 quantities.
My requirement is to it should not include ZPO1 open quantity in consideration but should take ZPO2 into consideration.
Hence requirement is to create PO for 14 quantities
    How do I achieve this?
We have a control in SAP IS Retail where we can specify, that stock of which storage location should be considered in replenishment requirment calculation.
Do we have a similar control for the PO Doc type?  If not, how do I achieve workaround?
    Thank you,
    regards,
    Gaurav

    Hi,
Do the Following,  Create a new storage location., "ZL01"
Whenever your creating a PO with this "ZPO1" document type assin this Slocation "ZL01", then do the below settings in SPRO..
SPRO->Materials Management->Consumption-based Planning->Planning->Define Storage Location MRP per plant.
(In RP indicatior please give "1"Storage location stock excluded from RP, this will exclude the stk from this location)

  • Acct assignment to be restricted based on Doc type

    Dear All
I need to restrict Account assignments based on Document types,
As of my knowledge there is not standard customizing possible.
But i can restrict Acct assignment based on Item catregory. But this settings doesn't satisfy my requirement,
I would like to know is there any standard customizing or any user exit availble .
    Kindly let me know
    Thanks & regards
    Madhesh Kumar

    hi,
there is no sap standard  customising for this please go ahead with user exit in PO.
    create an doc type.
when you select the perticular doc type system should take default account assignment.

  • Two IBR instances based on doc type.

Hi, I've got two IBR instances (11g) on differents machines (one on Unix and the other on Windows), and they works fine with UCM. But what I want is that UCM choose the IBR in order to send documents, and the choice must be based on the de doc type. For example, if it's a MS Office file, I want this document to be sended to Windows IBR. In other case, documents goes to Unix IBR.
Could this be possible to do?
    Thanks.

    Hi Sai,
Documents can be viewed and controlled based on document types etc. While you search documents all documents will be displayed.
If the user doesn't av the authorization for a particular document type when he tries to double click on document it shows an error message as  " No authorization for that document type".
CV04N:Find documents is a std report where you cannot change it.

  • Different Partner Determination  based on doc types

I have got access to SAP Cloud for customer solution. I needed to define two document types for Opportunity which i can do in Fine tune activity of project scope.
However, unlike Onpremise CRM there is no way in cloud for assigning different Partner Determination procedures to these document types in cloud ? I am just getting the feeling that we need to write to write a lot of code to manage this what could have been std. configuration provided by SAP like Onpremise SAP systems.
Is the above true or my fears are unfounded ? How can this be best achieved.
    -Apoorva

    Hi Apoorva,
As of now we can only define multiple Transaction Types trough customizing but cannot tweak the partner determination.
It helps in configuring few things like Activity Advisor, Reason for Win/Loss etc but Partner Determination is not an option provided to us in cloud trough configuration like in Standard CRM as on date.
May be in future when it is inevitable they will give this feature because it does not really makes sense giving an option to create multiple Transaction Types just for categorizing things when it can do more.
You can any way raise an incident to SAP and they might suggest you any solution/alternative or redirect you to SAP Service Center which might be chargeable.

  • Default Material Group based on PO Doc Type

    Dear Experts,
Is there any standard configuration available to default Material Group in PO based on Document Type. I checked the forum, one of the earlier posts is suggesting Enhancement, but I am looking for Configuration.
I cannot use IMG--> Materials Management --> External Services Management --> Source Determination and Default Values --> for Purchasing Organizations, since it is already used by Freight team.
    Please advise.
    Manish

    Hello Manish,
As already mentioned by all members that this is not possible by using Standard Configuration. What you can do is if this material group is going to be used everytime by the Purchase Department users, then you can ask them to make this default in their personal settings in ME21 Tcode. Every time they will execute the transaction system will default this material Group. The same can be done for doc type also.

    Dear Sumith,
You can do so with Rights / Authorisation Management.
Go to T-Code: PFCG - Enter the Role assigned to your User ID or create a new Role...
In Menu Tab Assign the T-Code - VA02 - Go to Authorisations Tab Page - Click on Change Authorisation Data -
Expand the Standard Sales and Distribution menu - Expand the Standard - Sales Document: Authorization for Sales Document Types - Click on Change button on  Sales Document Type menu & Assign the Document type for which you want to give rights to the users...
Save the profile & Assign it to User Id (if required...)
You will have to take help of your Basis Person to create Roles / Profiles & assigning it to User IDs...

  • Integration of ECC Scheduling Agreement (Doc Type LP) with SAP TM

    Hello Experts,
I am trying to integrate ECC Scheduling Agreement (Doc Type LP) to create OTR in TM System. I have maintained below settings:
    1. Create and Activate Control Key
    2. Output determination procedure linked to LP has output type TRS0 with requirement 27 assigned.
    3. Output condition record has been created
    4. I have checked Business Functions are also active
I was able to transfer other Document Types like OR; RE; FD (ECC Free of Charge); SDF (ECC Subsequent Delivery - Free of Charge); Consignment Fill up and Consignment Pick up by maintaining these settings, but not able to push Scheduling Agreement LP to TM.
The output TRS0 is not appearing automatically and if I try to insert and execute this output in Scheduling agreement, Output is failing with error message: "Order is not TM-relevant"
Is there any other config or mapping or SAP Note that needs to be applied to achieve this integration? Because I believe standard integration is available for ECC Scheduling agreement (I have read in help.sap.com).
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vikram Bhardwaj

    Hello Vikram,
    You mean this documentation:http://help.sap.com/saphelp_tm81/helpdata/en/9c/787f3c0a771e57e10000000a114084/content.htm?frameset=/en/44/b0488e9c35612be10000000a155369/frameset.htm ?
I think there is talking about the integration for SCM Basis as SOS, not Order Integration.

