Consolidate All Windows option not functional in Illustrator CC 2014

I just downloaded the Illustrator CC 2014 update, and I cannot for the life of me consolidate all my open documents to one window. In other words I want to dock all open documents to the top in tabs. In the regular CC version, if you have multiple documents in tabs in a floating window, you can go to Window > Arrange > Consolidate All windows, and it will dock all of those docs at the top in tabs. However in CC 2014 that option is greyed out and I can't select it. Anyone else experiencing this bug? Am I doing something wrong? (The first image is CC 2014, and the second is from regular CC, what I want it to look like.)

SUCCESS!! I figured out that you need the Application Frame option checked in order to achieve the layout I like. Silly me.

All Photos option not working

I imported my aperture library of about 200GB. The problem is not that the photos are not in the new library, but I must know when they were taken in order to find them. So for instance, I'm looking through the photos for a specific photo but can't find it. I find some photos from around this date, but some are missing. It appears as though just part of the Photo Stream is present in the "All Photos" viewing option (which of course is definitionally not "ALL"). I searched for the exact date when I took the picture and a Photostream Album popped up with photos I was searching for, but this is highly problematic. What if I hadn't know the dates, etc.
Anyway, I have no idea how to make "All" my photos open in the "All Photos" option.

Here are the steps I have used:
1. On default view added a rich text box.
2. Created another view called Print and mapped it to the same Field which I added to default view
3. Set the Wrap text and Expand to show all text on both the Rich Text Box Properties - in default view and in Print
view. Also set the height of the rich text box to auto.
4. Set the print views as the print view for default view
5. Deployed the form to SharePoint Form Library
6. Opened the form in browser
7. Entered the content in the rich text box in default view. It expands well if I have much content
8. Clicked on Print preview and that opens up the print preview and it shows the rich text box only one line in height and with scroll bar
I missed to mention that it is a web browser enabled form and I am using InfoPath 2013 and SP 2013.
It does work fine in InfoPath client.

"ChnCFCFiltCalc" in Crash option not functioning correctly

It appears that the "EndPoints" option for the "ChnCFCFiltCalc" command is not functioning correctly. It does not seem to be reflecting the points to pad the data at the beginning and end of the signal. This is based on the results of filtering done with and without the option activated. Not activating the option appears to reflect the data and you get the results you would expect to see with the option activated. Activating the option give you results you would expect to see without the option activated.
I am using Version 8.0.981
This was functioning correctly in previous versions. Can you tell me when the "EndPoints" option stopped functioning correctly? I assume it was with Version 8.0. Is it correc

The parameter "CFCPREEVENTTYPE" is an enumeration variable with the selection "EndPoints" or "ZeroMagnitude" and not is optional.
Every mathematical function in DIAdem represents their parameters in global variables - eg. "CFCPREEVENTTYPE" as one parameter of the function "ChnCFCFiltCalc".
If you now call a function in a VBScript you have two possibilities
a) call the function with parameters like ChnCFCFiltCalc(X, Y, E, CFCFiltType, 0,"EndPoints")
b) call the function without parameters like ChnCFCFiltCalc
In case b) DIAdem will use the current content of the global parameter variable.
Maybe that this is you problem.

Open Link in New Window Option Not Working in Top Link Bar

Hello,
We have a 'Popular Links' section in our Top Link Bar for our intranet site that contains a list of frequently used links. Since most of these links navigate to sites outside of SharePoint, we would like these to open in a new tab or window when clicked.
I've enabled the 'Open Link in New Window' option under Site Navigation Settings for each link, however when a user clicks the links that have had this option enabled the content is still loaded in the current tab.
Is this the correct set of steps to enable this content, or is there a better way to accomplish this that actually works?

Quick Font Sampling Not Working in Illustrator CC 2014 18.1.0

I just updated Illustrator CC 2014 to version 18.1.0 and have lost a feature I've come to depend upon to try out different fonts. I don't know what to call the feature, but this is how it worked:
With a type box selected or type highlighted, I would go to the font menu and with my up/down arrows on my keyboard, start going through the list. This would cause the selected text to change. It was a super quick way to run up and down my font list to see what different type would look like.
Any ideas what's gone wrong?
What I'm running:
iMac OS 10.9.5
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB RAM
FontExplorer X Pro 4.2.1

I can change the font with the arrow tool, but it wouldn't change the text block I was applying it to unless I then hit "Enter." In the previous version of AI, I didn't need to do this until I landed on a font I wanted to use.
However, after an hour-long chat with Adobe, they were able to see my issue and provided a very simple fix:
1. Quit Illustrator CC 2014 18.1.0.
2. Go to: User>Library>Preferences>Adobe Illustrator 18 Settings, select the folder "en_US" and change its name (they had me rename it to "2en_US")
3. Relaunch Illustrator and the problem should be resolved. Illustrator creates a new preference folder.
4. You can go ahead and delete the original, renamed preference folder.
I hope this is helpful to others that have had the same problem.

InfoPath 2013 - Rich Text box - Expand to show all text option not working

I have create an InfoPath form and created a view which will be used for printing. I have a rich text box in this print view and the scroll option for this rich text box is set to "Expand to show all text". However, it is not working and it doesn't
expand the size of the text box based on the content length.
same thing used to work in InfoPath 2010.
Any suggestions?

