Contact An Administrator Or Staff Member ???

Hi,
Can anyone please tell me how I can contact an administrator or whomever is in charge of these community help pages.
I can find no way to contact them in regard to a member of the administration staff here wrongly blocking me from posting on a forum I was participating in and wrongly accusing me of posting "Advertising", which he/ she then changed without giving evidence about this bogus claim they made to an even more ridiculous and bogus claim of it now suddenly being "inappropriate activities"...
I am very angry about these claims, actually lies being made about me by a member of the forums staff here and would like to know how I can make an official complaint against whomever is responsible over these lies and the blocking of my ability to post because of them.

I have to say I am totally 100% with Frank on this.
From my many years work as a designer and advertising professional I hardly believe that Frank's posted fix for the many many Safari users still wanting to use 5.0.6 and who for what ever reason, and it is a choice, deem to use OS10.5.8 and OS10.6.8 (Safari 5.1.10) constitutes a breach of advertising due to a link...
It was a valid and very needed fix that helped many when they could still see it. Frank took a great deal of time to look at this and come up with a solution for the many users that can't upgrade due to financial reasons, hardship or simply by choice. Would it matter if a user was re directed to google as they make that choice to do so?... why should this be seen as a valid and required issue to act on?
Terms and conditions are fine but how can one validate to remove anything they want on a discussion forum that is in essence a post helping people, really helping on an issue that has created some disruption for Apple Mac users as can be seen on forums all over the world. To remove the post for what ever reason (advertising infringement) because they own the site and to exercise a deletion smacks of a totalitarian aspect of governance over a discussion that was of benefit to many. How does this sit with Apple's promise to customers within Apple’s Brand Experience? Why not suggest a change/edit to Frank's post to fit in with 'requirements'... work with the customers and end users... help us... please?

It is sad that there are people still posting on the original thread that do not know the fix Frank has created as it has been removed... they are still saying what has happened regarding the search engine in question and scrabbling about for an answer and get a negative closed door... come on... how about some empathy for those that can't upgrade as is always the suggested reply... are legacy customers not due some respect and empathy on this?... All Apple users are created equal but some are more equal than others?
now ask why should Apple not wish the fix to be known? I cannot believe this is related to an advertising aspect... if not why not invite Frank to post his fix as he did on the google boards with images etc and actually support this but with the safety caveat that Apple cannot be held responsible for this fix... complete with safety clause...?
I really find it  disappointing... as a graphic designer since the early 70s and using Macs from day one as a professional designer I have lived and gone through many changes, even worked with all the third party programme developers as a beta tester and pulled my hair out at oddities and OS fixes and upgrades but always found Apple were really listening and I in turn resisted the agencies I worked for that were using PCs... now? I am not so sure as the thin end gets thinner....

    Ok, so far I have a basic query pulling the data from the staff table

Recently at the Apple Store in Vancouver an Apple staff reset my computer (erased everything and sent to iCloud to reset the iPad) and I hoped this would fix the problem. IPad Safari still crashes. Short of booking an appointment for taking it for repair to Apple technicians which will cost me money can anyone help me to fix this Safari crashing.

    You might have a 3rd party plugin that isn't compatible with Safari 4.0.4. Go here for help...

    If you are using a USB hub, try disconnecting and restarting with just your keyboard and mouse connected.
    From the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Empty Cache. When you are done with that...
    from the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari / Reset Safari. Select the top 5 buttons and click Reset.

    It contains fixes that might help. Then repair disk permissions.
    Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

    I am creating resultsource from central admin. If I create it from central admin it works fine. But if I am creating result source from power shell scripts it shows me following error message.

    Please provide more specific information about the issue. What type of content source you tried creating via powershell?
    Make sure you are using the approproate permission and search service application.

    Can I send a text to a "group" contact without selecting each individual member?  I have a group formed in my contacts, but I still have to select each member in that group to send a text or email from my phone.

    There are apps that allow you to address sms messages to groups (such as Speed Names: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/speed-names-contacts-groups/id285124918?mt=8), but not iMessages.  Perhaps this will change with a future iOS update.
    The only point of having them at the moment is to allow you to limit the view to only contacts belonging to a group, so that you can more easily add the individual members of the group.  But at the present time, you still have to add them individually.

