Contact changes address to wrong location every time

ok so input the address "655 W. Irving Park Rd. Chicago, IL" to maps.
the location is accurate.click the arrow and add to existing contact
add it to a contact the the contact is opened
I click on the address to show it on the maps
the same address is now displayed far southwest in the middle of a forest preserve!
Try it at home kids!
no idea how to fix this or who to tell.

Complain to Google... it's their mapping service.  I'd hope this would be fixed with iOS6 once Google Maps gets dumped.

    Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID.

You can also manage all permissions on the about:permissions page via the location bar.<br />
Use "All Sites" to set the defaults.
You can open about:xxxx pages via the location bar like you open a website.<br />
Firefox uses the about: protocol to access internal Firefox (setting) pages.

  • FM for changing address in functional location

    Hi all
I wanted to change address in functional locations in my report, but I don't know any function modul for this. I've found BAPI_FUNCLOC_CHANGE, but it's not possible to change address data with it. Normaly  it's done through IL02 transaction. I would be grateful for any help.
    BR

    Pete Atkin,
If you go to transaction IL02 and on tab Location you push pencil button, than on new window you can change some of address data but not all that are storred in ADRC table. For example you can change street name or city name, but there is no place that you could enter city code or street code. So if this is not possible to enter these values in this transaction it is not possible to run this transaction from report with BCD data so that street code and city code were changed in ADRC table.

  • FF 18.0.1 Hotmail Contacts and Cookies: Contacts don't load with "Ask Every Time" and "Allow Cookie". Loads fine with "Keep until they expire."

Everything was working fine under Win8Pro Release Preview and FF (17?)...
    Did full Win7Pro SP1 x64 install.
Installed FF 18.0.1, no add-ons; all defaults except turned on "do not track" and changed cookie handling as described:
Logging in to my Hotmail/Outlook.com account (MS upgraded me to Outlook.com in the middle of my troubleshooting) I can access my Hotmail People (Contacts) without difficulty.
I change FF Options -> Privacy -> "Keep cookies until" from "they expire" to "ask every time."
When I go to "Hotmail People", I click on "Allow" for every instance I'm asked to set or modify a cookie.
The content of the "People" page (the contacts themselves) never loads. I just get the "please wait" circling-dots.
I return to the Hotmail "Mail" page (which still works fine, except when addressing a message).
I change FF Options -> Privacy -> "Keep cookies until" from "ask every time" to "they expire."
When I go (back) to Hotmail People, the contacts load fine.
Shouldn't the two scenarios be the same? I prefer to manually handle cookie handling, so this feature is important to me.
    Thanks!
PS: With the exception of addressing in Mail; Mail, Calendar and SkyDrive all seem to work fine regardless of which cookie setting is used.

Additional information: I had SSL-only enabled in Hotmail, and SSL-only is required by Outlook.com.
I've done four captures using Fiddler v2.4.2.6.
Each capture starts at the Outlook.com Inbox, then the switch to the "People" page.
    1) Captured with cookies set "Until They Expire" (green)
    2) Captured with cookies set "Ask Me Every Time" and "Allow" (red)
    3) Same as (1)
    4) Same as (2)
I don't know Fiddler or HTML well enough to troubleshoot on my own.
If someone would like this file for troubleshooting, please let me know.
    Thanks.

  • Windows asks "Do you want the following program to make changes to this computer?" every time I start Firefox.

Neither my shortcuts nor my firefox.exe have Run As Administrator checked. And yet I get this prompt every time I start Firefox on my new laptop with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

unchecking "Run this program as an administrator" under the Compatibility tab in the properties of the program was my first guess....darn.
Ok I understand that this is only happening in Firefox. If you start it in safe mode does this still happen? This will tell you if its an add on or a changed configuration:[[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]]

  • Do you want to allow changes from firefox software updater every time I attempt to connect to the internet

Every time I attempt to connect to the internet I get a dialogue box that asks do you want to allow this programme to make changes? The publisher is Mozilla, and it also tells me that it relates to Firefox software updater. Never had this until about two hours ago! Also seemed to relate to a crash of McAffee, which happened at around the same time.. Don't know much about computers, but what I do know is that this has only just started... Help...???

  • I am constantly having to change my ID and password every time that I open up an application. I use this mini mac, and an I-pad for personal use and an I-pad for work. Any suggestions?

I constantly am asked to change my password and apple ID every time that I open up a different application. In fact the old ID keeps popping up as my ID. Any suggestions how I can get this fixed once and for all?

