Console shortcuts not working - pro or enterprise version needed?

I was just trying to try out the newly announced shortcuts on cmd and/or powershell (http://www.hanselman.com/blog/Windows10GetsAFreshCommandPromptAndLotsOfHotkeys.aspx) but it doesn´t work. does anybody know whether i would need the enterprise preview of
win 10? only downloaded the pro version and wouldn´t want to waste time for downloading the enterprise version if that´s not the problem here...

I am running the Enterprise version and I spot-checked those commands. They work in this version. I don't have the Pro version to handy verify. HTH

I had this problem too but using Windows 7. I tried resetting, renaming the shortcuts, swearing loudly, none of it worked. I found out it was a totally unrelated program, Xfinity Protection Suite, that was the culprit. My virus protection program added it as an 'upgrade.' AFter I uninstalled it everything was back to normal. Have you installed anything new onto your computer lately that could be interfering?

This is working fine in Enterprise version, but when I am trying the same in Rel 4.6C, I am getting a syntax error at the Select statement which states,
"The WHERE condition does not refer to the FOR ALL ENTRIES table.-"
Could anyone please suggest how to avoid this error?

Hi Chemmam,
yes, that will be a version problem. The general rule says, always use the NWDS corresponding to your server, and the main reason are the differences within the webdynpro implementation.
So if you have a 6.40 with SP13 for example, use NWDS 2.0.13 as the base of your deployment.

Safari 5.1 customized keyboard shortcut not working

I've just updated safari on snow leopard and my customized keyboard shortcut: go to next/previous panel (ctrl -> and ctrl <-) don't work anymore even if i set them in my system preferences

I'm also experiencing issues with custom keyboard shortcuts not working after the update to Safari 5.1. I had no problems with the previous version of Safari.... I wish I had not updated.

2.2.1 is not the latest available for any ipod touch.
Is yours the original ipod touch?

Console -f not working in ALOM

Hi,
I connected to ALOM on V240 installed with Solaris 10.
console -f does not give me console on screen.
Sun(tm) Advanced Lights Out Manager 1.6.8
sc> console -f
Enter #. to return to ALOM. ...I pressed ENTER a lot of times but does not give me console.
Another observation in this case is that I found server is connected to KVM and the console is working there currently.
output-device=screen
input-device=keyboard
for other server with same eeprom values, ALOM>console -f shows console login prompt. but KVM console is not working for this server.
Any ideas ?

Set your input-device and output-device to 'ttya' to force the system console via the ALOM.
The default settings of screen/keyboard will still route the console to ALOM when there is not actually a screen and keyboard attached, but when they are attached, well, they become the console.

CMD+ shortcuts not working in Dreamweaver CS3

I'm have a very strange issue with CMD+ keyboard shortcuts
not working in Dreamweaver CS3 on OSX 10.5. These actions are
working from the menus (i.e., copy, cut, paste, etc.). CMD+
shortcuts work in other CS3 apps. I've searched this forum and
googled up and down and found some references to issues like this
with Dreamweaver 8, but nothing for CS3.
Has anyone experienced this problem? I'm completely stumped.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

10g JSpell PJC does not work with latest JSpell version

Looks like latest (10g) forms demo - Spell check with JSpell does not work with the latest version of the JSpell software (does not look like this demo been changed from the previous version).
Does anybody has a success running this or have any suggestions how to integrate it together?

Console port not working.

I would like to know if there's some situation what a console port could be disabled, or something like that.
I'm trying to configure a Catalyst 2960 Series PoE-24 by the console port using the hyperterminal, but it's not working. I verified the cable and the COM port, and everything works with another switch (same model).
Does anyone knows what could possibly be happening?

My colleagues have focused on the usual issues that cause the console to not work - possible issues with the terminal emulator or more likely is mis match in the speed setting of the console. If you work through those possibilities and the console still does not work then I have another possibility to suggest. Perhaps someone configure the command no exec under line con 0. This would cause the console to not work. It would display messages during bootup but would not accept any commands.
Does the switch seem to boot up normally? Was it configured with an IP address that you could potentially telnet to? This would give you a way to investigate the configuration.
If my suggestion is correct and the issue is that no exec was configured then you should be able to use password recovery to bypass the existing config and this could restore normal operation for the switch.

Safari keyboard shortcut not working right.
I have 6 website in favourite bookmark. When press cmd + 1 should load 1st website in favourite folder. Nothing happen. Same cmd + 2, cmd + 3 etc.
Now cmd + 1 keep add ':)' smiley text emotion instead.
I have reset keyboard shortcut default in System Preference Keyboard but nothing change.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

F is the default shorcut for »Change Screen Mode« for me, so I’m not sure what you want with the qualifier keys.
Have you changed your Edit > Keyboard Shortcut?
