Consolidated Asset value report

Hi,
I am prparing the report for asset which needs following values on quarterly basis for all asset class
Opening Balance
Direct additions
Trnasfer from CWIP
Deletions if any
Closing Balance
I can get asst wise valuse in ANLC . But i want to know whether there is any table which give values on asset class basis or in total instead of going for each asset.

For getting values for report purpose use following programmes by using se38
RABEST01 op bal
RABEWG_ALV01 additions, deletions. You can give the asset transaction type to bifurcate the cwip, other purchase & deletions.

    When running the Fixed Asset Book report, the system shows every instance of an asset number. By that I mean that when and asset has changed locations the asset shows in the report in both locations with a value of zero in one location. This makes using this report for NBV reconciliations to the GL very difficult as I need to find ways of tracking and eliminating the duplicates before I can even begin.
    Is there a way to get the report to provide the data only in the current locations or is there a differant report I can use that provides a NBV at a period end broken out by cost and accumulated depreciation.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.

  • Error in Asset Transactions Report in ECC 6

    Hi Friends,
    We have upgraded from ECC 4.7 to ECC 6.0 in Nov 2007.
    In Asset Transactions Report (S_ALR_87012048) the Depreciation column is displaying Zero Values for individual line items after November 2007 (ie for Assets posted after Nov, 07).
    We posted the same to SAP and they are saying that since New Depreciation Calculation has been activated, Depreciation on Individual transactions will not be calculated.
    SAP has quoted the following note:
    As per note 965032 point 4d under the header 'No depreciations ontransactions' which states:-
    .... if you use the new depreciation calculation, the system no longer saves depreciations on transactions in the line items. Exceptions to this rule are - proportional value adjustments in the case of retirements or retirement transfers, since these must continue to be calculated at single transaction level.
    My questions are:
    1.Even after this the report with depreciation values as Zero can be grossly misleading (other reports are showing correct values).  Is it correct?
    2.If what SAP is saying is correct, then How is this New Depreciation calculated? If anybody has an idea, please explain...

    Can you please look in the /put/log directory and copy the error from the appropriate log file. You should find a log file with a name similar the to upgrade phase that is causing the error.

    Hi  in my asset acounting report i have to show Loss from asset retirement . in structure ANEPV the field is MINERL. in the standard report they are using logical dtaabse ADA and node ANEPV(report  RAABGA_ALV01) . i don't want to include the node in my report.Is there any FM showing the loss value or any other way to show this value .

  • Asset Transaction report in Document Currency

    Hi friends,
    We are using Asset Transaction report s_alr_87012039 or s_alr_87012048 to view the Asset line items. The report displays the values in Local Currency, we want to view the asset transaction values in Document Currency? is there any report available in SAP?

    Hi,
    All the AA reports will output the data based on the currencies that are used in the dep areas of asset master.
    In generak 01 area will have LC.
    If you want to see asset transactions in DOC curr, go to FBL3N for the asset related recon accounts and choose field like Amt in doc curr and Doc curr.
    Hope you have set line item display for your asset related recon accounts in FS00.

  • Creating Requisition for items, with no  "Inventory Asset Value"

    Is it possible to create the Internal Requisition for items for which inventory asset value flag is disabled.
    the requirement is that the item should be stockable, inventory, transactable but no asset value has to be calculated.
    If I disable the flag the cost manager is unable to update the cost price after receiving in store,
    and if there is no cost value then how can i create internal requisition.

    You are correct that the costing manager will not calculate the cost price if the flag is disabled, now the requirement is we want to take in the items through PO at central org and distribute to other org's where they can consume this item, and we want to track the quantity and also it should effect the accounts, and item should not present in inventory value report.
    Do we have any option for this scenario.

    I am Developing a Report for Asset Depriciation Details with fields -
    Asset no, Asset sno, Asset desc, Dep key, Plant, Cost  cntr, Asset class, ODep. start,  START BOOK VALUE, Depriciation, end book value & TRANS. ACQ. VALUE.
    In this, I am unable to find the two - START BOOK VALUE &  TRANS. ACQ. VALUE
    ( I have Depriciation Percentage, to count End book value)

  • FI-AA: table(-s) for the asset value

    Dear forum members,
    I need to find the table where I can get the asset value from!?
    The background is that I`m writing a report where I have to get the value of an asset. If it is higher then 0,00 then it has to do this and if it lower than 0,00 it has to do that and so on.
    It would be great if someone could help me with this matter, or at least give me an idea how to find that out.

    definitely table ANLC. You have to calculate the asset value as ANLC contains acquisition cost, accumulated depreciation, depr. of the actual year,...

    base your report on logical database ADA - like the majority of FI-AA standard repots - you get the asset value determination automatically by the logical database then.

  • Asset value adjustments.

    Hi Gurus,
    i have a problem in asset accounting.
    one of my user did GR wrongly so i need to transfer the asset vlaue to correct asset.
    the Gr was done in 2008 Dec.
    as the posting periods were already closed iam doing asset transfer in 2009.
    first i writeup the depreciation posted in 2008, then iam doing trnasfer by ABUMN, but when iam doing it system doing soem amount back posting to the previous accoutn as Adjustment amount.
    what exactly this amount is and i need to transfer the whole value wrongly posted to the first asset,but cant successful.
    Gr posted to asset X which is already in use.
    iam transfering the value to Y in 2009.
    but i need to tranfer around 4000
    and i did Writeup before doing the tranfer.
    but when doing ABUMN system posting to X from Y amoutn 200 as value adjustment which user dont want.
    Pls help me to resolve this issue.

    Raj understood the logic of value adjustment line. The values are posted in asset and acc dep GL's only in the new Cocd.
    But now how do we scrap the asset using abavn wherein the result should make asset a/c and acc. dep a/c zero. When we tested in QA to retire this asset via abavn, then the resulting entry was asset a/c Cr and BV of FA sold a/c Dr and the asset report shows asset value as Nil but the Acc dep A/c still shows the dep amt. So, obviously instead of debiting the Acc dep a/c in abavn it has debited to BV of FA sold A/c. Now, my problem is how to nullify these using Asset accounting functionalities. Since its post automatically accounts and recon accounts , so we cant post a manual JE.
    Looking forward for your advice.

  • Asset Acquisition Report(RAZUGA_ALV01)

    In asset acquisition report(RAZUGA_ALV01), we can get the field - Ordinary Depreciation(O.dep.) after changing the report layout. While using this report, I found the value of O. dep.(NAFAB) is different from the planned ordinary depreciation (NAFAP) in asset explore. It seems the data in field NAFAB not updated even though changing acquisition date. In AW01N, depreciation area 10(US tax books), the planned ordinary depreciation is not same as the EOrd.dep value in the lower part - Transactions.
    Who knows whether it is possible to keep field: NAFAB equal to NAFAP? and whether has the field O.dep of RAZUGA_ALV01 been abandoned after the activation of EA-FIN?

    I have a requirement to provide a report on De Installed Equipments from CRM and the asset value from ERP.
    I can get information like sevice order no, contract no , age of the equipment from the due data etc from CRM. Where as the Asset value of equipment is stored in ERP. I am not sure how to get this information.

    i am developing an asset retirement report.
    in that i want to get retirement revenue & ret. dep.
    so from which table i should pick these values.
    bcoz these values r in anlc, anea , anep tables.
    while picking ret dep what should i consider
    bcoz if i am considering dep area i am getting right values for some asset
    and wrong for others.
    plz guide me what should i do.
