Contact List Display

I have a Palm Z22. I had to mannually enter my Contact List. When I display the Contact list, on some entries, I am NOT getting he full name.
For Example:
I enter a New Contact:
Last Name: Jones
Firtst Name: Tom
Home: 123-456-7890
Last Name: Smith
First Name: Tom
Home: 123-555-1212
The Contact List Display might look like this:
Jones, Tom
Smi.... To 123-555-1212
Can anyone explain, what I may be doing wrong? Of course, i would want the List to be: Last Name, First Name

Solution found. The act of rolling the track ball over the contact name and seeing the contacts phone numbers under the name apparently works only when using the search name feature from the home screen, not from the contact list.
More practice needed!

E72 contacts list display

Hi, I have just got an E72. On my old nokias it was possible to view the contact list with both the name and number of each contact when looking at the contact list i.e. When sending a SMS. Is it possible on the E72 to display the number too? At the moment all I can see is the name.
I have had a quick look around the menus and couldn't find it anywhere.

with nokia E72, there is no way to display both contact name and number. this feature is available for most s40 phones but e72 is an s60 phone. however, if you want to view the number for a particular name, you just have to go to the name, press your navi key and its going to show you the number and other details right away. by the way, navi key will be your center square button. just press that once and you'll see the number.

Address Book contact list display

The issue is not Lion exclusive but a general Address Book "feature" The contacts categorizing by the first letter finishes with Z, i.e. it works only for the English alphabet. All contacts in Russian go under "#" category which is extremely inconvenient when using the app both on a laptop and a phone
Is there any known fix for this "feature"? Or maybe it's possible to suggest to the developers to fix the problem?

Duplications in Contact List Under Favorites

I just got a replacement for my Kin OneM because I was having issues with the original one. There is something with the new Kin device, however... When I look at the contacts list by pressing "Contacts" on the "Apps" page, the list comes out normally. But when I click on the "+" on the "Favorites" page and the contact list displays, everything is repeated twice on that list. I can't even delete the duplicated ones manually because the only way to delete is to go through the contacts button on the Apps page and nothing is duplicated there.
Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can fix?

Nope, I am not in the edit mode.
This is what is happening:
When you click "Contacts" on the "Apps" page, you get a list of all of your contacts. This list for me is fine.
When you click "+" on the "Favorites" page, you also get a list of all of your contacts - when you click on one, that contact is now listed as a "Favorite." For me, all of my contacts are duplicated on this list of contacts, which should not be happening.
So, to reiterate:
Apps --> Contacts --> Contact list displays A, B, C, D, etc.
Favorites --> + --> Contact list displays A, A, B, B, C, C, D, D, etc.

I have two Apple ID's and it's casing problems on my contact list as it repeats the address in somecases and in others it only displays email address for a contact. I want to have the same contact list and details on all my devices (iMac, iPhone 4S & iPad Mini)? Is it possible?

By using 1 of the 2 ID's instead of both, choose one, move everything in the other one to the one you chose and stop using it.

Contacts display first name, last name, except if there's email address then contact info is deleted (?) and email is displayed in contact list.

Confused on these procedures to post.
My contacts should list first name last name, however any contact with an email has info phone numbers and addresses deleted and the email address is displayed in contact list. I know how to change to last name first name but that doesn't help... Any suggestions? Should I delete all contacts and reacquire all through icloud? How?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Contact not displaying in the list of contact

HELP. My phone suddenly stop displaying the full list of contact in dialing mode. But I could find/see the full contact list when texting people. can someone help me?

I am having the exact same problem. Ever since the update.
They display in the main contact section but not in the dialing contact section.

Inbox won't display senders names from Contacts list?

Is there a way to get the iPhone email Inbox to display the sender's name from my Contacts list when the user is on my Contact's list? As it is now, when I go to my Inbox on the iPhone, it shows a list of email addresses instead of the name's of the users, even though they are on my Contacts list. Once I click on a message and view it, then it shows the Contact List user name, but it does not show that data on the Inbox page.
Is this a bug or is there a setting to change this behavior or something else?

I'm with ya. I wonder if someone somewhere is working on an mail app that can both display names and allow us to use emoticons. Having used emoticons for years with my students, the sudden lack of them has some of them thinking I'm mad at them. Also, when I try to use the heartmark or other symbols available thru the numbers keypad, the email I send is apparently unreadable.

Messages not displaying contacts in contact list

Hi all,
I've just upgraded to OS X 10.8 and Messages doesn't display my contact list from the Jabber server I'm using. The contact list shows all groups, but no members. I've installed Adium to double check and it works fine. iChat never had problems. I restored OS X 10.7 from a Time Machine backup and iChat still works with that server.
Any idea what might be the problem? Please let me know if you need additional information.

Go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > tap email account that you are syncing your contacts with > make sure the Contacts switch is ON (green side showing. If it is already on, turn it off and wait 30-60 seconds, then turn it on again. If you get a notice asking you whether or not to keep your contacts on the phone, tell it to keep them.

N97 contact list number display

Can Nokia include the option to able to see Phone number when scrolling down Contact list... Pls...
for N97 in the next firmware
or anyone have any idea to view it without going into the edit option?

Well... you can't get the phone number to display in the contacts. You pull up a contact by name or company name, not the number.
So, when you pull John Doe, just click on that name, and your menu screen will give you the option to call or email or SMS that individual.
And the neat thing is, if the phone number is highlighted in the menu, then the Call John Doe option is defaulted.

Does anybody know how I can set display Name and number in my contacts list. I know how to set this in the following maner:
- First Name - Last Name and
- Last Name - First Name
but I don't know how to display:
First Name-Last Name - Number
All my contacts are on SIM card.

You cannot set that on a S60 (Symbian) phone.

Display Marketing Contact List

Hi All
While working with the Marketing Campaigns, We are sending Target Group to Channel from inside Campaign by Selecting the Target Group and then going to Extras > Target group to channel. We are sending out emails.
But after that when i go to Display Marketing Contact list under Marketing Planner, i coudnt find the log of emails sent out for the campaigns.
The list is blank.
This list was populated if the campaign execution was thorugh campaign automation , but why not if we are sending Target Group directly to channel from inside Campaign.
Please help.

We have configured communication channel but this time we have not linked any activity (transaction) with the comm medium. So emails are going out successfully.But we want a way to see successfull / unsucessfull emails by campaign ID. We could do it thorugh CRMD_EMAIL_LIST when transactions was configured for a comm medium. BUt now we are not linking any transaction with the comm medium.SO this transaction doesnt show any activity for a campaign.
What is the other way of looking at that information - how many emails went out successfully/ unsucessfully.
Please help.

How do I rid my contacts list of unwanted addresses that only display when creating a message. These contacts are not in my normal contacts list.

When using my contacts list to address a message, I have unwanted addresses NOT created or entered/saved by me in my contacts list. These addresses do not appear in my contacts database/list.
