Consolidate Media does not do anything.

When I choose Consolidate Media it shows the options: Copy the Events (3.2 GB); Copy the clips (2.8 GB), and; Move the Events (3.2 GB). I've tried selecting all three. In all three cases nothing happens. I keep getting the same options.
By way of background, I'm running iMovie '11, version 9.0.8 (1778), OS X Version 10.8.2, on a late 2009 13" Macbook.
My goal is to transfer a working copy of a project to my 13" Macbook Pro Retina. The issue is I am not able to get the pictures and the music. I get the videos by selecting 'Copy projects and Events', but no music or pictures. Ultimately, that's the problem I'm trying to solve. I thought maybe that Consolidate Media would help, but maybe not.

First, you need an external drive attached. The external drive must be formatted as Mac OS Extended (journaled)
You must move the Project to the external drive first.
The File ConsolidateMedia command will move everything else to where the project is. If events and projects are already on the same drive, there is nothing to consolidate.
It works only on iMovie Events. If your video clips are stored in iPhoto, it will not move them. It will, however, move a copy of any photos to the external drive.

System Recovery media does not support the computer. HELP!!!

Ok problem here the recovery discs that were created do not work. And this is where I'm stuck.
First the details. It's a DV7-6163CL Laptop with windows 7. The discs were created shortly after we got the computer. The reason we have to try and recover the computer is hard drive #1 failed and failed hard. Hard drive was replaced. Now after trying to use the recovery discs we get the error message after a few windows loading screens in Recovery Manger.
"The system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this computer with the media."
Well Hp doesn't support his platform anymore due to its age.
Is there anything I can do next to formatting the computer and getting a new OS?

Many times this error is caused by missing info in BIOS. Can you enter BIOS-F10 at power on- and check for serial number,etc?
Sometimes a new hdd requires prepping with Cyberlink Utility cd first. Download and Save the file. Once download is complete, put a blank cd in your drive and click the file to create a boot cd. Boot with this cd and wait until you get a green check mark indicating hdd is ready. Remove the cd , insert first Recovery Disk and restart the laptop.

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar; stops all the tabs and does not do anything!

Firefox displays "Stopped" in the status bar after running for a few minutes. It does not do anything on the page unless it is killed by opening the task manager. Sometimes I even have to restart the computer. And if that also doesn't work that shut down using the power button. Others have reported similar issues too.

and I was suprised to get this exception:

I am wondering why this pattern would work for an Image but not for a Media class? Does e(fx)clipse provide this protocol for Image (and could this be extended for Media) or is this built into JavaFX?

No we are not doing anything special for Image which most likely uses
Java-Streams whereas the media stuff directly delegates to the native
code to fetch the stream from an URL. Looking at the code the only 2

It's happened to me before as well. Try holding both lock(top right) and home buttons simultaneously until u see a slight flash of wight then just reboot it normally. If that doesn't work try restoring your device from itunes

You need to go back to the person you bought it from. Sounds like they may have sold you phone that is not as described.

Changes made to system: Updated bios (I think).
Getting error messages (at system boot, as windows start, and from the intel hard drive controller) warning me to backup data and hard drive my fail.
I replaced the harddrive and inserted the first of my 4 recovery DVDs (created before I updated the bios). After booting from the first recovery disk I get the following message
"hp the system recovery media does not support this computer. You are not able to restore this system with the media"
The computer still boots with the old hard drive (with drive failure imminent messages) I do see support assistant offering another bios update but I did not install it with the hard drive problem

I think there could be two possible reason. wrong media or systemboard is changed.
did you create any recovery media yourself or you ordered the recovery media from hp? also, was there any systemboard replacement done before?
media created on some other computer (same model) may not work on your computer.

also once systemboard is replaced you need to get the configuration settings done for BIOS(only HP can do it).

The "Awesome Bar" is not working. It does not recall anything from the Bookmarks

Just updated to new Firefox. In the past, when I would start to type a site in the address bar firefox would complete it as it was already in my bookmarks. But now it does not do anything. It just sits there waiting for me to complete the address. I could start to type Netf and it automatically finish Netflix.com
Why is this happening. Also, for the first couple days of the new version I had to go back into Tools, Options and reset things at least 3 or 4 times before they would finally stay the way I wanted them.
I would tell it Never Remember History and after while I would look and it would say, Remember History. I wanted a Blank Start page, and it kept changing it. It's okay now but the Awesome Bar is not working at all.

Thanks i think I got it working of a fashion.
Except the replace colour, does not seem to end up with the colour I picked using the picker tool. Its as though it hads not replaced the colour but blended in the desired colour with the old incorrect colour!
Buy trial and error picking not the right colour but close - which when mixed with the existing colour is close.

The first time you try to open it, it could take a minute or so, but if you have waited 10 minutes and gotten nothing, then there is a problem.

IPhone 4 does not detect anything on Bluetooth

My iPhone 4 has appearantly a glitch in hardware...??? I turn on bluetooth and it can search for devices till the battery runs out and that's it. I don't think that this is a software error, as there are plenty of iP4's amongst my friends who don't experience this error with the same iOS version as I have.
ANything I can do about it, or I just have to return it to my seller and ask for repairs?

I can't pair it with anything, cause it just does not detect anything. Try to imagine... You go to settings--->bluetooth--->turn it ON and that is it! It starts the search and never finishes... The phone can search till the battery dies, but nothing. And I know that a friends iPhone can connect ot my cars bluetooth, but mine does not even find it. Finds nothing... NO apple gadgets, no other gadgets... It would be a success if it would find something and then the pairing would be a different issues, but if the search for a device never stops (not even to show that the iPhone can't find anything)...then I'm confused... and dissapointed..
