Consumption and Change in Inventory

Hello All,
We have some Consumption Accounts seperate for (ROH, FERT and HALB) and Also Some Change in Inventory Accounts seperate for (FERT, HALB and ROH) they are now P&L Accounts as well as Cost Elements.
Management now decides that they need to be in the Balacne Sheet since they are not reflecting the real Profit or Loss Based on the balances commin from them.
I know if Create new GL's in balance sheet and Change the Assignment in OBYC for these new balance sheet will this be ok or will it effect my production order costing  since the old GL's (Cost Elements are Part of my OKTZ)  and if i now use this BS accounts they cannot be created as Cost Elements.
The issue between us and the management is that when we see these intermediate accounts (Change in Inventory and Consumption accounts  when grouped together it is not giving us the ZERO Balance )
Can  any one help me out in this regards

    User is trying to transfer finished goods from one plant to another plant and the system is giving message that "Change in inventory a/c requires a CO assignment.."
    I want to know what is the accounting entry generated at the time of stock transfer from one plant to another plant ? (Whether 'change in inventory a/c' is updated ?)

    However, I find in the reply to the above link that no 'Change in inventory a/c' is mentioned in the accounting entry. The accounting entries as provided in the link is as follows:

    Stock Account Debited BSX
    GR/IR Clearing Acc Credited WRX

    Reversing Stock Postings Locate the document in its SAP Library structure
       1. Choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods receipt ® For purchase order ® PO number known.
    The initial screen for creating a goods receipt for a purchase order appears.
       2. In the field for the movement type, enter
       3. 102 (goods receipt for a purchase order into warehouse - reversal). In the field for the purchase order, enter the purchase order number for the original goods receipt.
    Note
    You can copy the purchase order number from the inspection lot.
       4. Choose Enter to display the selection screen for the purchase order items.
       5. Select the purchase order item for which you want to create the goods receipt and set the Stock type indicator to the stock to which the goods were originally posted with the usage decision (for example, F for unrestricted-use stock or S for blocked stock).
       6. Save the goods receipt and exit the Materials Management component.
       7. Choose Logistics ® Quality management ® Quality inspection ® Inspection lot ® Usage decision ® Change with history.
    The initial screen for changing a usage decision appears.
       8. Enter the number of the inspection lot for which you previously made the usage decision and choose Usage decision (UD).
       9. To cancel the inspection lot, choose Usage decision ® Functions ® Cancel lot in the usage decision screen.

    Hi Kiran,
    Aggregates are nothing but a subset of your Infocube... when a query is executed, it firstl looks for the presence of the data in your aggregates and if found then it fetches the reocrds from there itself.. Else not, it'll search teh entire infocube and then fetch the records which is at a high risk of time consumption and the performance of the Query execution slows down or becomes worse significantly.. for this purpose, you build aggregates.. how do you decide whether you should go for aggregates or not is based on the following criteria...
    if the %Data Base time is > 30% and if the KPI ratio (selected to transferred records) is > 10, then you go for the aggregates... you can get these details in the ST03N transaction by choosing Expert mode and selecting BI Workload... you can find all the statistics related to the Query execution starting from the front end time to db time/...
    thats all about your aggregates...
    Attribute or Hierarchy change run is done so that any changes to your Master data Attributes will have to get effected in terms of your reporting...
    say for eg.. ur name is XYZ and loc is in India.. this is how it'll be reflected in your reporting also.. but at a later point in time, if you have changed your location from India to Europe, then for that to be reflected in your reporting, you'll have to perform an Attribute change run for that Characteristic...

  • Consumption and goods issue

    Dear all,
    I see that consumption is cost element whereas goods issue is non cost element.
    In GBB transaction code, VAX is goods issue where VAY is consumption.
    May I know why there is a difference between consumption and goods issue? I read the post on vax and vay but from business view, why consumption can go to copa whereas goods issue cannot go to copa?

    Goods issue account(Inventory related account)  is balace sheet account normally we will not crate a balance sheet accounts as a cost element .

    These are just the links on this site - I found them all over the place at MacRumors, Apple Tips, Mac Help, etc.
    You can actually manage this in Automator.
    Here are the steps that worked for me:
    Create an Automator APPLICATION - not a workflow (this is due to the way that I'm batch converting images - workflows might be ok for some cases)
    Step 1 is Copy Finder Items
    My flow inserts an SD card, opens the DCIM folder that my Nikon creates, selecting the images that I click (command + click to multi-select) and once I have the photos highlighted, I drag them onto this Automator App we're creating.