  • Default  Doc Type for PO

    Hi Friends..
I need your help in solving a Puzzle in SAP.
I want to use ME59N automatic po conversion option for creation of PO from PR.Here PR doc type is NB-Standard, I want PO doc type to be my own doc type " CT3 " doc type. I have made below settings,
    a.Activated Auto PO in VMR.
    b.Activated Auto PO in MMR
c.Linked my CT3 doc type in SPRO.
But, when I tried to do default doc type settings in SPRO, SAP didn't
accept this Tcode (ME59N) & hence not successfull.
SAP is taking default doc type as NB & not tailor made "CT3" doc type.
    Pl respond.
    Thanks,  VK.

    Hi,
You hve done settings for Automatic PO, I think those setting are not required for you. Because your scenario is not Automatic PO.
In ME21N transaction you can do personnel settings with this whenever you run the ME21N tcode by default system will pick tht doc type as default doc type. This can be user based setting.
Hve you maintained the combination of PO document type and PR docuement type ? If you are using onli CT3 PO document type, assign this PO document type only.
In SPRO - MM - Purchasing - Define default Doc types maintain the defulat doc type for ME21N transaction.
Hope its clear, still if u hve questions let me know.
    reg
    Durga

  • Table for combination of Purchase requestition doc type and Purchase order doc type

    Hi,
    scenario:
Purchase requestion has document type of Direct purchase which has allowable item category "Standard, consignment, subcontracting, third party and stock transfer".
Purchase order has document type of indirect purchase which has allowable item category "standard and services".
Now i saw in Define Document type OMEC, 'Doc type-Direct purchase' of purchase requestion is being linked to 'Doc type-Indirect purchase' of purchase order.
    Question:
Can you please let me know how to pull of data for combination of  'Doc type-Direct purchase' of purchase requestion and 'Doc type-Indirect purchase'  of purchase order from SE16N? (assuming that we dont know what PR is converted to PO for the above combination)
Note: Please don't delete this thread

You did the hardest part: finding the custo in SPRO.
Once you there, just click "table view" :
    and then on "print"
Once you click, you see the table name you are looking for:
    Hope it helps,

  • Anybody ever created multple PO doc type/number ranges in extended classic?

I have searched this forum, and found plenty of useful threads which would help me determine different document types/number ranges for back-end purchase orders in a classic scenario. (And I have done something similar many years ago on a classic EBP 3.0 implementation)
However, I have a customer who has an SRM 5 extended classic implementation, and who (Based on certain simple criteria) requires a different PO number range to identify certain types of indirect orders. (They also have direct materials procured using doc type ECDP, but that's not relevant to this requirement)
This would obviously have to apply to the local PO in SRM, as well as the backend ECC PO.
It would also need to be derived for orders created automatically via approved shopping carts, as well as those orders that are created via sourcing.
I've copied ECPO via define transaction types IMG step, as well as assigned a new number range.
Just to test, I've also added the second doc type in the BSA attribute for a particular test user - just initially see if it was possible to manually choose when creating a PO in sourcing. However, I could only get ECDP and ECPO.
I have looked at various BADIs to see if I can determine doc type or number range somewhere in the PO creation, but as far as I can see, they either:
    - Seem to apply only to the object type (PO, requisition, reservation etc) rather than the transaction type within that object.
    - Or look like they are too late in the process to influence the doc type and number range (BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI?) ... which doesn't seem to have those doc type or PO number fields available anyway
    - Or I doesn't seem to be trigerred at all when turning requirement into Po and ordering via sourcing. (tried break-point & endless loop in implemnetation of BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW, but nothing happened. In any case the PO number was alreadya ssigned)
If anybody has ever managed this before, or can tell me that I am definitely barking up the wrong tree, it would be gratefully appreciated. The document type is actually lesss important than the different number range... and was really just an attempt to trigger a different number. I'm starting to think that this sort of thing may only be possible in a classic implemntation.
What I need ideally, would have been some kind of 'local PO' equivelent of the BADI that enables you to determine transaction type for a bid.
    Regards,
    Vince
Edited by: Vincent White on Dec 6, 2010 5:13 PM

Hi. Not sure on this, but I can tell you that with extended classic it is BADI BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI that is called for the backend PO instead of the CREATEPO_BACK BADI.
You can have a look in BBP_ECS_PO_OUT_BADI and see if that helps?
Don't think it will influence the PO in SRM at all though.
Have you tried the number range / grouping BADIs? They definitly work for changing the number range for classic POs.

    Dave.

    Dear Experts
i had configured a new company code and done the necessary configuration changes in the FSCD collection and disbursement module but while posting a document in FPE1 in FSCD i am unable to post a document .
At present i am getting the following error for the document" Event type 50 : Doc type 30 is for incoming payment
Kindly help me  urgently as i am stuck up on the issue
    Regards
    Devendra Mohan

Payment document can be posted based on the accounting document.
If you want you can maintain invoice number in reference field, also there is one option to make reference field mandatory.
In OBA7 activate reference document number as mandatory for the document type DZ. So, while doing the transaction in F-28, value should be mandatory to this field.
If maintain invoice value in reference field, then you can do sorting and totaling based on the reference field in FBL5N.
there are no standard reports to check the outstanding amount based on the invoice number.
