Contact Form Issues When Email Received.

Using the standard detailed contact form widget by Adobe, I added a few extra input boxes, I then moved them around so that the 'message' box was at the bottom. When testing the contact form the input from the 'message' box was in the middle with the extra info below it. Obviously this will be unacceptable for clients to get this. so is there a way to fix this?
An example if I have not explained it properly.
What my website says:
Name:
Phone Number:
Email:
Website:
Budget:
Message:
What the email i receive says:
Name
Phone Number:
Email:
Message:
Website:
Budget:
Thanks in advance for any support!

Notification would include the box fields in list as they were created , means website and budget field are created after message field so they would be down on the menu.
Example : Fields created in Form
Field 1
Field 2
Field 3
- Rearranged the fields :
Field 3
Field 1
Field 2
Form notification will follow the default hierarchy :
Field 1
Field 2
Field 3
You would need to delete message field , create website and budget field and then create message filed if you want message filed to be included as last data field in notification email.
Thanks,
Sanjit

    What that means is the host that the mail was sent to has flagged the sending domain as Spam. The recipient would have to contact their provider to be removed from the spam list. That isn't a Muse issue so you would have to contact your hosting provider to have this fixed.

    You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

  • Contact form error when hotmail email address is used...

    I need urgent assistance with this please...
    We design websites for our members of our training business and we have been contacted by several of our members saying that when a potential client fills in the contact form and uses a hotmail account in the email field, then no notifications are received from our members. This is a huge inconvienience as we have no control over what email account our potential clients use. The "email to" field is set to our members own personal email accounts and they receive all completed forms as long as the potential client does not use a hotmail account in the email field.
    Please help as this is a massive bug and it seems many have this problem.

    After many support conversations from Adobe, they have said this is a server issue which 3rd party who hosts our sites.  But...
    Further 2 days worth of tests from our hosting and domain providers 'Heart Internet', their experts have said -
    "Thanks for your patience.
    We've been testing this for you and it appears that the hotmail, yahoo and AOL emails aren't arriving because of an error in the form.
    The form would need to be told that it needs to accept these emails by specifying them in the script. Unfortunately as coding is outside of our support, the support we can offer is limited."
    Really angry that Adobe had said it isn't an issue with Muse and yet to solve this problem. This is a huge problem if no forms will be submitted if the email field contains 'hotmail' 'AOL' or 'Yahoo' email addresses.
    In my eyes this is a nice ploy to get people signing up with Business Catalyst - which doesnt offer what we need from web hosting.
    Very disgruntled!

  • I emailed a PDF form and when the receiver opens it, the document has errors on it. How do I fix this problem?

    I emailed a PDF file and when the receiver opened it there were errors in the file. Words on the document appeared different and weren't what they were supposed to be. How do I fix this problem?

    What did the errors say? Can you post a copy of the pdf so we can test out. The presets embed the font, but might be a unicode issue, or one of the few fonts which are copyrighted and do not allow embedding.
    What application was the pdf was created from, what settings were used, and if you can outline the fonts. What font or font(s) are the ones reflowing?

  • New Domain Names and Contact Form Issue

    Hello all,
    I'm working for a client who is using one of the newer domain name extensions. It reads like this: www.COMPANYNAME.farm
    The .farm is a new extension.
    On my contact form I use the e-mail address [email protected]
    The e-mails are never sent through. You can submit a form, it says it sends successfully, but the e-mail is never received.
    Any ideas if adobe muse has troubles with the new 'non-standard' domain extensions?
    Any other solutions?
    Thanks,
    Jonney

    Sounds like you are hosting on GoDaddy? If so, there are plenty of threads on here with the same problem.
    Generally what you need to do is create a dummy hotmail address and list it first. [email protected], [email protected] and that will likely fix your problem. Kind of a crazy work around but that is a GoDaddy issue (if in fact you are hosting with GoDaddy).

