Contact doesn´t work | E-Mail didn´t come in

Hi everyone,
the e-mail account which is registered to my muse account didn´t get the test-mail I sent through the contact widget.
The website is currently online via Business Catalyst.
I was wondering how I can check which mail account is connected to my muse website. Because I thought it is automatically the e-mail which is connected to the muse account..?
Best,
Pink

You can configure which email address the form sends to in the form widget UI.
Note that email make take up to an hour to be delivered...

  • Reply sometimes doesn't work in Mail 3.0

I upgraded to Leopard by doing an archive and install, and everything seem to be working great! However, the 'reply' function quite often doesn't work in Mail. If I quit and restart the program, then the reply is saved under "drafts", but doesn't contain any text - including the wording of the email I was trying to reply to. I get the following error-messages from the console:

    Thanks!

I've been having the same problem (though I haven't looked at the console yet to verify the same exact error).
There doesn't seem to be a situation that I can identify to cause the problem (i.e. waking from sleep mode), so it's difficult to reproduce consistently. The error seems to happen randomly. Last night I was getting the error every time I sent a single message. So I'd create and send a message, and then the next message I'd try to create or reply to, I couldn't. I'd have to quit Mail and start it again to gain functionality.
When I do have the problem where the compose window isn't created when replying, I also can not start a new message, note, or forward a message. Basically, no new windows can pop up besides the windows that are already there in Mail. When I quit mail, every window I tried to create by replying, making a new message, or forwarding, appears in the draft folder, just before the program closes. Then, the next time I open Mail all the windows appear that I tried to create, with no text in them. Very strange. Looks like this poster has a similar problem.

I'm curious if this is a bug, or something our machines just can't handle? I see that we all have very similarly spec'd PowerBooks.

  • Voice command for Contacts doesn't work after a re...

Voice command for Contacts doesn't work after a reboot or a contacts restore.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Backup contacts. Open Files > Backup & Restore > Select Contact for Backup Contents and select Back up now.
    2. Edit/save a contact, press and hold the call button, speak contacts name. The voice recognition works fine.
    3. Restore contacts. Open Files > Backup & Restore > Select Contact for Backup Contents and select Restore.
    4. Reboot phone when prompted.
    5. Press and hold the call button, speak contacts name. The voice recognition does not work.
    Work around:
    Edit and save each contact.
    Additional Information:
Social integration with contacts also does not work after a reboot. The facebook icon and "See what xxx is up to on Facebook" is not displayed. The same work around "Edit and save each contact" also applies. This occurs using the Nokia N8 and Nokia 808 Pureview.

I have my phone paired with my car, I can do everything except it does not recognize any of my contact names. If I try say a contact name, it says "not recognized" but if I say the contacts phone number, the name pops up onthe display in my car.
Has anyone had this issue, is there a setting I am missing in my phone?
    Hello,
This is not necessarily and issue with the phone. It could also be an issue with the car`s bluetooth software that is only limited to some functions like reading your contacts list, last calls, missed calls, etc. which is most likely the basic 2.0 version.
The Z30 has the 4.0 version that has a lot more communication capability but if the car`s bluetooth its a lower version, then you will not be able to take full advantage of it unless you upgrade the bluetooth software in your car. Call your dealer and inquire about the bluetooth software upgrade in your car

  • 1.3.5 update - lookup map from Contacts doesn't work for Sprint Nav or Google maps

Is anyone able to tap on a contact's address in order to launch Sprint Navigation? Or even Google Maps?  In my case, Google maps alway navigates to *my* address, not the contact's address I tapped on.
Worse, my Pre hangs on the Sprint Nav splash screen when choosing that option -- similar to what others are noticing. I copied this from another forum, as it describes my problem as well:
I updated Default Applications to launch Sprint Navigation for addresses. It certainly launches from an open Contact, but locks up on the splash screen. It never displays a map (nor anything else), and the menu doesn't function. Completely unresponsive. If I launch the app stand-alone, it works fine, so Sprint Navigation doesn't seem to be broken. It just doesn't work launching from a contact address.
I've switched the default app back and forth between Google Maps and Sprint Navigation, and did a couple restarts to no avail.

    Paul
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

Thanks for the feedback and link to confirm this issue.  I confirmed what the other fellow wrote on that thread:
if you already have Sprint Nav open, then click the address is goes fine.
I also "fixed" the issue in which Google maps loaded but always went to *my* location. I fixed this by exorcising the unofficial Google Latitude version of Maps from my Pre.I picked up this version by following a hyperlink to the beta Latitude a number of days ago, and ever since it had replaced the regular G Maps. I was able to clear Latitude off my device by pointing the browser to maps.google.com to reload the original flavor. After that, I am able to properly launch G Maps from a contact's address field.  Whew!

  • Gmail doesn't work with Mail

It's been long time that Gmail doesn't work properly with Mail application. I don't have 2-step-verification process, so I do not understand why. It happens with Hotmail as well.
    Mail says:
The Google IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable. If you continue, you might not be able to receive messages.
    Pleas, can anyone help me?

    HI,
These are my settings for Google STMP.
Port 587 using SSL and Password Authentication.
As mentioned before at Google I have no 2 Step verification set but I do have the Less Secure app setting set.