    Hi everyone,
    it's probably just me but I have tried real hard to get a simple AnyConnect setup working in a lab environment on my ASA 5505 at home, without luck. When I connect with the AnyConnect client I get the error message "User not authorized for AnyConnect Client access, contact your administrator". I have searched for this error and tried some of the few solutions out there, but to no avail. I also updated the ASA from 8.4.4(1) to 9.1(1) and ASDM from 6.4(9) to 7.1(1) but still the same problem. The setup of the ASA is straight forward, directly connected to the Internet with a 10.0.1.0 / 24 subnet on the inside and an address pool of 10.0.2.0 / 24 to assign to the VPN clients. Please note that due to ISP restrictions, I'm using port 44455 instead of 443. I had AnyConnect working with the SSL portal, but IKEv2 IPsec is giving me a headache. I have stripped down certificate authentication which I had running before just to eliminate this as a potential cause of the issue. When running debugging, I do not get any error messages - the handshake completes successfully and the local authentication works fine as well.

    Hi experts,
    I am able to see the BI publisher as admin.But when i login with user it is giving the following error:
    Unauthorized Access: please contact the administrator.
    But analysis reports are working.only problem with BI publisher reports.any extra setting required for BI publisher reports
    for implementing the object level security ?

    Verify whether your userid is added in the developer group. Ask the person who has admin proviledges or tech Arch team.

  • Why am I getting this error message when trying email a PDF?Server Connection Error. Please verify that port 143 is available for connection on your machine or contact your administrator.

    My Inspector for my house sent me his report via PDF that I had to access from an online link. I downloaded it but cannot forward it in an email to my insurance company who is requiring a copy. I get this error report every time:
    Server Connection Error. Please verify that port 143 is available for connection on your machine or contact your administrator.
    I have no idea what this means. Can someone help? I really don't want to have to print and scan this beast but I've been messing with this for 2 days now and am out of ideas.

    After clicking in email link, I get the following message on Firefox page : " The application cannot proceed!

    The email asked to install the latest Adobe Flashplayer version to have it working. I installed it, also updated my plug-ins and checked in safe mode that the extensions were not the problem. I also deleted the cookies an cache. Nothing seems to be working so far. I have the lastest version of Firefox 8.0.1 as well as Roboform 7. I noticed that the latest Firefox version has (x86) tagged to it. Does it refers to an 86 bits because my computer uses 32 or 64 bits only. I tried also different browsers and the message kept appearing. How do I resolve this problem?

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    * Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

    the package to basic." and whether it can be turned off in Windows to prevent this message from appearing when installing certain programs that aren't WHQL certified. At first I thought it was the UAC control that generated this message but found out
    that it wasn't and then thought it was the DEP control and found out that it wasn't this either. I'm only seem to be getting this message when installing FileDirector Component Service Version 3 on a few of our workstations which is an add-on that allows file
    integration with Office and is part of FileDirector WinClient Version 3.

    P.S. I know of a way to bypass this message but would ideally not like to have the feature turned on and for the message not to be appear for non WHQL certified program installations in order to make non WHQL certified program installations in the future much

    You can try following options to disable this prompt, but we don't recommend you to do so since this feature helps you to protect your computer.
    Option 1: Run command as admin:
    bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
    Restart your computer to apply changes.
    Option 2: Disable in GPO:
    1.Type gpedit.msc in the Run dialog and press Enter.
    2.In the Group Policy Editor, navigate to User Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Driver Installation.
    3.Double-click on Code signing for device drivers in the right-side pane as shown above.
    4.In the windows that opens, choose Enabled. In the Options, choose Ignore as shown. Then click on the OK button to save the settings.
    Restart your computer to apply changes.

    Solution:
    For error 1, follow these instructions:
    a. Create a new domain account DOMAIN\myApp_Admin
    b. add DOMAIN\myApp_Admin to local admin group
    c. add DOMAIN\myApp_Admin to Farm Administrators group
       Central Admin site --> Site Settings --> People and groups
       Add DOMAIN\myApp_Admin
    For error 2 & 3, follow these instructions:
    1. Grant DOMAIN\myApp_Admin accont a sysadmin server role on SQL server
    2. Open SharePoint Power Shell and execute Add-SPShellAdmin <DOMAIN\myApp_Admin> command.
    3. Grant DOMAIN\myApp_Admin a db_owner rights to web application Content database that you would like to use for debugging SharePoint 2013 app.
    4. Make sure following roles are assigned for SharePoint_Config database
       SharePoint_Shell_Access
       SPDDataAccess
       public
    5. Make sure following roles are assigned for SharePoint_Content database
       db_owner