    As a result - I want to copy the originals to my computer as step 1.  I don't touch the originals on the SD card (and cards are cheap so I tend to leave them on the cards as well)
    Step 2 is the Scale Images action - you can search the library for this and find it quickly.  For my part, I found that scaling images to about 38.8 percent of their size on the SD card is good for uploading to a blog.  Change this value to whatever you wish.
    Step 3 is Run Shell Script - and here is where we marry the brilliance found at this link with our script.If you have a hard time reading the text in the image, it is as follows:

    Save this application (I named mine "Format Photos")
    Place the application inside the target folder where you want the images to end up.  I do this because when I have the SD card window open, I can also open my "Photos" window and see my App sitting there.  I select my images as I mentioned and drag them on top of this app.  The app copies the originals and the conversions into the folder.
    NOTES: When you open a converted pic in Preview, you will see Resolution = 300 dpi if you go to Tools --> Adjust Size...  This reading is explained by another brilliant discussion as sips only touches the JFIF properties inside the file's MetaData.  However, if you look at the bottom of the Adjust Size... window, you'll see the image size is probably around 500 kb (give or take depending on the original).  My goal was to get the images down from the 3.0 MB I shoot at to around 500 kb.  Therefore even though the MetaData still thinks that it is 300 DPI according to Preview, it has been changed to 72 (open it in some other applications mentioned at the links and you'll find different readings - it all depends on what the application reads from the Meta).
    This does not rename the files, so you'll get DSC_1000.jpg and DSC_1000 copy.jpg in all likelihood.  If that annoys you, add a step into the Automator Application that renames the file after the "Run Shell Script" action has run, and you can have each file renamed according to some convention that you like.
    This took a heck of a lot longer than I expected - so I decided to put in the effort to share this with the community and save others the hassle. 

    PPI is pixels per inch of the image.  It is difficult to increase resolution as you are trying to add data that is not there.
    But for printing purposes what you want is dpi or dots per inch.
    The image processor either accessed from Bridge (tools/photoshp) or PS is a good way to change a batch of images.

    Did you change the email address or create a new Apple ID?
    If the email address associated with the account was merely changed, sign out of the Apple ID on the devices and sign in using the new credentials.

    How did they wipe it?  By using Find My iPad and performing a wipe?  If so, that means they have your icloud ID and password, not a good thing.
    You could try connecting it to iTunes and performing a restore from iCloud.  But if they changed password, then you are out of the loop.  How did they get your password in order to change it?

    Apple will not ask you to click a link in an email. They may tell you to log in to your account to reset your password. Go to https://appleid.apple.com and log in if you ever want to change any information in your profile (or your password). And do not click the link I just posted; instead enter it into a browser.
    You can verify the devices assigned to your account by going to https://icloud.com/find (again, don't click it), where you can see a list of devices registered to your Apple ID.
    As a general rule, you should never click a link in an email or forum post without verifying it first. You can see where it goes without clicking it in most email programs and browsers by hovering your mouse pointer over it. On an iPhone you can check where it goes by holding your finger on the link (rather than just tapping it).

  • Created and changed columns strategy in HtmlDb?

    I have two date columns on all my tables created and changed. Created is not null. The columns are maintained by database triggers. I would like for these two columns to be displayed but not changed in a form.
    I have tried different ways to do this:
    1) Text Field (Disabled, does not save state)
    Create works fine but updating gives an error because the created column can not be null.
    2) Text Field (Disabled, saves state)
    Create works fine but updating gives ORA-01821: date format not recognized. I use a format mask like this: DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS
    3) Date Picker (use application format mask)
    Works fine but it ignores my format mask and the user can now change the dates.
    Has anybody done this with success? Also it would be nice with a solution that does not involve a lot of code sine I have to do this lots of places :-)

    No, nothing will prevent the computer from going to sleep when you close its display except third-party hacks that are designed to do exactly that. I strongly advise against using any of those, as they may interfere with successful entry into clamshell mode (and they carry other downside risks as well). Just wait until the computer is asleep (with its sleep light pulsing), then press any key on the keyboard. It sounds as though your setup is working as it's designed to do.

    Unfortunatly the only way that you can get it off is to get the old user to input the password.  You may need to contact that old user and see if he can put the old password in.  hope this helps.
