Console warning came up

It does not seem too dire but a "console warning" came up in my dock. My computer has tried to start up twice in the last few weeks but the screen stays dark and I just hit the power switch and turn the computer back on and every thing is fine after that, and everything works. Now I got the console with these warnings about a week after the last powerup after sleep failure:
2008-03-24 08:11:00.149 SyndicationAgent[665] WARNING: SQLite error 11: database disk image is malformed
2008-03-24 08:11:00.150 SyndicationAgent[665] WARNING: SQLite error 11: database disk image is malformed
2008-03-24 08:11:00.150 SyndicationAgent[665] WARNING: SQL query failed:
DELETE FROM Articles WHERE id IN
then a whole list of numbers running for hundreds of numbers/lines then this last line:
2008-03-24 08:11:15.597 SyndicationAgent[665] WARNING: ArticlesStore: Fatal database error: exiting!
bu everything still works. Is a crash on the way. Any suggestions. My 3 year support just ended:(
Everything is still working with these error messages, I'm even on line and using other Mail, etc!

yes, all my terminal emulator settings are correct.
I do agree these problems are strange. I connect fine, do my things, then I lock the PC (I do leave the hyper termninal session open mpst of the time though)
and then 2 or 3 days later, I try to go back to the hyper terminal window but it does not let me type anything. So I close the HT session, open up a new one, but same thing... I can't type anything nor see anything from the router (not even a prompt)
Again, the only fix is rebooting the device and once I do, I then see activity via the HT window and I can also type stuff

  • Macbook pro console warning AY 7:36 Solution?

my brand new macbook pro produces the console warning AY 7:36.
    What shall I do?

Open your Applications folder; scroll down to Utilities, open that and then highlight "Console". You will see the icon. It is an application and you can simply double click (or right click) to open it. It contains all the logs the computer keeps on everything that is taking place - diagnostics, crash reporter, etc. So, you might have had an application crash or something like it - that would most likely activate the Console log. In any case, if it is still open, simply choose Quit in the Menu.

  • Our air mac all of a sudden displayed a console warning box, why, and what should i do?

Our mac air has given us a warning via console. I am not sure how to deal with it, I have verified disk permissions and stuff but what do I do?
    it includes messages like:
    4/27/14, 11:39:23 AM  kernal: wlEvent: en0 en0 Link UP virtif = 0
10:10:37 AM imagent: [Warning] Denying xpc connection, task does not have entitlement: com.apple.private.icfcallserver   (soagent:2996)
The second one is when the Warning Box happened
    Any idea what this means?
    Or what I can do?
    Thanks,
    JanetAq

Thank you for the link!  I've read it and it kinda opens a whole new can of worms for me.  So if I understand correctly the xmp file stores Metadata because a .CR2 file cannot store the metadata inside of it.   And the storage of this information with the file is necessary if you make metadata changes in Lightroom, and then later want to open that file in a different program.  So if I ever decide to reorganize some of my raw files in Mac's Finder folders than all I have to do is make sure I move the xmp file along with it?  Not separate them? And then my other question is does the xmp file also store the changes I made in developer?  Like the white balance, exposure, lens corrections, etc...?

  • Photoshop CS3  - error console warning on opening

Hi, I am working on a Mac book pro. I have recently noticed a warning message coming up on console messages when I open Photoshop, or indeed any of my adobe programmes. Part of the message that shows is detailed below. Please can anybody advise what is causing this. Have the programmes been corrupted in some way? Is Class EpicController part of the software? the message then repeats with Class EpicJSWindowExternalHandler and Class EpicWizardController
    12/03/2009 09:20:47 [0x0-0x1d01d].com.adobe.Photoshop[151] objc[151]: Class EpicController is implemented in both /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3.app/Contents/Frameworks/adobe_personalization.framework/adobe_personalization and /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3.app/Contents/Frameworks/adobe_registration.framework/adobe_registration. Using implementation from /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Adobe Photoshop CS3.app/Contents/Frameworks/adobe_registration.framework/adobe_registration.
Any help with this, gratefully received - Thanks

    Someone else reported this recently.
It is apparently a false message (caused by an error in OSX) and can safely be ignored.

  • Console warning - what does this mean?

    Help!
I installed 10.3.9 and thought I had done everything correctly. However, when I was using Safari on the jigsaw.com website, the fan started racing at a very high speed.
Not knowing much about computers, but having read MANY posts, I looked at the console log and found the following:

    Me too.
I'm playing an iTunes video that I downloaded and is in my movies folder, then the AUDIO/VIDEO synchronization mismatch.  I check Console and get "iTunes AVF Warning:  retireCmdAsynch ....q size = 12, releasing oldest CVPixelBuffer"
Which now that I read it, makes sense with symptom.  "Asynch"  "PixelBuffer"
Problem is, I don't know how to solve this issue.  It doesn't happen on every video, but would appreciate some sighted advice.
    Thanks,

  • WARNING: Camera update breaks the Encore

You may want to skip the current camera update released via Windows Update, at least with the Encore 1. If you've already installed it, go into Device Manager and roll back the driver. Your camera will suddenly work again. You may want to hide the update in Windows Update because if you tick it again by mistake your camera will fall over again.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Since doing the roll back and restart I haven't been able to see the cameras anywhere, in any apps that I have got. Does anybody know where the drivers are kept on the Toshiba site?

