Consistently slow internet

Question

Hi,
Ever since joing BT, I have had a very slow internet speed. I have the Unlimited 17Mbps Total Broadband, but even BT's speed test shows I'm getting just 0.47 at the most!
I have tried everything, changing channels, noise test, test plug, changing microfilter...they even sent a new home hub 3.0. Nothing works! I can't even watch any online video's with it have to stop and buffer every two or so seconds. 
BT's technical support have been less than helpful! I work Monday-Friday 9-5. this just so happens to be the only time a BT engineer can visit. I cannot take a day off work, if I said to my boss I needed a day off because of my internet, I'd probably get fired.
This is really frustrating! any suggestions? The landlord who lives in my flat before me said he has no issues with the internet what so ever and he was with BT.

here is what it says after I plugged the filter into the test socket and it re connected to the internet, I also moved the router away from the window/wall. Do I need to restart the device?