Please post the complete, verbatim text of the message, or a screenshot.

  • I click on Firefox Icon, window appears asking if OK to change Registry. This happens every time.

Every time I click on Firefox Icon, a window appears requesting if it is OK for Firefox to change Registry settings. If I click "yes" it then proceeds normally. If I click "no" it also proceeds normally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and find the same. I have the latest version 4-0-1.

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.<br />
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".<br />
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.<br />
    * Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected<br />
    * "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected<br />
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
If you can't make the changes then you need to start Windows Explorer as Administrator.

  • HT204407 Find my friends shows completely wrong adress every time I go to a specific place

Every time the phone goes to a certain adress it actuall shows it at an adress 2.4 hours away, every time but never has any other problem. Phone will be in a spot in eustis florida and the find my friends app always says it's on homer road in Jacksonville Florida which is almost 3 hours away.

Find my Friends uses Apples own map data. The same data as the Apple Maps app uses.

  • How do I stop the popup that tells me I entered the wrong MobileMe password? Since the day I entered the wrong one, every time I turn it on now, the notification pops up- even if I'm not trying to log into my Mobile Me account.

How do I stop an "invalid password" notification popup from popping up continually? From the first time I entered a  wrong Mobile Me password, even when I am not trying to access my account, it continually pops up over whatever I have on the screen. I can drag it down out of the way, but when I hit the "ok" button, in a few seconds, it pops back up again. Help, this is so annoying!

Try opening Keychain Access (found in /Applications/Utilities), then locate your MobileMe password there (it'll have the same name as your MobileMe username, and will have a MobileMe icon) and delete it.

  • Backgrounds on several pages keep changing in a different order every time the site is published.

Hello Adobe Team, i'd like to know how can i fix this situation: I just added a couple of things (only text) more to my website, after i downloaded the update, and now everytime l upload it back to my host, some of the several pages it has changes the backgrounds (pictures) with other backgrounds, and its always in different ways, i've tried several times and im not sure what could the problem be, im using muse as i used to do it before the update and now the website is a mess, keeps changing things that on the preview mode were ok.
    Thank you very much
    Octavio

Ok, if anybody is experiencing this problem, try to relink every picture, delete the "image" folder, and delete the images you had on the new "images" folder, make the adjustments you needed, save the site, then export it to HTML (this way all of the documentation on your site will be overwriten with the new adjustments you've made and previous data will not interfer with the new one), then upload it with your FTP, clean your browser cache, and enter to your site. This worked for me and now my website is running fine.

  • ITunes app window opens same location every time

    Just started doing this.
I move the window to Desktop 2 and quit.
Then when I reopen, it goes back to Desktop 1 in the same location it opened last time.
Isn’t this window info in the application .plist file?
Also, the Dock no longer has the option to set apps to open in a specific desktop.
-> Open app in current space/desktop option missing

    Maybe the alias is corrupt??

  • Can you please stop changing my default search engine every time you update Firefox?

I would like for the developers of Firefox to respect my settings. I have taken the time to set them and do not appreciate my default search engine changed by Mozilla when updates are automatically applied. Somewhere along the lines, Mozilla hopped in bed with Yahoo. I'm not in bed with Yahoo, please keep me out of the bedroom!!!!

Agree completely. Mozilla's reputation takes a hit from affiliation with Yahoo - this is one of the reasons I've stopped automatically accepting upgrades, no matter how many times a day mozilla pushes them at me with a pop-up message.

  • Why does my google keep asking if can use my current location  every time i use it, even if i say yes every time?

N.B. This is also happening on my iphone 4.

OK -Here's what worked for me.
    For iPhone:
On your iPhone or iPod, in your preferred browser, go to www.google.com, and sign in to your account (if you aren't already logged in).
Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select "Settings"
Under "Precise Location", select "Do not allow"
    Scroll to bottom, and "Save"
    For iPad:
On your iPad, in your preferred browser, go to www.google.com, and sign in to your account (if you aren't already logged in).
Click the "Settings" cog in the upper right corner, and choose "Search settings"
Select "Location" from the left sidebar
Under "Precise Location", select "No. Do not use..."
Select "Save" to save your preference.
When you do search for a specific location in google, it will use your general location, but there will be an option above it to "Use Specific Location" during that search, specifically. No need to leave it on all of the time!
This will eliminate the popups - at least it did for me! I have Private Browsing enabled, and no issues so far. Next time you log in to your settings, it will default back to allowing precise location, so keep an eye on that!