I would say that it's pretty low disk space.
Partitioning is a personal thing, it depends on how much you install. Some need only 5 GB, some need e.g. 40 GB.

  • Trying to upgrade to os 10.8.5  I now use 10.75  Bot the upgrade and downloaded. But a warning msg said that I need 10.8 first.  So trashed the dload, shut down machine thinking to go back and start over. Now the mac won't let me try re-download

Hi - I made a mistake, I guess.  I'm tring to upgrade to os 10.85.  I now use 10.75.  I bought the upgrade and downloaded it, completely I thought... but when I opened it to install it, a warning came up and said I need 10.8  in order to install 10.85.  So...after some thought, I trashed the down load and went back to the app staore to find 10.8.   the little box by the mountain lion image said 'downloading'/  Sure enough in a remote corner of the screen there was a little box that said it was downloading.   arrgh.   I'd already trashed what was downloaded in finder .   So I figured I'd stop the download in the little box (which I think was 10.8)  , turn off the mac.  and then reboot, and download the whole thing again.
Now, when I go to the mountain lion image in the app store, and press 'download'  It won't let me download at all.   ??What to do??

    Back up all data.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
From the App Store menu bar, select
Store ▹ Check for Unfinished Downloads...
You may be prompted to sign in. If that doesn't solve the problem, quit the application and continue as below.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    open $TMPDIR../C
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). A folder should open. From that folder, delete the subfolder named "com.apple.appstore".
Quit Terminal. Launch the App Store and try again.

  • CC & PS WON'T LAUNCH / BRIDGE WON'T LET ME EDIT IN CAMERA RAW

I'm on Mac OS X. First problem I encountered today was that Bridge would not let me edit in Camera Raw. It gave me this warning:
Camera Raw editing is not enabled.
Camera Raw editing requires that a qualifying product
has been launched at least once to enable this feature
I tried launching PS and my short cut bounces in my dock like it is going to open, then nothing happens. Same thing when I try to launch CC or the Uninstall manager. So I found on a different forum to run the Adobe Cleaner and it did the same thing. Have many projects I have to complete for my job. Thanks in advance for any help!

...Turns out the ONE obvious thing I hadn't tried was to go into the CC App itself, into preferences, then log out of my Adobe account and back in again - fixed the issue!
I couldn't believe its so simple and feel a bit stupid - but I had completely uninstalled the main CC App then re-downloaded it from Adobe, it downloaded already logged in as I was logged in on the website.
I hope this helps someone else with the same issue, as I had scoured the forums and the Adobe FAQ pages and hadn't found any solution. I stumbled across this whilst waiting for an agent to answer on the live chat!

  • Batch Capture - Error/Warning

I have a PowerPC G5 with a Firewire800 external HD plus a SATA external RAID system all connected to the G5. I have been (up to now) successful in batch capturing my video's. I now get an error message (warning) when I attempt to batch capture even one file. The messages says:
    Warning:
_You are about to capture non-drop frame media from a device currently detecting or configured for drop frame media. If you proceed, you may experience changes in logged in and out points, problems relinking media or removal of master clip relationships_.
If I continue, the process quickly gives me an error.
My playback unit is a Sony DSR-11. I am capturing it directly to the 800 Firewire external HD (granite digital). I have ran TechTool on the G5 without issues (I even re-seated all the PCI cards, memory boards prior to running TechTool). I have two aftermarket cards (SATA card for the LaCie and a Firewire card). The Granite Digital is plugged into the standard 800 Firewire port.
The only way I can capture a video is by NOT using Batch Capture but only by capturing the individual clip. For some reason that works but the Batch Capture does not. I use this system a LOT for video editing (I use FCP Pro 6.0.5).
    I would appreciate any suggestions.

I didn't receive a reply to this but I believe I figured out what what "drop frame box" Irl is taking about.
The only Drop frame box I could think of is in User Preferences. I unchecked that and it didn't do anything. I captured one clip and the audio was out of sync.
Looking at the Batch Capture dialog closer I noticed an unchecked "Add Handles" with a timecode that includes the semicolon. I checked that and started the recapture. The Warning came up again but I went ahead and the audio was back in sync.
I have no clue as to why this setting is in the batch window as I only thought handles were for trimming. The manual skips over what it does. I'll reply again if I find anything else.

  • Apple Care - Just WARNED me NOT to install 10.4.10 if.....

I had any 3rd pty. USB devices. This is outrageous. Who uses a Mac without at least ONE 3rd Pty. USB Device....
Anyway... The warning came too late. Now I cannot even reinstall from my original DVD... After the installer has booted the internal HD has a red triangle attached to it and this message appears:
"OS X Cannot be installed on this volume as OS X cannot boot from this volume" I thought it was because of the present system installed so I initialized the drive with ZERO as option.... Still the same....
I've rebooted several times and run Hardware Test.... NO CHANGE - I cannot cant even install the OS X Original to an external Firewire drive...
Thanks Apple Care for that warning.... Would have been nice if you had included it in the installer as a head line or wrote about it here at this forum.
I will send you a bill for my lost time...

Did you format your drive with the correct partition scheme? For your G5, that would be "Applepartitionscheme"
