Consolidation logic error..We are using BPC 7.5 NW SP7.

Hi Experts,
We are using BPC 7.5 NW SP7.
We are running the consolidation for 2011.NOVEMBER as a first month and there is no data for previous months except 2011.MAR. My financial year starts on 2011.APR.
When we are running consolidation using standard consolidation logic it is considering the 2011.MAR values for automatic data sources. it is considering automatic data source and F_999 AND F_100 flows.
After running the consolidation F_999 flow is becoming as F_100 AND agin F_999 is adding the present month F_999 flow values.
Example
acct1                auto1datasrc       2011.mar     f_999         100
After running standard consolidation logic in nov,
acct1                auto1datasrc       2011.NOV     f_100         100
acc1                auto1datasrc       2011.NOV     f_999         130   (100+30)...........[this is wrong, ideally we should have present mont value 30]
1. why is it considering previous year values
2. How to control restrict closeing bal not to add to current year closing balance.

Error when connecting to BPC for Office

Hi experts,
We are using BPC 7.5 MS SP06. We are in the following configuration :
Windows 7 - 64bits
.Net 4.5.2
Office 2010 - 32bits
When we launch the SAP BPC for Office (Excel) we receive the following error message :
The system cannot connect to the
(HTTP://servername) Application server. Verify that you have specified a valid
Application server name, or see if the Application server is unavailable at
this time.
Automation error
The system cannot find the file specified. (Assembly: OSoftComLibClient.dll, Object:OSoft.Consumers.Common.WebServiceCall50.WebServiceCall)
We try to register the dll by running a command
%systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32 <complete path to the OSoftComLibClient.dll>
without any success.
We also tried to copy the dll from another PC but it has failed the same way.
Please, be aware that we succeed in connecting with the same user from another machine with the following configuration:
Windows 7 - 32bits
Net 4.5.2
Office 2010 - 32bits

Error through F-44 that Consolidated companies 1000 and ' ' are different

Dear Expert
At the time of Vendor clearing through F-44 I get the
warning message that "Withholding tax information ignored"
where Withholding tax related customization and master has
been updated accordingly. If I ignore the same warning
and save the document as my all Debit and Credit transactions
are of equal amount ,i m getting the error that "Consolidated
companies 1000 and ' ' are different.
What specific setting is required for the same.

Hi,
If you are getting error F5 080 then most probably this is because one of the documents to be cleared contains a different trading partner (field BSEG-VBUND).
Please check the contents of each customer/vendor line item concerning this field. The field can be viewed on the customer/vendor line item via button 'more data'. If the contents is different you have either to clear the items individually or you have to change the settings of the document type used for clearing. You can find out what document type is used for clearing in OBXH in the 'transfer with postings section'. Afterwards you can go to OBA7 and mark the flags 'Inter-company postings' and 'Enter trading partner'.

BPC 7.0 MS Script-Logic problem: New values used, old values written?

I am trying to using BPC Script logic to update my Sales cube, specifically Revenue=Units*Price and Price=Revenue/Units using the "Price" stored in a seperate Price cube.
Inside default.lgl, I am *INCLUDE-ing my own script:
*LOOKUP PRICES
*DIM PREIS:ACCOUNT="Price"
*ENDLOOKUP
*WHEN ACCOUNT
*IS "Units"
*REC(FACTOR=LOOKUP(PREIS),ACCOUNT="Revenue")
*IS "Revenue"
*REC(EXPRESSION=%VALUE%/LOOKUP(PREIS),ACCOUNT="Units")
*ENDWHEN
*COMMIT
Now, when I insert new "Units" values using the std. Excel template, strange things happen:
- The Revenues seems to be computed and updated correctly in the cube (if I check them using excel templates, they show up).
- The Units seem to have the values they had before... seems they get old values ?!
E.g. if I have several write operations say, I write units=2,3,4 and price is constant 10,
the values in the cube seem to be (table):
value written, units in cube, revenue
3 , 2 , 30
4, 3 , 40
The new value is somewhere in the MS Analysis cube, otherwise, how could later be the new value be shown, although the excel templates seem to show old values?
Any explanation for that strange behaviour?

I simplified and wrote the prices in the same cube as I send the data from with the excel template.
I tried using:

If I enter revenue instead, seems that the 1st block is executed as well (why????!!!/how to avoid - I use *WHEN - what else should I do? ) which would explain the behaviour I get the old values for Units and Account again...

#Error & #Syntax when we are using merged dimension in BO4.1 SP3

We are using BO4.1 SP3 and Bex query as datasource.
When we are trying to take merged dimensions in Report block its giving #Syntax Error.
When we are defining variable with merged dimension, its giving #Error message and the merged dimension is deleted from the definition.
Please guide how can I use merged dimension.
Kindly let us know if there are some update required in the current BO version.

First things abt merge dimension is that merge is applicable only on dimension not on measures.
And other is dimension that are going to be merge should have same data type.
I think you should check these conditions then it will works.
Merge is nothing but full outer join between two data providers. It helps joining two result sets on webi level.
Kindly attach your screen shots so that it would be helpful.

Did you means that you use the Windows Azure Virtual Machine DNS name as the server name in the Reporting Server Web Services URL?
For example:

Problem starting Clustered server which are using VIP: Error while starti

Using coherence 3.6 , which comes with weblogic 10.3.5. We are using Clustered configuration , both clusters are supposed to start in VIPs.
But when starting those managed servers , getting the error:

This error should only occur if the JVM is unaware of a local network interface associated with this IP address. I know it is a silly suggestion but please confirm this IP shows up in the output from ifconfig. If it does, then this would appear to perhaps be a JVM bug which you might get around by manually specifying the packet sizes (see http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E24290_01/coh.371/e22837/appendix_operational.htm#BABHADGH) so that Coherence doesn't need to query he OS for the value.

It's pretty unlikely that a code issue (what that check compatibility is looking at) would cause your FTP to stop functioning. That compatibility tester is essentially outdated junk anyway. The 6 people left on the planet that still use IE6 won't mind if your site doesn't look right, nothing does to them.
It's not unusual for certain hosting companies, GoDaddy is a good example, to simply lose your FTP credentials after a server update, which would cause the FTP error you are seeing.
Check with your hosting company and verify your FTP settings are correct.

Secure zone - ERROR: The payment gateway that you are using does not support recurring payments

So I want to sell a product that is made up of 4 downloadable products. (Totalling ~ 200meg)
The only way I have found is to sell membership to a secure area where the files are linked.
When I create the secure zone, I want a one-time-fee, but the system says:
"ERROR: The payment gateway that you are using does not support recurring payments"

We'd better have a closer look at the keys to see what's going on.
Can you post a screenshot of the contents of the key you've been editing, please? Include all of the regedit screen, including the left-hand column. Save the screenshot to an image file, and insert the image file in a reply by clicking the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window.