Windows links not functioning

I am piloting the use of a mac on my companies windows network.
I have managed to mount the windows drives and can access all files as required. In general I have enjoyed the transition and love OSX.
The only thing that I have no clue how to get working is links to network locations in emails. If I click on an embedded link I get an error such as "The file ///filer1/shared/Engineering/Admin/New building planning/Building manual/published could not be found."
The drive referenced is mounted on my machine and I can access the file in Finder but not directly from the link.
Can anyone suggest how to make the links work?

The link you received uses the old Windows (before the public Internet) network path format. Originally, you'd refer to files on Windows servers using the format
\SERVERPathToShare
Since most network file servers at the time used '/' instead of '\' as a path separator, Windows eventually accepted this as an alternative:
//SERVER/Path/To/Share
Then, the web came along and introduced the URL and URI. This used '/' as the file separator and introduced the protocol prefix and ':'. So, paths to files on Windows-type servers became:
smb://SERVER/Path/To/Share
... and since Microsoft wanted to appear Internet savvy, they renamed SMB to CIFS (despite the protocol no routing across the internets), so we eventually ended up with the synonymous
cifs://SERVER/Path/To/Share
Anyway... They are using the old Windows-style links whereas OS X (and other operating systems) use the newer URI link format. You can ask them to use the URI / Internet-style links, or you can cut and paste the link into Finder's "Connect to Server..." dialog and preprend 'smb:' to it.

Windows Update not Functioning

I am running Win 7 Pro 64 bit.
I have a few issues with my registry. Windows update stopped working a couple of months ago.
I have tried running sfc / scannow, which will not run.
I have tried all of the system readiness tools, etc.
I am an old MCSE ( Win 2000 ) ( have been out of the profession for a while )

Hi, I have tried all of the above. None of these work even in safe mode. Have run system readiness tool numerous times and I still have the same errors. I have gone into the registry, but cannot determine what the issues are for these keys.
I would like to avoid reinstalling the whole OS. ( I have many apps to reinstall )
It seems like after an automatic update sometime in Jan or Feb, this happened.
I have seen many posts in various forums online about Wupdate having issues.
I am very surprised that MS has not resolved this issue or has a simple fix for correcting registry corruptions. ( being an MCSE from Win 2000 and NT )
The last system restore point is only a week old. I do have a system restore point from 8/10/2014.
If I use this older restore point, will it affect my apps and/or personal files?
Is the restore point just OS files?

Extensions option not available in Dreamweaver CC 2014 Windows menu

This seems pretty low level but it is causing a lot of frustration right now, and combined with other issues is not casting a favourable light on the extensions management workflow.
Has the option been removed?
Should I have installed it as an extension? (irony)
Instructional videos point me to it, but it is not there on my version. Dreamweaver and Extension Manager CC are both up to date according to my CC desktop App.
Also, when I connect to Exchange via Extension Manager CC, and select the extension manually, I am then informed that it has been acquired, with no further hint information as to what I should expect next. No download occurs, nothing shows up in extension manager, the extension does not appear in Dreamweaver. This seems a little odd, and, again, is a little frustrating.
Please can someone put me out of my misery here. There appears to be no logic or intuitive path available and searching for help has rendered nothing helpful. Sorry if I am being an idiot.

Right click on firefox at bottom bar no longer shows minimize all windows option

using 3.5.7 because the new version is a memory hog and had other unusual problems esp with flash - have not upgraded (FF, OS etc) anything but this option suddenly disappeared. using Win 7.

Audigy 2 NX all lights flashing, not function

For the past few days the audigy2nx has been playing up, ie randomly disconnecting from the PC and so on. Usually solved with nothing more than a restart. Tried to turn it on today though and nothing happened. None of the lights came on at all. Then all the lights started blinking about every 2 seconds. Pulling the power and reconnecting makes no difference.
Whats going on? Has this spat the dummy permanently?

I had the same problem come up a week ago. My audigy nx has run perfectly then suddenly this. But I followed the advice here, bought a new adaptor. It made the card work again, but I had to reinstall the MediaSource software, and now I can't get proper sound. Although MediaSource is loaded, there's no bar on my desktop and if I try to open it from Programs menu or My Computer nothing happens. It's all installed, but for some reason my pc no longer seems to acknowlege it.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, gone back to a former date on System Restore, but I just can't get it to function. Really frustrating, as the card appears to be functional, and until now its worked perfectly for 2 and a half years.
Can anyone help with this?

All render options not working

I'm working on a large project and all has been going well.... all of a sudden my render isn't working. It just gives me an instantaneous flash of the status bar and then nothing. I need to render some audio. I tried to add audio that has already been successfully rendered to see if that worked, and it does not. Basically, I can render nothing further.

Windows option not showing in startup disk

I have recently installed windows 8 on my MacBook Pro 10.8.3 but I am unable to see windows section in the startup disk... I want windows when I start my laptop. Pls help.

All buttons are not functioning!

The only thing that functions on my Curve is the trackball. I've taken the battery out and put back in, but that didn't do anything. Any suggestions????

Remove the battery and place the device in a warm place for a few days, such as on top of a warm piece of stereo or electronic equipment or place the device in a bag of uncooked rice. Give it a few days to dry out and then try it again.
