Contact for accounts and account Sites-Diffrence

HI,
I want your help in understanding the difference between
a. when a contact is associated at the account level to
b. when a contact is associated at an account site level in TCA.
What is the difference between the two? Will the site level contact have only site specific access. If so what what are the restrictions? I am just basically trying to understand the implication of the two cases. Any help would be really appreciated.
Also can we have a contact associated at a Party site level(or is it always account site)?

Hi,
An Account Site Contact is a contact for an Account doing operations only at a particular site.
and can do transactions using that site only (not always). I think even the Sales Order Form, Defaults the Site when you select a Account Site Contact.
Whereas Account Contact can do operations for the Account at various account sites.
Technically hz_cust_account_roles stores the Account Contact details , and if cust_acct_site_id is populated it signifies its a account site contact.
An Org Contact (Party layer) can also be created at a Party Site level.

Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID, restart the iPad and then start all over again?
Go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID. Tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go back to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID. Sign in again. Then go to Settings>FaceTime>On. See if it will stay turned on and it it does, sign in and setup.

Installed At site usage (business purpose) for account site

Hi All,
While defining a Business Purpose for a new account site in Oracle Apps R12, I can see a value "Installed At" in the Purpose LOV (previously referred to as site usage in 11i). Can someone please help me understand if choosing "Installed At" has any significance in driving downstream transactions (for example, in Order Management to drive installed at location in Installed Base)? Or is it for some future use that is not yet known?

Only showing contacts for required (and / or optional) attendees on appointment

Hi,
Is there any, supported, way to only show contacts when you do the lookup on required attendees on appointment. As it is now it starts with accounts which rarely are a meeting participant at least in our customer's case. It would be nice to get the contact
view as the first choise when you open the lookup and to have contacts for the first ten that shows in the gui (which imho is pretty useless anyway, what are the odds that the ten shown out of 35000 contacts are the correct ones?)

I know it's unsupported but I checked the Xrm library and I don't think you can do this in a supported way.
This link also provides a solution. I looked for a supported way on Google, but didn't find one. If you want to search just look for the words 'change view default entity partylist...' (required attendees is an attribute of type partylist).
If you find one (but I think you wouldn't) , tell me :D

We have the following design at the moment:
Headquarter
- Network 192.168.49.0 /24
- WLC 4402 Version 4.2.61.0

- Windows PDC with Active Directory, DHCP Server and local Data Storage
- ACS Version 3.2 for TACACS and RADIUS authentication --> External DB to Active Directory
Remote Site
- Network 192.168.50.0 /24
- 2 x LAP1252
-- SSID wep
-- SSID wpa
- Windows PDC with Active Directory, DHCP Server and local Data Storage
- ACS Version 3.2 for TACACS and RADIUS authentication --> External DB to Active Directory
Connection between Headquarter and Remote Site
- 2 Mbit ADSL
The problem is, that the wireless clients on the remote site get an ip address out of the headquarter DHCP Range 192.168.49.0 /24. The users on the remote site
most of the time only use the local data server in the remote office. With the actual design the hole traffic is switched over the 2 Mbit ADSL connection the the
WLC in the headquarter and back to the remote site. That works but it is not that performant.
The problem could be solved with HREAP, but what I think is, that it is not possible to have the same SSID at headquarter and remote site with different VLANs.
How can I achieve, that the clients on the remote site connect to the same SSID (wep or wpa), get an ip address from the remote site DHCP server (192.168.50.0)
and the traffic is switched localy.

Yes, putting the remote AP's in HREAP mode will allow the same WLANs to be available on the AP's but the traffic would be locally switched at the AP instead of being tunneled back to the controller. After you put the AP in HREAP mode you then would configure which VLAN you want traffic for each WLAN to be dumped onto for that AP.

Okay I found the solution.

Repeat Run --3. Create a physical location with customer account site level Address (ie, Specific contact address details). Note down x_location_id value
GET "x_party_id: " from "--8. Create a relation cont-org using party_id from step 7 and party_id from step 2"
Now Run "--4. Create a party site using party_id from step 2 and location_id from step 3" passing "x_party_id" from Step 8 & x_location_id from Step 3
Commit the changes and you will able to populate the account site specific contact person details

Any way to put alot of addresses in one contact for a group e-mail?

Any way to put alot of addresses in one group contact to send to many people at once. Want to be able to click one contact name, say "Club Members" and the e-mail go to all of them at once.

You make separate contact for each and put them all in one group. Then, type the group name into the To box.

I cannot activate the colour change for "Visited" and "Unvisited" links

I've been to Firefox "Tools" and specified the colors for "Visited" and "Unvisited" sites but it doesn't happen. What am I doing wrong?

* Make sure that the History is set to at least 1 day: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: "Remember visited pages for at least"

* To see History and Cookie settings in Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history"
