Contact import refuses to see post code

As a new user, I'm trying to set up my address book by importing from a csv file. The address lines (both home and business) in the csv file are street 1, street 2, city, county, postcode, country. There are no spurious characters or delimiters in the file. The import window shows ALL these correctly except postcode which is always "empty" no matter what I do. All the address lines, including postcode are repeated lower down as "do not import". Address format setting in preferences is UK. Can anyone help please?

When AirDrop for Macs was introduced many years ago. It would "handshake" between Macs and do the actual transfer of files via WiFi only.
Then AirDrop was introduced for iOS devices... Everybody was happy... Except for the fact that it would not work between Mac and iOS. This is because the "handshake" for iOS was done via BlueTooth, but the actual transfer was done via WiFi.
Now that Yosemite is out, both Mac and iOS devices do the "handshake" via BlueTooth. Then transfers the file via WiFi.
What I mean by "handshake", is that that's how the devices sees each other. Once the transfer of file starts, it's switched over to WiFi for a faster transference of the file.

Gmail Contacts Import Refuses My .CSV File

I have created a file in Numbers of contacts for gmail.
I have exported it as a .csv file
and I selected Western Mac OS Roman
(When this failed I tried Unicode and Windows Latin1)
Both of those failed to be accepted by gmail too.
Each time I try and import this file into gmail
to the Contacts section it says...
Sorry we cannot recognize the file format.
When I made my .csv file...
I started with a pile of email addresses with names.
I made sure that each line in the document read:
name(,) last name(,) <email address> (I hit return here)
Can somebody please tell me what I am doing wrong???

Which is the decimal separator in your system.
If it is the comma, Numbers will not use the comma as values separator but semi-colons.
This may explain your problem.

Post code on file wrong

My house was a new build and was allocated a new post code shortly after it was completed (10+ years ago now) unfortunaltely at the time my BT line was installed the earlier post code was associated with the property.
Despite numerous attempts I have not managed to get BT to update their records to show the correct post code.
Note: this is not the billing address (this is correct). This is the address used on marketing correspondece and (more importantly) it is the details that appear to get checked should I ever wish to change broadband provider.
Anyone got any ideas how I can get my post code updated?

No post post code 19

just set up new system, ran fine for a day except could not get it to recognize the SLI. During my last attempt to switch pci slots on second card and reinstall drivers refused to post. It imediately displays 19 on the led and that is it all of the phase lights are on but will not post. I have pulled everything except the processor, went and got some generic ram tried in all dimm slots nothing.
sorry forgot to mention also pulled everything out and tried powering up just processor with and w/o vid card to no avail.

@uncleblitz Since I can't send PMs I appreciate the reply, and to answer your questions you asked in your PM I have tried both the most current nvidia drivers 275.33 (i believe) as well as the drivers from the evga driver disk which were the 280.26.
As to the bios version I have no idea off the top of my head I don't see it anywhere on the board, nor in the documentation, and I did not write it down when I changed boot priority. I have not done a bios update at all, if that helps.
Currently my monitor will not stay powered up as the post code 19 is automatic and it never gets any further than that. I will go get some more thermal paste and reconnect the heatsink and try spamming the reset and I am assuming you mean just pulling the power coard from the back of the psu as a savage reset, and see what happens.
Ok so I just reaatached the heatsink and fan and tried a number of power ups. The reset button on the board works fine every time did a few more cmos resets, cold bolds etc. still goes immediately to code 19. however, and I am not sure how I missed this, the ddr phase 2 light never comes on, it wil flicker initially but it is never lighted with any of the memory sticks. I have not tried powering it with memory in any other dimm slot other than the one closest to the cpu recently. Since this is happening with 2 different types of memory I don't think the modules are the problem.

Broken iMac G5 refuses to see internal HD

I have an iMac G5 1.8ghz that refuses to see the internal HD, i can boot from CD, like techtool or OS X disk and it works fine - but then when we look for any sort of HD, nothing is listed.
I have tried putting my old G4 powermac into target mode and boot off firewire but I get the 'prohibitory sign', is this because the powermac is running 10.4.8 and the imac was only running 10.3?, does the iMac need a firmware update?.
I have tried a new SATA drive internally and the system still refuses to see it, and the original one tests fine on other systems.
any help appreciated.

I suggest you give Apple a call and see what they can do for you.
I was going to suggest to register your iTunes to the country that is listed in iTunes and close to you but that might give you issues.

