Contact Card Image - Including with new email

I know I am not going crazy.... I could swear there was a way from within Mail (not .Mac) to include you "main contact image" on all outgoing mail. Is that feature not included any longer? If it is, where is that setting buried?

If you look in your sent mailbox and select a message you should see your image smiling at you from the top right corner of the viewing pane. However, it is not included in the actual outgoing message, and I don't think it ever was. If you want to send an image with all your messages you will need to include it in your signature.

Here are the steps I have taken and the results:
Changed my Apple ID with new email address.
Changed my iCloud with above new email address.
NOW - Apple ID appears correct in AppStore Settings, iCloud and AppStore*
If I scroll to bottom of screen in *App Store/Featured, I can see that the Apple ID is my new email.
Upon “updating” Apple ID reflects OLD email.
Deleted accounts, re-added accounts.
Signed out and signed in with new UN/Email
Issue remains the same.

To migrate your data to a new iCloud account go to Settings>iCloud and turn off all synced data (contacts, calendars, etc.), when prompted choose to keep the data on your phone. After everything is set to off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. Next, create the new iCloud account on your phone and turn on syncing for contacts, calendars, etc again. If prompted, choose Merge. This will upload your data to the new iCloud account.

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

Trying to update my account with new email address.

My original account details I put in the wrong (non existent) email address.
Problem is appears I have since already setup a new account with new email address from my iphone.
Now verification emails are being sent to non existnet email address and I can't change itunes account on laptop.

Did you update your old iTunes account or create a new one ? If you updated the old one then try logging out of your account by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then you will need to continue to use the old account to download updates to its apps (or to redownload its content) - content is tied to the account that bought/downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account.

1) Is it a video clip? Something you recognize? To be clear, it's displaying at a point in your exported movie but doesn't appear at all in the sequence?
2) What are your sequence settings? Right-click your sequence and choose "Item Properties" to verify.

Update 2.0, is it included with new touches?

I was just wondering, because I want to know if I get an iPod touch, if I'll have to pay $10 for the update to install apps, etc. or if it is included with new devices.

Cant use purchased items on new computer with new email address

i bought a new laptop then changed isp from aol to bt then backed up my itunes from old laptop to disc ,tried to put music from discs onto new laptop with new email address and my purchased items are on itunes but cant use them as a message appears saying that i cant play music due to computer not being autherised but when i go to autherise computer in itunes the message your computer is autherised appears ......... please help

I have almost the exact same problem. I have a bunch of music, ringtones, TV shows, movies... stuff that I purchased that I can't authorize. All of these items were purchased with the same account I'm still using now. The difference is that I've changed my email address. I don't have the original email address from when I made those purchases and I'm unable to authorize them. I can see that when I view info on one of these purchases the "Account Name: " has my old email address... not my iTunes or Apple account. So, if I'm authorizing my iTunes using my new email none of these older purchases will work.
I'm really curious how to fix this. I've got quite a few purchases from years back that I'd like access to, but I can't authorize using my new email/iTunes or my old email (the one used for the original purchases).
Take a look at the info and tell me if you see "Account Name:" on one of your purchases. And is that associated to your old email address? There has to be a way to fix this or 'transfer' older purchases, especially if it's all under the same real 'account'.

Email alert to apple ID after sim card gets changed with new number

Hi , i would like to know that if i will get an email alert when my sim card gets changed with the new number, to the apple ID or email ID that i registered with Apple.

I would try a few things along the lines of:
Resetting the iPhone (not just shutting it down)
Going to Settings>Carrier> this refreshes the carrier list
Check to make sure it's on automatic or that the 3G AT&T network is selected
Turning Airplane mode on then off to try to kick start the phone and along the same vain Flicking 3G on and off in Settings>General>Network
Then a restore
Then contact AT&T, double check the SIM is 3G enabled, and even if it is still get a replacement SIM
If none of this worked i would then contact AppleCare or go in to see a genius at an Apple store cause maybe the 3G chipset is stuffed

Resetting BB ID with new email addres

I am trying to log into my BB ID to update my email address but have forgotten the password. I went to the 'reset password' option and filled in my details and it sent an email with instructions to reset my password to the email account linked to my BB ID. I no longer have access to this email account (hence why I wanted to update it to my new email addess)- is there another way I can reset my password?

That's the only way t reset your password, having the password reset sent to your existing email account owned by you is a security feature.
You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

Contact Card Images not working.

When I try to enter an image into a contact card, after I enter the image and edit it the way I want it to look, it automatically zooms and crops the image even more. Hard to explain, here's a screen capture of it in action:

Thanks William. Yea, I thought that the whole resizing the image down to a small thumbnail was automatically done when you choose and edit a photo. At least it has in the past. Previously you could choose a crazy big picture to start with if you wanted. Whatever ended up in the circle for the contact image would be auto-converted, almost like the image in the circle would become a screen-shot. Didn't matter what size it was before.
Your suggestion I bet will work, and thank you for that. However it seems to be more work than it should be. Why would you be able to choose from your iPhoto library? They are all going to be too big. I think there's something else going on here that has bugged up the way it used to work.

HT5625 Here's my story: I "signed out" of my account on my IPAD. Then I DID NOT hit "create a new ID" - I simply filled in the top information with new email and password (the ipads new owner) - this got all set up but now when it wants to update anything

because I will be moving and will be unable to use that address much longer...
now I am not yet sure I can update my own apps (will it ask for old email and password?)
on the given IPAD - with the new Apple ID and password it is asking for

recognize the password (i dont think it will recognize it when i upgrade as well!)

Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID under which they were purchased. If your friend wants to be able to manage apps on their device using their own Apple ID, they will need to delete all the apps purchased using your Apple ID and buy their own.
Hopefully, you just updated your own Apple ID with the new email and didn't make the mistake of creating a new Apple ID. If you created a new ID, stop using it now, don't buy anything using it and go back and update the ID under which you purchased your apps.

Updating image collection with new images

I have an image collection which works as a slideshow which can be paused/resumed. This works fine but my problem is that these images are going to change everyday but they will keep the same filename. Is there a way to get the collection to refresh itself
automatically or perhaps if there is a different way to do this rather than a collection? Something that grabs the image from file at run time rather than storing a copy locally which the collection seems to do.

If I understand you correctly, the app you're building will display images that are new everyday, but keep the same name. If this is correct, then to be able to do this you will need to work with a REST based source such as RSS or Facebook, for example.
The reason is that since we always fetch from these sources, displaying the data returned, and therefore any changes you make such as a new image or name will be pulled into Siena when we go grab the data. This is different from a source
like Excel where we take a snapshot and use with Siena. As you have observed, this snapshot will only get updated when you manually refresh from the backstage.

Linking Exportpdf account with new email

Exportpdf has changed since the last time I used it. It required me to verify my email, but the account I signed up with simply won't recognize emails from adobe. Try as I might, I just don't get them. So I signed in with another email, and I want to use the account I paid for.

If you are being prompted to verify the old address when you add it to your current ID, that's an indication that it was never previously associated with your current ID. In that case, the steps listed earlier will not work. You will instead have to provide the password for the old ID in order to turn off Find My iDevice so you can delete (sign out of) the old account.
Change your ID back to the way it was before you started. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account), choose Delete from My iPhone (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud) and provide your password when prompted.* Then go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
* If you don't know the password for the old ID or it isn't accepted, you'll have to reset the password as discussed here: iCloud: Change your iCloud password. If you are unable to reset the password yourself, contact the Apple account security team for your country and for assistance: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security.
