Contact info not coming up

Just recently when someone calls me that I have in my contacts list it shows the number only not any of their contact info such as name, etc. Why is it doing this?

There could be any one of three solutions... Try these:
1. Make sure you set your own country code at Phone Dialer Screen > Options > Smart dialing.
Set your country code in this format: "+xx" where xx = your country code. Some countries have two or three digit Country Codes. Do not place the '+' in your contact's entry.
* In the US, set this Country Code as "+1", and place your loca area code in the proper box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).
2. At the same location, change the National Number Length to the number of digits for your country (since some countries will have less than 10 as set as the default in the BB). Find out the total digits, minus the country code. Do not place the '+' in your contact's entry.
* For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (plus 3 for country code). You would enter "8".
3. You may have "Content Protection" set on your Address Book.
Look at Options > Security > General Settings. Scroll down to Content Protection > Include Address Book = NO.

Web Photo Gallery - Contact info not functional?

When I build a web gallery, using the Flash Gallery (default) in the 'Template Browser', no matter what info I put in the 'Contact info' and 'Web or Mail link' boxes (under Site Info), it does not work.
Example, under 'Contact info' I put the word 'Contact'....in the 'Web or Mail Link' I put 'mailto: [email protected] (I have not put my actual email here for purposes of this forum, and yes my email address is valid and will both send and receive in Outlook).
So anyways, when I upload the new web gallery using Dreamweaver CS3, or if I just simply preview it using the 'Preview in Browser' button, well the word 'Contact' appears in the upper right corner of the web page (photo gallery - as it should since that is what I put as word in the 'Contact info' box, but yet when I click on the word 'Contact' it it does nothing. Actually when I click on the word 'Contact' the first time, there is a line that appears below (as if to identify a link). But as I say it does nothing, opens no email window, nada! Except for when I click on the word 'Contact' subsequently, there is no more line underneath as if the link had become inactive???
I tried using another email address of mine, which is also shorter, but it does not work either....I also tried putting my main homepage address into the ''Web or Mail link' box and still nothing happens...it's as if the link is not functional...?
Has anybody else experienced this? Am I doing something wrong? Is it maybe just a Flash Gallery bug? (Because I have not tried using other type galleries i.e Blue Sky)

I have the exact same problem, step by step in Lightroom 2.4. I'm using Vista Ultimate SP2 and Internet Explorer 8.
Have anyone found a solution to this problem or is it just the two of us?

Contact info not showing in messages

Since upgrading to IOS7 my ipad will not show contact info for messages. On my iphone the upgrade works fine.

Hi, In such case, try to check the things below:
1> Make sure all contacts are stored in unique memory : sim or phone memory (recommend phone memory)
2> Try to avoid 1 contacts has few numbers and other case, similar or same names for fews contacts
3> Add your country code into the normal number format, eg: 0123455678 --> saved as +60 12345678 (+60 is the country code for MY)
4> Check the settings under Contacts folder: Contacts > Settings > Contact view or Display contacts > try to change Last name/ First name view option one by one

IOS contact info not loading in lock screen on power up on password protected iPAD Air

All I can say is that when my battery dies because I did not charge it in time, when it powers up again, address contact info is lost and get only numbers and non-aliased names for messages in SMS that show up in my lock screen. Now, don't know if this is because I have a pass locked machine or not... But I just thought I should mention it, since it is not acting in the consistent Apple way that seems to load after pass lock is applied. Wondering if this is a security feature.

How to correct safari autofill to my contact info, not my husband's

Autofill on my MacBookPro persistently uses my husband's contact info. When I go into Safari Preferences, there is an "edit" option, but it only opens my husband's Contact Page to edit. I cannot edit to change the contact page to my contact page. How can I do this?

Select your card in Contacts. Then select
Card ▹ Make This My Card
from the menu bar. If you share an account with your husband, he will now have the same problem you had.

Agent info not coming in PSEMHUB url

I am facuing a strange issue. I am running my psemagent but its info doesnot appear on the hub url. ie the hub url only shows CA as not running. My hub url is correct (similar is in another peopelsoft instance and that runs fine)

I tried several steps
1)recrawling
2)clearing cache of psemhub, and psemagents
3)resetting guid and bouncing app and prcs again
But no luck.
One thing i realise is that while booting the psemagent log shows "WARN main EMF_CATEGORY - TNS Ping failed , could not find Host" , howeverI am able to login to sqlplus using any of the oracle id.