  • My lock button doesn't work. It didn't break, it just stopped working

Ok. So apparently during a workout outside, my brand new, month old iPhone 4S decides it wants to workout too. So I brought it to my workout, put it in a backpack, and set the bag down as I normally do. The dew on the grass that morning apparently casused enough condensation to trigger my litmus paper, and now my brnad new iPhone has no warranty, hence my question here. I have been searching for a week or 2 now on information for this, and can find nothing. Apple will do nothing but tellme they can replace the phone for $200 but then won't wanswer questions about the issue itself, and I seem to be the only iPhone owner in the world with this problem, so it's nowhere on the intarwebz.
So my lock button, up top, on the shoulder, stopped working. It didn't break, it didn't get stuck down, it just stopped working. Like, the screen flashed (go to wake the phone up, it didn't wake up, so I pressed the button again, and it flashed on and then off again real quick, like normally would). Hit it again, nothing. Hit the Home button, woke up. Played with phone, etc, went to put to sleep...... nothing. Hit the button multiple times, nothing. Button still clicks down and functions as the button itself should, but no sleep or wake. The button only actually does what it's supposed to do when I hard reset, or the phone is off and I'm turning it on. I can't take a screenshoot of the phone, and every now and then my phone will be just sitting on the table or wherever, and it will wake up, the "Slide to Close" bar pops up, and then 15 seconds later, goes back to bed.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and what should I look at fixing inside? I have not taken this one apart yet as I don't have the tools anymore, waiting on them to get here, but I figure Apple has screwed me on my warranty, so I'm just going to fix it myself. Never had this specific issue before, so I'm not really sure what the **** is messed up until I can take a look inside. Any help until then would be wonderful. Sorry for the long back story, and thanks for looking.

Your problem is rare from the symptoms you describe. Most lose the click function, yours still has it. Yours functions sporadically or only for certain functions. Maybe it is liquid damage causing this. Maybe it will dry and be OK.
While waiting for your Pentalobe Screwdriver, try a Firmware Restore with iTunes. See if this helps. If you still decide to procede, the first step inside should be to carefully disconnect the battery at its connector. Also all the screws inside are different sizes, except for some of the Screen screws, so keep them well sorted.

  • "Add link" doesn't work in Mail 7.1

When I copy and paste a URL into a Mail message, then select it and Add Link (command+K), then passte the URL into the resulting text box, the disabled "OK" button, should become enabled, but  doesn't.
I've used this feature many many times over the years. Why doesn't it work anymore in 10.9.1?

Not sure why you need to copy a URL into a mail message and also use the Add link feature. Although the URL pasted directly into a mail message doesn't appear to be clickable in the message being composed, it will be clickable by the recipient. You can test this by sending a message to yourself, but it's also apparent looking at a message with a link in the Sent mailbox.
The Add link feature is useful when you want to create a clickable hyperlink from text in a mail message, so that the URL itself doesn't appear in the message.

  • Syncing with Google Contacts doesn't work anymore

    Hey everyone,
my iPhone 3g recently stopped syncing with Google Contacts (I can't exactly say since when, but approximately since one week). Before, it worked perfectly fine for the roundabout 2 months i have my iPhone now. iTunes is up to date, as is my iPhone software. Also, i didn't change my Google Password or anything. iTunes also - while syncing my iPhone - tells me for a few seconds it's syncing, but nothing seems to happen. What shall i do?
    David

This probably means that you are using iWeb 08 or iWeb 2 and you are correct that this will not run on the latest software, however iWeb 09 or 3 will, so if you want it to work, you will have to purchase iWeb 09, contained in either iLife 11 or iLife 09 via Amazon.
No, of course you won't find iWeb for sale in the App store because as this thread has been telling you, both it and MobileMe have not existed for at least that last 2 years and Apple withdrew support for iWeb sometime ago along with MobileMe, which has now become iCloud.
If you want iWeb 09, you will have to purchase it from Amazon - this is the only way that you can get it, but now might be a good time to move on and use some software that is both sold and supported such as EverWeb.  Take a look at it.  It is designed to be like iWeb but you can do a lot more.

  • Assigning text tone to particular contact doesn't work on my Mac

I have been trying to assign text tones to particular contacts in Yosemite by clicking the drop-down while editing my contacts in the Contacts app and choosing the text tone, but it doesn't seem to work. Every time a message comes in from those contacts, it always uses the default alert that is set in the Messages app. What's going on? Is it a bug or something?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • I have an AT&T Email Account that doesn't work with Mail for Lion

I've had this email account with AT&T for a few years and it has worked with Mac Mail with no difficulty for a few years. Recently the account has been able to receive messages. Every time I hit Get Mail it asks for a password. I have installed all the latest updates through Software Update. I have a Mac Mini with OS Lion. After struggling for awhile, my inbox eventually comes in. I have reset all the incoming and outgoing POP Server accounts, as well as used the Webmail version through Yahoo.com and it all works fine. What is going on and how can I continue to use this program.

Go to the AT&T support site and verify that you have setup Mail with the correct confuguration, i.e., ports, server names, etc. Otherwise, you haven't provided enough details to be of much assistance.
Rcommend that you get a .me account and start using IMAP email in lieu of POP3. You can then configure your existing AT&T account to forward all email to your .me account.

  • Email Certificates doesn't work in mail

I've installed a personal email certificate from thawte. It showed up in my Keychain but Mail doesn't seem to recognize it. I can't sign/encrypt messages without it. I'm running leopard Mail 3.0 with gmail IMAP. Can anybody shed some light on this?
    Thanks

To be honest, I don't remember exactly what I did. Hopefully some of this might help:
The cert request was generated using Safari 3.0. It was a new certificate (not one ported over from Tiger) and the Leopard install was fresh (not an upgrade). After retrieving the cert, I backed it up (both public and private keys).
At this point, I don't remember if I moved the certs to the Login keychain, or if I removed them and double-clicked on the backup (which prompts for the keychain to use).

  • Attach file command doesn't work on Mail? Can only drag into message.

Paper clip does not work. Message Attach file does not work. Can only attach a file by dragging it into a new message.

I just checked this and it works fine for me.  Do you have any Mail plugins you're using?  If you open the Console application (in /Applications/Utilities) and search for "Mail" do you see any warning messages?
