Contact automatically being deleted

Can someone provide some insights as to why my BlackBerry Q10 contacts are constantly being deleted automatically? Not all of them but enough to cause issues. Example: phone # gets saved. A few days later, contact calls me and the # shows up but no contact name attached. I then search my contacts and the contact is no longer there! So weird.

That's my guess as well,but I'd really like the user to create a new contact and at the TOP of that screen, tell us where they are saving these contacts... "Local", "Sim", "Gmail", whatever.

My contact numbers are being deleted.

Ok, so one day i tried to use my iphone4 and ANY app worked.
I turned it off and when i turned it on, everything worked perfectly, but all my contact numbers were deleted.
I saved all of them again and two days after, the same thing happened.

Hi I have the orginal iPad ,,,and had software updates done on both iPhone & iPad ,one thing I noticed everytime I hook my iPad & iPhone up to iTunes update software or upgrades I seem to loose very important emails from both iPhone & iPad ,,,so that's one issue that apple could not explain causes ,,the other problem is recently this year I noticed that I will email my friends then a couple of weeks later go to email same friends email address are felted from my contacts ,this is happening a lot now ,,but not on iPhone only iPad ,any ideas ,,,I knew to forum so any help appreciated ,,,

Emails are not included with the backup for each device. If the account is an Exchange or IMAP account, all server stored mailboxes and the messages within remain on the server. If a POP account, if received messages remain on the server the messages will be re-downloaded. If no longer available on the server, this has nothing to do with updating the iPhone or iPad.
Are you syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer or over the air with an email account that supports syncing contacts over the air? Not a good idea to depend on a portable device alone for contacts. Although contacts are included with the backup for each device, so is a significant amount of other data. If something goes wrong with the device's backup in regards to this data and you aren't syncing contacts direct with a supported address book app on your computer or over the air with an email account that supports it, your contacts can be lost. Not to mention if either device or both devices are lost or stolen.

Is there any way to get contacts back after them being deleted form iCloud?

My dad recently asked me to update his phone, so I plugged it into my computer to do so. For some reason just doing that resulted in his settings to change to have iCloud contact sync on. This resulted in our contacts syncing so his would show up on my phone and mine on his. He went on to delete all of my contacts from his phone, not realizing they were also being deleted on iCloud (therefore from my phone as well). I don't even understand why my contacts were not saved on my phone in the first place but all transfered to iCloud, but now they are gone from there as well. I tried restoring my phone from a backup on my computer a few weeks ago, however, this just restored everything else except for the contacts. So what I'm asking if there is any way to get contacts back that were ONLY on iCloud (because apparently apple doesn't realize saving something to a single place on the cloud isn't a good backup) but now are deleted. Does iCloud save this sort of information even after it is deleted?

The contacts might be deleted from icloud.com, but if they were on your phone when you created your last backup, they can be restored from your backup by following the user tip. The backup is separate from the data you see on icloud.com.

Button "NEW " being deleted in Assignment Blocks of Contacts

Hi Experts,
This is the Scenario.
When we go to Contacts, there is an Assignment Block Relationships to Employees where Button "NEW" is being deleted(which was present earlier).
The same scenario is seen in Assignment Block Relationships to other Contacts also.
Please propose a solution to bring the NEW Button back.

The scenario is not difficult to resolve.But you must figure out if your business requires this or not.Possibly if the button is getting deleted due to some condition being executerd,you should check if the same condition is applicable to you.YOu should find out whihc view it is,by pressing F2 on the view in the UI. Goto that particular compoennet and view and then chekc out the following methods in the View IMPL class- DO_PREPARE_OUTPUT OR IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK=>GET_BUTTONS.One of these will contain the code where a table GT_Buttons or rt_buttons would be filled .This is an internal tabel which contains all the buttons to be displayed on the UI.Here you can check if the NEW button code is present or not,and do the needful by copying the code which brings about other buttons.

Contacts are being deleted by themselves on my iPhone 6+.

In the last few days, contacts are being deleted by themselvs. I didn't do anything that supose to cause any contact to be deleted.
What mught cause this problem?

IMessage not working properly, contacts being deleted?

Just today, my iMessages have become messed up. Instead of sending me an iMessage, O2 converted my friend's message into a text file, then emailed it to me (as she has an iPhone 4, I have an iPad 2). I have no idea why it did this - can anyone explain, and please Apple, will you fix iOS 5?!?
Secondly, my iMessage contacts keep being deleted. And let me make this clear - this is only the people I have contacted via iMessage, not people who I contact via email or are just in my contacts. I also have no idea why this has been happening, but it has been happening for about the past fortnight.
I have had multiple problems with iOS 5. Lagging home screens. Not recognising gestures properly (the added multitasking gestures). WiFi signal being dropped. Please Apple, sort this out! I love my iPad as a piece of hardware. Why can't you make some software that will do it justice?