I've seen a couple of other posts regarding this but no answers as of yet.
Stuck at BIOS/UEFI in a reboot loop. Top left shows Reset: 10Sec (and counts down). Lenovo logo and message:
Security engine initialization failed. Contact your support representative.
Error Code = 0x40000
I've tried the Power/Vol+ combo, tried tapping the Vol-, tried hitting F1 from an external keyboard, removed any memory cards, etc. Nothing seems to work. Is there some BIOS/UEFI update that can be done or a hardware reset to clear this? My 9 year old daughter doesn't care about a security engine, she just wants to play her games and watch videos.
Something else I noticed, the device will not power on unless it is plugged in. If I unplug it after I turn it on, it will continue to stay on (in the reboot loop). If I turn it off, I have to plug it back in before it will turn on again.
Please help!

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same issue, and the warranty has expired. (My error code is 0xF00482, but otherwise symptoms are identical.)

Post code not recognised on calendar order.

What is your iPhoto version?
Are you ordering from the correct Print Products Store?
The store is set in the iPhoto Preferences "Advanced" tab, at the bottom of the panel (in iPhoto '11). Make sure it is set to the country of the delivery address.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. P2 Panasonic log and transfer, FCS refuses to see....

hi,
this is driving me crazy...I have looked all over the web, and all tutorials seem straight forward, and I have followed them, but my FCS refuses to see the P2 files. I open Log and Transfer and they don't show up.
Well they did, the first 2 times, but now I have been at it for 2 days with no success.
I have trashed my prefs, I have restarted, to no avail.
But what is very strange is that the first time I try it it actually worked.
Any ideas?

MSI 990FXA-GD80 updated POST code "99"

I started my computer up last night after 3 months of using it and now it is posting a 99 code when I start the computer. I can't get to bios or boot. Keyboards will not work (both PS2 and USB). BIOS was completely up to date for nearly 3 weeks.
This morning, to no avail, I tried a new power supply.
At this point I have tried all of the following:
-Disconnecting HHD (SATA and POWER)
-Disconnecting Opitical Drive (SATA and POWER)
-DISCONNECTING ALL F-PANEL (PWR SW, PWR LED, HDD LED, RESET SW)
-Disconnecting the USB and HD AUDIO
-Disconnecting ALL fans.
-Mounting and remounting the motherboard
-Mounting and remounting the CPU
-Attempting to use a new video card
-Attempting to use a new power supply
-Placing MOBO on a different surface
-Reseting the CMOS via the on board button and removing the battery
-Using only 1 stick of ram to boot
-New PSU
Basically I am booting the PC with the power button on the MOBO and the only things connected are the 8 pin MOBO power, the CPU, 1 stick of ram, and 1 of 2 different working video cards.
After doing all of those things, the MOBO stills post code "99" on the screen and on the MOBO itself. Additionally, keyboard does not work. Furthermore, I cannot access my BIOS or boot screen.
The original video card and the replacement video card both work on another PC therefore they are not the problem.
Thus, at this point, I have narrowed the malfunction down to either the following two components:
-Motherboard
-CPU (which I doubt, but do not have a AM3+ mobo on hand) or another AM3/AM3+ processor
Any suggestions or advice are more than welcome and needed.
I am considering RMAing the motherboard...

Yes. The GPU is working fine I tested it in another computer. I installed another working GPU, it did the same "99" post.
Unfortuneately, there are 2 PC shops close by. 1 of them is a "mom and pop" type place that really doesn't get too deep in to technical aspects and doesn't care much for AMD products. The second is a shop that only carries very low end products as well as some i3 type proccessors and mobos.
Thus, since none of the computer stores give a flip about AMD, I am out of luck in that aspect. I have quite a few AM3 boards laying around, but that does me no good with this Zambezi.
On a side note, I decided to remove the processor. The processor and the heatsink became merged together. What I mean when I say they became merged is that the thermal paste become basically a superglue between the heatsink and the processor (the FX-4170 naturally runs hot, thus, AMD has included an upgraded heatsink in it with better thermal paste). Anyhow, in order to remove the thing I could only get the mounting lever about a little over half way up. Therefore, on the back row, the pins bent a little (I would say there were making somewhere between a 80-85 degree angle orthogonal to the board). I took a credit card and a screw driver and straightend the pins, stuck it back in, still posted the same thing.
Last but not least, I read over the mobo specifications and realized that it was backwards compatible. The MSI 990FXA-GD80 AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard supports the following CPU types/sockets:
