Consulta SAP PORTAL Reportes ABM?

Gente alguien me puede ayudar con SAP Portal, no se donde visualizar los reportes de ABM de dicha aplicacion, por ejemplo el ABM de Grupos / Roles / Usuarios.

Una vez que accedes por los dos niveles de navegación superiores a "Gestión del Sistema --> Configuración del Sistema", despliegas el árbol del PCD (Portal Content Directory) y haces botón derecho sobre tu carpeta (si no tienes una, es recomendable que la generes y guardes en ella tus pruebas). Salen varias opciones. He indicado ésta, aunque también puedes realizar un desarrollo y guardarlo en fichero .PAR y subir dicho fichero.
En cuanto al informe tipo SUIM, has de utilizar alguna herramienta de administración, tipo Visual Administrator, desde el que puedes obtener informes muy completos tanto de actividad como de usuarios. Esta información se obtiene del servidor que soporta el Enterprise Portal y son herramientas para administración, de ahí que no estén disponibles desde el portal. He mirado los modelos de iview disponibles en el portal y creo que no hay ninguno que se ajuste a tus necesidades, pero puede intentar lo que te he comentado, utilizar una herramienta de administración y obtener los log e información necesarias directamente del servidor.

Iam creating an iview for publishin BW Reports in Enterprise Portal with the iview name SAP BW Report iview ,it asks for <b>BEx Web Application Query String</b> and <b>Application Parameters</b> and we are stuck over that.Do we need to create some standard templates for it and then connect them to reports .What should we enter under these parameters.Kindly revert back.
When we launch the SAPBWWebAppDesigner for template designing,an error message is displayed as mentioned below.Kindly please check that and the reason for its display.Do we need to make certain configurations for the Webapplication server for BW ,if any one has a document /guide available for that,kindly please revert back.

We are also not able to connect to the Web Application Server of BW directly by putting the url of the WAS into our browser.Are any extra configurations needed for that on the BW side for WEBAS.

Hello Rahul,
i guess you mean CRM Webclient UI - or do you mean SAP Portal?
In CRM70 webclient UI go to SPRO.
CRM->UI Framework->UI Framework Definition->Display SAP Netweaver BI Reports in SAP CRM.
Here you will find the complete documentation what you need to do.
A prerequisite is to define the RFC-Destinations in SM59 between CRM and BI.

How to show a crystal report in a SAP Portal?

I am trying to show a crystal report in SAP Portal. I did a crystal enterprise report iview, and in SAP portal I got this error when I trying to show it:
404 Missing Page
The page you requested is not available on this web server for one of the following reasons:
The address you typed may be inaccurate. For example, a character was missing. To correct this issue, double-check the address and make sure that it is spelled correctly.
If you clicked on a link or button, the web application that generates this link may be experiencing a temporary problem. Close and restart your browser and try the link again at a later time.
Then I test ce_url service, and got this error:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://portalsap:8002/sap/bw/sap-client=100_cmsname=ipmachinebo call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system BTP with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Thank you for your response,
I changed the 2 items, but I got this error when I executed the report in portal
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path /viewreport was requested
type Status report
message Invalid path /viewreport was requested
description The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (Invalid path /viewreport was requested).
And when I tested the ce_url service I got this error:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?

CALL WEBI Report from SAP Portal

You can call SAP portal from WebI Report...
insert blank cell in the report / or select the cell whaere do you want to in the report
and then Right click and select hyper link.
Enter the portal address
It will be opened in the same or new window based on your settings.
Target Window : New Window ..then it will open new window.

SAP PORTAL Time-Out Settings / BO iView Reports..?

We have created BO object-specific iView requests in SAP PORTAL based on Ingo's posting....
SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise & SAP Enterprise Portal - Part 3 of 4
Currently, just posting some small CR4E and Analysis for Office (*Design Studio will be added in a few months) report objects that are based on BW queries - and response time is a few seconds.
However, long-term as our BW grows - and the volume of data/periods expands we may see some reduction in the performance of these reports, and they make take a few-minutes to return data.
The SAP Portal team already have an issue with an ECC / T-Code report (*no Business Objects involved) which runs over 100 seconds - and hits a Portal time-out....and are wondering if we would hit the same issue if a CR4E within the Portal ran longer than 100 seconds...?
I think the answer is "NO", the Portal time-out would not apply in that scenario. My assumption is that in our solution-path, the Portal's 100 second time-out rule would ONLY apply to the process of the Portal invoking the iView request - and opening the frame for the CR4E content.
Once the frame is open - and the RPT / Prompt-Screen is loaded the Portal time-out is "happy".
After that iView -> BO frame is established....so, even if the CR4E & BW Query took more than 100 Seconds to return/display the data - the SAP Portal would not time-out - as all of that activity is actually taking place at the BOE Platform layer within the frame (and using the time-out settings at the BOE level).
Can anyone confirm that my assumptions are correct, or explain where the assumption is wrong..?

In our scenario, the SAP PORTAL has a 100 second time-out, but the Business Objects platform where the CR4E content is hosted has a 600 second time-out for "View on Demand" reporting.
When the SAP PORTAL opens the iView connection, it is opening the CR4E content in a frame on the Portal. Prompts are entered - and the RPT execution begins on the BOE platform.
There is a "spinning-wheel" displayed from the BOE platform, and if run in BO LaunchPad it could run for up to 600 seconds before a time-out occured.
When it is presented in SAP PORTAL via iView connection - does that "spinning-wheel" from BOE Platform provide enough of a "heartbeat" to let the PORTAL know not to drop the connection at 100 seconds....?
My reasoning is that SAP PORTAL should be opening the BOE content with the same rules that apply when the report is opening in the BO LaunchPad.
We are going to create a "SLOW" report in CR4E (*Lots of charts & sub-reports) to test/compare LaunchPad and Portal display of the same report.

How to Refer WebI Report in SAP Portal

I want to show one of the report created in Web Intelligence rich client in SAP portal. I have done the SSO part and imported the par files and changed the configuration in web.xml as per the documentation.
Now ! I have developed the report and it is available in my local machine in UserDocs folder. How can i refer this report in SAP portal now. What r the parameters i should provide ?
I have created the BO Iview in portal by selecting the BO Iview template, but couldn't understand what parameters to provide and how to refer my report which is there in my local machine.

I don't think you can federate WebI server with SAP portal.
You can use WebI report IDs and integrate with Portal.

Reports in KM SAP PORTAL

I have the problem with reports in SAP PORTAl, the path is
Content Managment --> Reports --> Resource Statistics.
I generate a reports with parameters that it asks for, I indicate since folders must
monitorear, but it doesn't give results to me. I need to activate something so that it works? Something in the System Administration?

Running a report (either by scheduling a periodic run or running it immediately) will generate an output file (XML file) with the results. When you click on the report name (Content Management --> Reports --> Resource Statistics), you should see the results of previous runs with the names that you gave those runs. If you didn't give a name, they will be called "untitled-xxxx-yy", where "xxxx-yy" is a timestamp of the time it was run.
Do you have those results?

BI portal VS SAP portal

Hello,
We are thinking about implementing the BI 7.0 and publishing some reports with it in Portal. Question is should we use the BI portal or SAP EP portal? We are already having SAP EP 7.0 installed and BI portal (with BI) is also installed.
For performance reason -- we should use the BI portal for report and links these reports in main SAP portal so user has one single point of to see the report from SAP EP.
My thoughts on performance on single source of (main) portal for BI and all the other stuff on main Portal should not be an issue because all the work for querying the reports will be done in BI server, Portal is only show the reports ? is this assumption is correct?
If we have two portal, as system admin we have to maintain two different portals,
What be the best approach (pro and cons) using the BI Portal VS SAP Portal?