  • Starting BPEL when email received - Oracle 11g

    I'm trying to start a BPEL Process with the reception of an email.
    - I'm working with Oracle 11g
    - Usermessagingserver is installed and configured to the correct server and it's working, at least it shows received emails and it's able to send emails from a BPEL process
    In the BPEL that has been done to start with the reception of an email I have the following:
    <partnerLink myRole="Consume_Message_role" name="Inbound" partnerLinkType="ns1:Consume_Message_plt"/>
    Inbound_jms.jca has the following configuration:
    <adapter-config name="Inbound" adapter="Jms Adapter" xmlns="http://platform.integration.oracle/blocks/adapter/fw/metadata">
    <connection-factory location="eis/wls/Queue" UIConnectionName="soa-server" UIJmsProvider="WLSJMS" adapterRef=""/>
    <endpoint-activation portType="Consume_Message_ptt" operation="Consume_Message">
    <activation-spec className="oracle.tip.adapter.jms.inbound.JmsConsumeActivationSpec">
    <property name="DestinationName" value="OraSDPM/Queues/OraSDPMEngineRcvQ1"/>
    <property name="UseMessageListener" value="true"/>
    <property name="PayloadType" value="BytesMessage"/>
    </activation-spec>
    </endpoint-activation>
    </adapter-config>
    When usermessagingserver receives an email message, the BPEL doesn’t start and I get this message in the log:
    PM oracle.sdpinternal.messaging.EngineReceivingCoreBean processMessageCommon
    WARNING: There is no application that has registered this address as an access point. Message will not be delivered.
    I have no idea how to configure an access point, I've only found how to De-register from Messaging Client Applications in the usermessagingserver.
    Found this documentation about registering access points, from an sample application of usermessaingserver in [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/doc.1111/e13807/ns_java_api.htm|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E12839_01/doc.1111/e13807/ns_java_api.htm]
    but I cannot find where to download the example from the documentation.
    Any help appreciated.

    Does anyone has some input on this issue?
    I want to do the same thing, but I don't know how to...
    Thanks

  • Play special ring tone when email received from specific email address

    I have a 8900 and do not use a BES.  I would like the blackberry to alert me by playing a special tone when I receive any email from one address.  When ever there is a problem with any part of my network, I will received an email from [email protected]  Can this be done and how?
    Thanks

    Supposedly the BB software is supposed to do that when you assign a contact a special ring tone...but it has never worked for me.
    Hopefully a reply comes in telling us how to get it to work, or RIM catches this and fixes the software.

  • DW CS5, Sending contact form results to email with page redirection using php script

    I am currently building a site from scratch with Dreamweaver, with the intent of replacing my current website layout that was designed using Intuit's website builder. My dreamweaver site is not online, but i have setup a local test server on my computer, using XAMPP, and i have an apache server with a MySQL database and a mercury mailserver running. I mention that in case it makes a difference in your answers. If necessary, I can include those settings, but that may be asking too much.
    I have an html contact form for users to schedule service appointments. I need the resulting actioned php file to do the following after submit is clicked: verify certain fields have been entered; prevent spammers or verify human visitors; send the form results to a (hidden from public view of any kind) email address; redirect user to a confirmation page, or an error page.
    I found the following code but being less than a newbie im not sure what needs to be changed, or if its even the right script i should be using:
    5 <?php
    6 $email = $_POST['email'];
    7 $mailto = '[email protected]';
    8 $mailsubj = 'You Have a Service Request';
    9 $url = '/MyLandingPage.html';
    10 $req = '0';
    11 $mailbody = "Results from form:\r\n";
    12 $space = ' ';
    13 $line = '
    14 ';
    15 foreach ($_POST as $key => $value)
    16 {
    17 if ($req == '1')
    18 {
    19 if ($value == '')
    20 {echo "$key is empty";die;}
    21 }
    22 $j = strlen($key);
    23 if ($j >= 20)
    24 {echo "Name of form element $key cannot be longer than 20 characters";die;}
    25 $j = 20 - $j;
    26 for ($i = 1; $i <= $j; $i++)
    27 {$space .= ' ';}
    28 $value = str_replace('\r\n', "$line", $value);
    29 $conc = "{$key}:$space{$value}$line";
    30 $text .= $conc;
    31 $space = ' ';
    32 }
    33 mail($emailadd, $subject, $text, 'From: '.$emailadd.'');
    34 echo '<META HTTP-EQUIV=Refresh CONTENT="0; URL='.$url.'">';
    35 ?>
    Can anyone please illuminate me on what I need?
    Thank You in advance

