When you next have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.
If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Scroll back in the log to the time you noted above. Select any messages timestamped from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first. Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

When I have more than one tab open, if I click on a picture to view/enlarge, say eBay, and I click on the items photo to enlarge it, when the window opens to view the photo, Firefox crashes. I also notice while looking at a web page, the pinned tabs to the left of the bar are constantly reloading for some reason, The green circle starts going round and round for no reason even though the tab is not being viewed. Both problems seem to have started after the last software update.

  • Pen pressure sensitivity stops when I have more than one window open

I recently upgraded to Flash CC and have noticed some new bugs. Here's one of them:
When I have more than one document open at a time, my pen pressure sensitivity stops working. In fact, it seems to work on the newest opened document, but will stop working on any previosuly opened documents. If all but one document is closed, the pen pressure returns.
    I'm using Windows 8, and a Cintiq 21UX.
    Steps to reproduce:
    - Launch Flash.
    - Open a new document.
    - Select the "Brush" tool.
    - Toggle "Use pressure" in the tool bar.
    - Draw something to make sure the pen pressure is working.
    - Open a new document.
    - Draw something to make sure the pen pressure is working.
    - Return to the previous document and attempt to draw.
    - Notice how the pen pressure is absent.
Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

No problem.  I've been using older versions of Flash until CC gets the bugs squashed.  This pressure issue is a deal breaker for my coworkers and me, and also this audio one: http://forums.adobe.com/message/6013488?tstart=0

  • When I have more than one window open and close one firefox crashes

Closing any open window causes Firefox to crash.

Could be caused by Norton Confidential if you have crash report that involve coFFPlgn.dll.

My hard drive has 70.93 GB available, yet when i have more than one internet tab open, i have to force quit google chrome because 'there is no more available application memory'. How can I solve this? I have a 2009 macbook pro running on 10.6.8. I have tried updating to mavericks through the mac app store but after it downloading for a day i got an error message saying there was a problem with the download. The same thing happens if i try to update itunes or the mac app store. After research, i have also tried repairing disk permissions, but every time they do get repaired the 'repair' button still appears, i'm not sure if it's because it was unable to repair the initial problems or if it just keeps detecting new ones.

2 GBs is a minimum in which you can do many things, but not concurrently. Be very careful to not install third-party add-ons, limit the number of applications you choose to enter in Login Items, run as few applications concurrently as you demand.
I would consider adding more RAM to your computer. Your model supports 8 GBs, so I would install that.

  • When in safari how can i have more than one window open?? New ios doesnt allow it.

Problem is when i updated to the newest ios 7. The dang thing doesnt allow me to have more than one window open at any time. This only makes things repetitive, complicated and slow. Moreover, the icons and overall view are probably designed to be in a kindergarden game, cos they look really stupid on iPad, whos gonna take apple seriously with this so called "improvements". If anyone knows how to open more than one window at at atime i,ll be really grateful to be told. Or if anyone can tell me how to uninstall the friking update i,ll be even more grateful. Thanx guys.

  • How can I have more than one page open at a time?

I would like to have more than one page open at a time- not tabs, but whole pages. How can I do this? I want to be able to have the pages side by side, instead of having to switch back and forth.

  • Can you have more than one profile open at once in FF 4?

I'm having problems with Profiles but if I can't have more than one profile open at once then I guess that's why.

Thanks, but I just found out about Tab Groups and I think I'll stick with them as they seem to be designed to solve my problem in an economical way. If I'm wrong please let me know!

  • How to have more than one project open at a time

I can't seem to find a way to have more than one project window open at a time.
This would be sweet. Currently chopping down a 60 minute rehearsal record into separate tracks. Kind of a pain.
    TIA

Is that an iTunes question? Are you sure you posted in the correct forum.

  • Just bot a macbook pro to replace one of my pc's. can't figure out how to have more than one website open at a time like explorer. Is it possible to do?

I can't figure out how to open more than one website at a time like explorer does on a pc. would like to know if it Is possible or not.

Tabbed browsing is the way. Go to Safari's View menu:
and click "Show Tab Bar." When you see a link on another site you wish to open without closing the first site, simply right-click and select "Open Link in New Tab."

  • Can I have more than one library open at a time?

I have multiple libraries and would like an easier way than closing and opening each one. Also it doesn't say which itunes library is open - they are all just called itunes

No, you can only have one library open at a time and iTunes will always default to the last one opened unless you use the key combination to choose one. When you create a new library you can give it a name to identify it by.

  • Why won't firefox allow me to have more than one window open at a time?

Firefox will only open one window regardless of how I attempt to open another window. How is the remedied?
I updated to firefox 7.0 after this occurred but has not helped.
I have looked through the options and cannot find any options that will help.

Similar questions have been posted several times during the past year, but no one has posted back to confirm the cause of the problem. The most likely culprit is an add-on (or, if you have multiple displays, the window opening off-screen).
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

  • I would like to have more than one tab opened when I open Firefox. Is that possible? I've tried and I wasn't able to accomplish it.

I like when I open internet explorer and I've already have several tabs opened (e-mails, news, radio station). I've tried to do the same with your browser and I wasn't successful. Is it possible? How do I do it?

The home page can be set as a single page, or as a list of tabs to open. Take a look at [[how to set the home page]].
