Constantly stopings of oracle xe services..

Hi, i've been working with oracle xe for a long time in different windows xp systems and i have a lot of problmes with both servicexe and listenerxe services. The database starts ok when i installed it for 1 st time, then the user re-starts his pc from one day to another and that is the point when problems came up.
i usually go to the service module(control panel/administrative tools) to verify that services are started, but when i try to connect to the database the NO LISTENER error appears.... some times a simple re-starting action of service using lsnrctl stop/start (or service window) works but some times i have to re-start the pc or re-install xe.
2 times the problem wasn´t the listener service, the problem was the servicexe...it appears started..but any application reports SERVICE DOESN'T EXITS.
I really want some help ...actually i beg you for answers...

1. Configure HTTP Access
2. Configure the ORAWSV Servlet
3. created user 'test' and wrote simple procedure getdescription which will return name for request id.
4. granted all privilages to user.
5. The orawsv servlet automatically generates a WSDL file.
6. trying to call WS through Eclipse-indigo, but i get error.

Error while deploying adf application on oracle cloud service

hello, i hv registered oracle cloud service for java and database. i hv created simple adf application in which there are 2 jsf pages only linked together. I m using oracle jdeveloper 11gr2. so i hv created ear file for deployment on cloud. i deployed adf application on cloud using java console. But, after uploading application, deployment was failed. I tried 3 times this, but the result was same. I checked log, where i got 3 warnings in whitelist log and error in deploy log. Those are as follows:

I am using jdeveloper 11gr2, so pls dont tell me to use jdeveloper 11gr1. because, i hv already developed an application for my final year B.Tech and i cant migrate to previous release. So there is only one way for me by generating ear file and deploying from console.

In order to call out from the database process, is SQL (or PL/SQL) you need to generate some client code, that understand the details about the specific of the service you want to invoke and can produce the correct SOAP request. Once this proxy is uploaded in the Database, you can use it.
There is a set of Database Web services samples that should help you get started. You can also take a look at the developer's guide - see Developing a Web Service Client in the Database.

Confirming method to secure web services through oracle web service manager

I am just wondering about the method to secure web service through oracle web service manager.
I have a unsecure web service "helloworld" which is deployed on JWSDP1.6 toolkit.I want to secure it through oracle web service manager.
Inorder to secure this unsecure web service,I use gateway(web service manager for securing web service using message level security through certificate).
So when client want to access the helloworld service,it contacts the gateway securely and gateway intern connect to original web service after decrypting and verification of the signature.When gateway gets response from the web service,it signs the response message and then encrypt and passs on to the client.
So my question is,is it the right way to secure web service?

Install OEM 12c fails on "start oracle management service". win2008

Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SP1 x64
Oracle Database 11g release 11.2.0.3.0
I install OEM 12c(12.1.0.3) following this manual: Installing Enterprise Manager System
before start i've installed WebLogic Server 10.3.6 and aplied 2 patches specified in this manual
installation type is advanced, small, so i have created database from the appropriate template
i also installed cygwin and started ssh-service
the installation of OEM process fails on 73% "start oracle management service" with this message:

First of all with EM 12.1.0.x any version you are not required to install wls separately, we have single installer for em and wls. Is there any specific reason you installer wls separately?
Coming back to your issue: can you check
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istart oms completes successfully.
%OMS_HOME%\BIN>emctl istop oms completes successfully.
Also open an SR with Oracle support and share the number. We should debug such issue through SR so that we can share logs and come find a root cause.

Thanks for clarifying the requirement and passing this on. I believe that you cannot currently add new warning messages to Fusion HCM SaaS.
Adding a new validation and resulting pop-up message would require either (a) ADF adjustments in JDev and an app redeploy or (b) Application Composer to add an object trigger/groovy script. Obviously there is no backend development for Fusion SaaS and App Composer is available for CRM products currently. I couldn't find anyway the standard Page Composer could have the capability to add new validation logic to the UI.
As you already mentioned in the other thread, if a validation and FND message already exists at that point, the text can be customized via the Manage Messages page in the FSM task.

Error 500--Internal Server Error in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint

Hi,
I followed the instructions of "Setting Up the SPARQL Service" in the developer's guide. However, after I finished all the steps and click "Submit Query" button in Oracle SPARQL Service Endpoint using Joseki page, I got this error message:
Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
I can't figure out what's wrong with the service. Can anybody pls help me solve the problem? Thanks in advance.

Can't find package oracle.bpm.services.tools

Hi everyone~
I want to use class ProcessInstanceAuditHelper and class ProcessInstanceTaskHelper in my programe.
and these two classes is in package oracle.bpm.services.tools which is described in the http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/apirefs.1111/e25378/toc.htm.
I have already installed BPM suite correctly,and it works well.
I import all jar files(WLS_HOME\Oracle_SOA1\soa\modules) in my JDeveloper projects,but I still can't find them.
Please tell me where can I find the correctly jar file.Thanks!

Guessing you might hear from Oracle that the URL reference in your thread below is pointed to an the old version and that the classes are no longer supported.
As you know, this is not the case - the URL you have in your thread for the API is the latest for 11.1.1.6. Both classes you mention should be supported (at least according to the Javadoc) and in a recent search I was not able to find them either.
Might be worth a call to Oracle Support to either straighten out the Javadoc or get you a patch.

PDF files in Oracle Content Services?

Is it possible to create PDF files in Oracle Content Services? is there a facility to convert protected documents to .pdf files

We are currently working with Adobe on this requirement and have implemented a POC that allows you to submit a document to workflow in content DB (for example, during a check-in operation) and through a custom BPEL flow, submit to an Adobe LiveCycle server where the document gets turned into a PDF, has policy and digital signatures applied to it.
The current POC does more than just convert to PDF. it does the following to the original document:
1) Converts it to PDF
2) Inserts signature fields, so the PDF can be digitally signed later
3) Applies policy (applies E-DRM, e.g. the end user can view but not copy the text or print the PDF)
4) Certifies the document (Server applies digital certificate to signature field)
5) Reader extends the document (enables end user to digitally sign PDF and add comments with Adobe Reader)

How can I download report information present in Analytics tab of Oracle Cloud Service RightNow CX to a csv file? I need to automate this for daily run

I am working on a project where I need to download certain report data from RightNow Oracle Cloud Service to a csv file and process it into the warehouse. I have seen certain articles in Oracle stating about Dotnet API and PHP API but not sure if it can use them. Also I am not very confident with either Dotnet or PHP.
Is there any other approach that I can use to download the data, can it be done through curl?

DNS vs. Oracle Name Service vs. tnsnames.ora

Can anyone shed some light on this?
I heard that Oracle is going toward a DNS solution and going away from
tnsnames.ora and the Oracle Naming Service. Is this true?
We are looking to place a naming solution in our environment and I want to
know which direction to head in. Also, if possible, I would like users to
only see the databases they need to see, which is the main problem we have
right now using a global tnsnames.ora file. Limiting users' views to only
what they have a business need to see is an important step in many steps to
secure the environment. I don't see how this would be accomplished using
DNS.

Because of your sqlnet.ora (In the same directoty than the the tnsnames.ora).
In this parameter file, you find the "NAMES.DEFAULT_DOMAIN" (Default value = world) wich is used by Oracle to complete your input.
The default value "World" is also in the sample init/pfile as the default domain.