  • Contact form issues

    In my contact form, if the user trys to send a message and
    has not completed all the fields, a short movie clip plays and says
    "Please complete form." And then, when the user clicks again in one
    of the input fields, the movie clip plays and image disappears.
    However, as it's working now, the movie doesn't stop where it
    should, and it plays and keeps going and the image disappears. The
    cursor for some reason is still in a text input box and I guess the
    movie plays on without stopping. If you'll press the send button
    the moment you open the contact form, you'll see what's supposed to
    happen. The movie clip plays and the image stays on the stage. And
    then, when the user clicks in any text input box, the movie clip
    plays and image disappears. It's after you place your cursor in a
    text box, the error movie clip fails to play correctly. Now here's
    the kicker. All of problems above are only present when I publish
    the movie with the Action Script 2.0 option selected. And when I
    published the movie with the Action Script 1.0 option selected, the
    error movie clip in the contact form works perfectly. I guess there
    must be something in the action script for that page that's not
    supported in 2.0. I need to save my site with Action Script 2.0
    selected because I have a lot of tool tip's that totally won't work
    when I publish with Action Sript 1.0 selected. I've included the
    site and the action script. Let me know if you see a conflict.
    Honestly, I haven't a clue. Thanks.
    Site is Here.

    Well you have 2 funcitons to go to and play your error_clip
    mc, so without seeing the flash file, who knows what's going
    on.

  • Issue when emailing photos

    For some reason, whenever I email photos, doesn't matter how many, when they are being received, they come in as pictures and not file attachments. I have tested it by sending myself a couple of photos and when I open the email it shows up as pictures, already opened. But I cannot see where the attachments are located. I have checked everywhere in the email and there are no attachment icons anywhere. The pictures need to come in as attachments so the recipient can download them. This was not an issue but for some reason it is now. Am I doing something wrong ?

    Are you sending HTML email, or Rich Text messages (check Preferences > Composing to find out). If so, then Mail puts images inline in the body of the message. If you want them as attachments, the best way is to send Plain Text email (set in Preferences), or take all the images you want to send and make them into a single Zip archive and send that. It will be an attachment no matter if you send HTML or Plain Text email.

  • How to "hack" a contact to simulate an email received without receiving it

    Hi everyone,
    This may come off as a weird question, but to explain briefly: in a lead nurturing campaign, contacts are being sent an email every 2-3 weeks, but every time they flow in the program, they pass through the decision rules *received first mail?* -> *received second mail?* -> and so on, until they haven't received one, then they are being sent that one.
    If a contact has received 3 or 4 emails already, and then decides to use another email address, I realize that by changing it, that email will become fresh in the program, and will go through email 1, 2, 3, etc. again. The program is done and is already live, so there's no changing it.
    Would anyone know of a way to simulate that this new email address has received particular emails, without having to send them to this contact? Or is there really no choice than to let the new email address flow through everything again?
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Allan for your answer - the "new" email address to use is actually already in our database, but it looks like the old one was entered in the program instead, and has already received 3 emails so far. Entering the other email address in the program will make it have to start from email #1. The contact has alerted us with a simple email reply from his older email.
    I'm still thinking of a solution that would make things seamless - a dirty one that could work, again, is to just send all first 3 emails in a row to that contact's new email address after notifying him, and moving him in the appropriate step, but again, it's not the cleanest.

  • Contact form, sent via other email

    Hello,
    I have made a website for a customer that contains a contact form and that website is hosted on businesscatalyst. So far, so good.
    However, the messages that my customer receives through that contact form have my email address as the sender. How can I change that?
    Thanks,
    Marinka

    Hi Marinka,
    You can change it from Site manager > System pages > Default "From" email address from the site's admin panel on BC.
    Regards,
    Aish