1. hubURL (http://<yourservername>:<port>/PSEMHub/hub); the Agent Port (must be unique); in configuration.properties.
2. try $ StartAgent.sh recrawl to get the exact prpblem. If there is no problem try $ nohup StartAgent.sh &.
3.enter your HubURL in a browser and verify that your agents are registered and they are in a Running state
4.Once configuration.properties is set, go to $PS_HOME/PSEMViewer and run GetEnvInfo.bat (or GetEnvInfo.sh for UNIX). This will contact the hub, download all of the XML data,
and put it in an xml file called viewer.xml under $PS_HOME/PSEMViewer/envmetadata/data
5.Check GUID in psoptions table.
6.run the simple setup program at %PS_HOME%setupPsCAsetup.exe

Contact info not sync-ed when using iPod

Have new 80 gig photo iPod. The calendar sync's just fine with my other Macs. But the contact/address book is only bring SOME of the field data over the iPod. All the iPod shows is the name and email fields, and not the other fields. Am I doing something wrong. It's all there on my Mac, but not on the iPod. I am using Skype on my Windows 8 machine and my Android and my Mac.
When I get contact requests they dont show up on my Windows account.
The only workaround I have found is to open Skype on my Android and accept the invitation (which is not a big hassle, but Skype... come on! This is over 2 years now).

0CSM_USER_TEXT Text not coming through to PSA

Hi,
I install a standard data source 0CSM_USER_TEXT to extract data from ECC to BI.
RSA3 extraction gives the username and text. But the text info not coming to BW. Not even to PSA. The only user that has the text is for the userid ALEREMOTE.
This is the case in Dev and Production system. Everything is fine in quality system. It must be something related to authorization.
I see some people facing the issue but no one posted the proper solution.
Appreciate if some one can help.

Here si what I do:
Since I tend to message with teh same people I leave the messages available to me. If you are in one conversation with "Karen" and want to message with "Kathy" tap the message back arrow and select Kathy.
As always just be careful to rememeber who you are messaging to!

Unfortunately the Mail app on the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch does have the option to clear previous recipients. If you don't want to live with it, the only way to remove these cached email addresses from the Mail application is by restoring the iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch as a new iPad/iPhone/iPod. If you restore from backup, the cache is also restored.

Java Engine is NOT coming up == J2EE status info unavailable

My Java instance is NOT coming up.
When I look at the "Dispatcher's" status (from within Management Console), it changes from "J2EE status info unavailable" to
'J2EE: Connecting to message serveru2019, but the instance never comes up.
This prevent my portal to be available!!!
I keep seeing the following DB error:

I have a "Contact" organization issue I need help with. I organize multiple customers under their account affiliation. I place the people with their contact info under each account name by their dept/role in the notes section of their account. I am looking to be able to directly dial / email from this info in yet notes section located within a contact. On Blackberry, the notes area entered in a contact can connect directly but on the iPhone those numbers/emails are inactive. I am trying to avoid having to create each of these individuals as a separate contact and keep them under their account affiliation. It is easier to find them. This does not seem like that complicated of a request and hoping someone can tell me how or share an app that will enable the "notes" within a contact be "active". Hope this makes sense.

I seem to recall that this question has been asked before and I'm pretty sure that the answer is that you can't do what you want to do with the native contact app. However, there are lots of contact apps out there that pull from the built app's data but have other features. Perhaps one of them would meet your needs.

Contact info does not display when answering a call

instead of formatting my phone numbers as (123)456-7849 the iPhone Contacts app insists upon 1234567849
But when I receive calls, the display shows the caller with the parenthesis. And apparently that makes it different from the entry in Contacts.
But even when I save the call into Contacts, the number is reformatted without parenthesis, and there is no way to add parenthesis to the Contact info.
So basically I do not have caller-ID with my updated iPhone, it just shows the caller's phone number (with parenthesis, of course)
Help??? This is annoying.
