Firefox crashes when opened through the option "Safe Run for Websites" through Kaspersky Internet Security 2012

Safe Run for Websites in Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 is for browsing websites without the attack of phising sites from storing the date or key strokes. While accessing my online bank account through the said safe run, firefox crashes with an alert msg. by Kaspersky saying "could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features." How to solve this technical problem? If anybody has a solution, kindly send the same to my email ID : [email protected]

Kaspersky 2012 not compatible with Firefox 9 yet, can you also notify Kaspersky Techsupport and Kaspersky forum about this issue?

Seperate NT service for App server and Process Scheduler

Is it possible to create a separate NT service for App server and Process Schedule for the same environment? Everytime i need to shutdown either App Domain or Prcs Domain (not both) using service, it brings down both.
I could use psadmin but services run as a different user.
Please advise.

What PeopleTools release are you using? Off the top of my head, one strategy would be to use different PS_CFG_HOMEs for the App and the Process scheduler. The service points to the PS_CFG_HOME and reads the pswinsrv.cfg file to know what to start/stop. I'm not sure there is a way to override psntsrv and tell it to use a different config file, so you may need a different HOME. You could also create a script that wraps the service start/stop. It could edit/update the config file prior to stop/start and remove Process Scheduler from the config and then reinsert it later.
You could have a stop_app/start_app and stop_prcs/start_prcs script that would copy in specific versions of the pswinsrv.cfg file for what you want to do.

Is there any in build access security feature in apple tv? I am using this device as a service for my client and am afraid third party would cut in and display other contents.

I am planning to ofgfer the apple TV services for my client in a number of room. I know that apple TV could be set with different ID/label to differentiate them if I am, installing multiple device within the same wireless coverage SSID. However, how do I prevent intruders cutiing in with some other contents while my client is doing the presentation? For example in Room A, client A is doing the video opresentation vioa his Mac book Pro. there is always a possibility that some people with OS X Mountain Lion detect the device and decide to play a prank and start to push other contents to the Apple TV device in Room A. If the device could provide an authentication feature, there will actually resolve my concern. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks Richard

You say it could be intruders cutting in - same problem/solution as for any network I think. Access can be password protected or access limited via MAC address filtering. I'm not sure how Apple Tv works with a hidden SSID but that would be another option.
Airplay itself can be password protected through the airplay settings.
I'm not sure if Apple TV works with other authentication such as a password but maybe the manual will assist with this?

Guide to create service for rules (xlm and java)

It will be helpful to create step by step guide to cretae service for rules. I tried creating one but i guess it was based on xsd and not java ( it will help if someone tells us differnece), guide should consider fact that functional consultants are going to create service.

Service for Objects toolbox and PA30

Dear Gurus!
In PA30 main screen there is a button "Service for object". When I press "Display" and "Change" , and enter to PA30 subscreens, this button does not apper.

Hi ..
You are right it does not appear in the other screens. This icon is only configured at the SAPMP50A screen ( PA30 Main screen).
The reason is that the services are Generic not for specific infotypes in PA30.

Flash Player and Internet security warning Prompt

Hi All,
I have not put a flash player into a website before so i am not sure how exactly to do it correctly. I have just taken over a project that another individual did and it has a flash player in a sharepoint site. The problem is that after they put this on the site (which is on the home page) everyone gets the IE securtiy warning box asking if the want to view both secure and non secure items on the page.
I work in an environment such that I have no control over being able to set the security level in IE to mixed Mode, like i said having never done this before I am not sure just how this should have been put on the page but I am pretty sure that this piece of code is the offending part.

May be the sistem in your area is really busy. Can you wait few hours or contact them with a Message ?

How Do I Configure SSL for RAC Installation.

Experts,
Requesting your inputs on configuring SSL for my RAC environment.
- Oracle DB version is 11.2.0.2
- RAC is with two nodes.
- Two nodes are : rac1.oracle.com and rac2.oracle.com
- RAC setup has SCAN feature configured. SCAN FQDN : racscan.oracle.com
- All clients talk to RAC DB using SCAN feature as shown below.
client applications -> racscan.oracle.com ---> rac1.oracle.com
---> rac2.oracle.com
- tnsnames.ora file on both RAC instances has hostname as "racscan.oracle.com" instead of their individual phyiscal host names.
How do I configure SSL for RAC:
1. Do I need to generate certificate request for individual hostnames or only for SCAN hostname ?.
2. If I generate a certificate based on SCAN hostname, how does SSL work since SCAN hostname is not a phyiscal host name ?
3. What is recommended strategy for configuring SSL for RAC environment ?

The documentation on the creation of Oracle Wallets is not specific to RAC, and the RAC SCAN instructions for TCPS are very vague on the specific requirements for the certificates required in the wallets for proper operation. I too am struggling to get it to work. Does anyone have a more technical guide to the specific configuration of the certificates needed and what specific configuration file changes need to be made?
Also, the self signed documentation is getting REALLY old. Oracle, please stop giving instructions that demonstrate irresponsibility and show the proper method of certificate requesting and importing to wallets.

I see adds for software like Mac Cleaner all over the place. Should I have a Antivirus program on my Mac. I know it is neccessary on PC based equipment but I am not sure if I need it for Mac OS. Can someone help or offer a suggestion?