When are what people going to do something about it? It certainly doesn't rule it out, but it doesn't seem to be a system-wide issue. In any case, you can and should report it to Apple directly here: http://www.apple.com/ca/support/contact/
In the mean time, have you tried the following?
Do a reset of your device. Press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the same time. This takes 10-15 seconds. Release the buttons only when you see the Apple logo appear.

You need to use separate iCloud accounts. This will mean that you can both have your own separate contracts and calendars and put an end to them being deleted by each other.
Whether or not you have a separate iTunes account, is up to you. If you have a separate iTunes accounts you will not be able to access the music, books, apps that have been purchased by the other. This may be exactly what you want, but it also means that you both may end up purchasing the same item.

Issue with emails being deleted from my Yahoo mail folders

Hi, I am experiencing an issue where emails are being deleted from my Yahoo mail folders when the weekly Sunday night purge of the Yahoo Trash folder is carried out by Yahoo. These are mails that have been moved from my inbox via the iphone mail app.
I have a similar problem with Outlook 2010 on my laptop but not with Outlook 2003 on my desktop.
When I move the emails from my inbox I have noticed that using Outlook 2003, the moved email is left in my inbox in "strikethrough" mode whereas on Outlook 2010 it is deleted from my inbox. I subsequently purge the marked email from my inbox in 2003.
I am able to see and access the emails in the folder I have moved them to until after midnight on Sunday when they dissappear. The emails moved via 2003 are ok and not lost.
Funnily enough when using an earlier version of the iphone mail app I remember that I could see emails in "strikethrough" mode in Outlook 2003 when they had been moved via the iPhone mail app but you don't see that now.
It feels like some sort of pointer issue to me ...... any ideas on how to stop this happening?.

This is now fixed !!!! I am not sure how though :-((
I reported the problem to Yahoo and in the process of them investigating the issue my sub-folders suddenly became invisible via my IMAP connection and then also were invisible on-line following a log out and a log in. After my initial panic, I contacted Yahoo who were able to restore my complete account. Since then, the problem has gone away.
I have been testing this for two weeks and all is working perfectly from whatever device I use to connect to my mail (IMAP or via my browser).

my old text messages are being deleted automatically but this seems to only happen with one contact. Has anyone experienced/fixed this?

If you had pop and now want to use imap you need to create another (new) email account in Mail.
When you start creating a new account, press the option key when you click the Continue button and you will be given the choice of creating the account for pop or imap.

Appointments being deleted on ipad

My appointments seem to be being deleted on a rolling month basis on ical on my ipad. I have appointments in January that are no longer there and it seems to be happening each time there is a new week, an old week gets deleted. Can you help pease?

Approx 700 Files being deleted from file server (server 2003) without permission

Hello,
We had a problem with files being deleted from our file server.
We lost approx. 700 files across approx. 40 directories from the file date codes between Nov. 30 2014 and Dec 3, 2014. All files before this date were not touch.
Our Dec. 1 backup had all of the files. Our Dec. 5 backup only have files before Sept. 1 2014 and after Dec. 3, 2014.
My question is how can this happen without going to each directory and sorted my date cade and delecting files from this date range.
Does anyone have any other ideals on how this could of happen?

Are my quesytions being deleted?

Hi,
I have posted couple of questions since yesterday. These are not generic questions.
However, if i try to see the updates, i get the message "Access to this place or content is restricted. If you think this is a mistake, please contact your administrator or the person who directed you here."
Are they being deleted? if so, why? if not, then what happened to them?

If I was a moderator, I'd say these are duplicates, in the wrong space (seems like an ABAP issue), you did not describe the problem clearly (why do these queries need to be optimized), you did not explain what you have tried yourself already to solve the problem.

Can I restore contacts from I tunes deleted by mistake

while having my new I Pad connected to the pc and while synconizing, some of my ontacts were deleted by mistake manually! However, the contacts were available on the IPhone but when I connected the IPhone to the computer, the same contacts were deleted from the IPhone!
Is there away to restore the I Tunes status to retrieve my missing (deleted) contacts?

Contact are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service. Do the contacts still exists in that application on the computer or the cloud service (i.e. iCloud, Gmail, Exchange)?
If they do not exist there, then there is nothing to restore.
If you have not been syncing them as designed, you can try restoring the device using a backup created prior to the contacts being deleted to see if that restores them.