Mac OS X versions 10.6.7 and later have built-in detection of known Mac malware in downloaded files. The recognition database is automatically updated once a day; however, you shouldn't rely on it, because the attackers are always at least a day ahead of the defenders. In most cases, there’s no benefit from any other automated protection against malware.
The most effective defense against malware is your own intelligence. All known malware on the Internet that affects a fully-updated installation of Mac OS X 10.6 or later takes the form of trojans, which can only work if the victim is duped into running them. If you're smarter than the malware attacker thinks you are, you won't be duped. That means, primarily, that you never install software from an untrustworthy source. How do you know a source is untrustworthy?
Any website that prompts you to install a “codec,” “plug-in,” or “certificate” that comes from that same site, or an unknown site, merely in order to use the site, is untrustworthy.
A web operator who tells you that you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, or that you have won a prize in a contest you never entered, is trying to commit a crime with you as the victim.
“Cracked” versions of commercial software downloaded from a bittorrent are likely to be infected.
Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash Player, must be downloaded directly from the developer’s website. No intermediary is acceptable.
Disable Java (not JavaScript) in your web browser(s). Few websites have Java content nowadays, so you won’t be missing much. This setting is mandatory in Mac OS X 10.5.8 or earlier, because Java in those versions has bugs that make it unsafe to use on the Internet. Those bugs will probably never be fixed, because those older operating systems are no longer being maintained by Apple. Migrate to a newer version of the Mac OS as soon as you can.
Follow these guidelines, and you’ll be as safe from malware as you can reasonably be.
Never install any commercial "anti-virus" products for the Mac, as they all do more harm than good. If you need to be able to detect Windows malware in your files, use the free software ClamXav — nothing else.

My name is Benny. I want to install the remote start and alarm in My 2015 Toyota Highlander. before I make an appointment. I go to Bestbuy store and make sure it's compatible with the Viper Responder LC3 5706V 2-Way Remote Start and Security System. Bestbuy print out the document everything say is compatible with my vehicle. and then I make an Appointment on July 31, 2015, 01:00 PM 4 Hrs162 SANTILLI HWY EVERETT MA Confirmation Number: VRJF2718. it is the lady help me to install it. she say it take 4 to 5 hours to finish. I said I wait here at Bestbuy out there until finish installation. After more than 5 hours. I come in the Bestbuy mobile installation there. and the lady tell me my car is broke fuse link. The vehicle will not start. and also she said she did not touch anything. I ask why the fuse is broke if you did not touch anything. she said the fuse broke all the time. It is normal. My car less than 1400 miles. just like new. My all family use Toyota. 6 year never broke the engine fuse. She try to tell me the fuse link broke is not because the installation process. She try to tell is not her responsibility. She said already call Woburn Toyota repair on Monday. I m so worry about my car. I take the subway to Wellington station and walk to Bestbuy on the next day. and then she tell me the car has to tow to Woburn Toyota to repair. on August 4. I went to Bestbuy with my friends. We talk to the Geek Squad manager I think his name is Jason. He tell me the car can fix and pick up today about 1PM, I called Woburn Toyota and they tell me pick up my car. after pick up my car. I have to go back to Bestbuy finish the remaining installation because the viper already installed in my car. About 2:30PM. Tom said it take about 20 to 30 minutes to program the key. after Program the key. It has problem to start the engine. Sometime the engine start only a few seconds it shut it down. He don't know how to program the key, the key has the code has to match the car. Tom keep try and try to start the engine until the car battery is dead. and then use the jump starter to charge the battery. and keep try and try. I don't remember how many time he try to start the engine. it make me very scare. I ask Tom many time about the compatible. He said yes. about 6PM. I talk to the manager, I said do you think will tow my car again. He tell me to talk to Tom. I told Tom I have to use my car tomorrow for work. I paid to much for the cab. And then he take out the Vipers. Wednesday 4:40am in the morning. I drive for my job. I found out the automatic light is not on. it has other issue. The Auto switch is on, but the automatic light is not on. me and my friends went to Bestbuy again and talk to manager. First He said is not my responsibility. You already pick up the car. I m telling you. no one will know the automatic sensor will broke if not drive at night or dark place. I have my KDLINKS X1 FULL HD WIDE ANGLE CAR DASHBOARD CAMCORER WITH GPS install in my car. The installation day is July 31. All drive load recorded. July 31. I drive my friends to China town and get in the Tunnel and then go back to Bestbuy get in the tunnel again. It show the light automatic on. No any problem when I drop on Bestbuy. I have alot Evidence prove. No one touch my new car. Only Geek Squad. I lost money because the Viper Responder LC3 5706V already used. It can't return it. Also I lost time. wait long time in Bestbuy, 4 hours job it take 5 days. I have no car to use. I have to paid the cab for my job. I have to drive my car to Woburn Toyota to see what is broke on 08/7/2015. After 5 hours long wait. The Toyota said Tom forgot to connect the wire. They said the first time broke the big fuse link and tow to Toyota repair. It is the big problem. It broke because they start the engine more than hundred time. I know because I took the chair and wait inside the second time with Tom. He try to start my engine between 5 second. I know what is troubleshooting. but if you try to start the engine 3 time and not work. You will know is sometime wrong. You have to find out the problem and maybe get help. Not just keep try to start the engine on the remote. I tell Tom even you try thousand time. it could be the same. I know I complaint the first time when they broke my car big fuse. but please don't treat my car like that. I want to ask you. if you take your car there for installation. You wait there more than 5 hours and your new car is broke by them. and you have no car to use for your job. Are you happy about that. Second time he said only take 30 minutes to program the key. It take me wait there 5 hours. He forgot connect the wire. If you don't believe, you can call Woburn Toyota. Everyone know Bestbuy broke my 2015 Toyota Highlander. Bestbuy should reimburse my lost. I lost time and money. The Viper I can't return to other retail store because it used by your company. It fail to install and broke my car. I try to call Geek squad 18004335778 two times and talk to different people. they just hand up my phone after I tell my stories. They never give me the solution. and I know I post the message here may not helpful. I will keep try other way to tell my stories to other if Bestbuy not give me the solution.
