Contact List not working properly
Today, my iPad 2 contact list stopped working properly. It opens but does not remain open. It stays open for one or two seconds and then closes. No opportunity to add/delete contacts. Anyone seen this before? I've never had a problem. Any hints or tips are appreciated. Thanks.
You did restore your iPad from that backup that was taken just prior to upgrading to iOS 5, right?
All apps and settings are included inthe backup.

Adium and Yahoo instant messenger contact lists not working with Leopard
After I installed Leopard, I tried to run Adium. When I tried to click on the icon and pop up my contact list to select a contact, nothing happens. I am now only able to receive messages and reply to received messages. I cannot get my contact list to pop up when clicking the icon in the dock (like I did with Tiger).

What you are seeing is, if I recall correctly, a bug from Palm webOS 1.3.1 that has not yet been addressed. If you launch Messaging on the Pre, and then select Preferences & Accounts > Add IM Acoun you will not get a button to add a Yahoo! IM account.
The work around for this issue, and to add Yahoo IM support to your Pre is to add a Yahoo email or calendar account. When you do, the IM account will also be created. That is the process that worked for me when Palm introduced Yahoo IM support with webOS 1.3.1.

Binding gateway service with List not working properly with expand
Hi all,
We have an orderlist with details, we use the splitapp for it, it's working nicely with a gatewayservice. We have now added with expand 2 orderpartners. I see the 2 partners, only is it completly the same data. I checked the oData structure and I see indeed that the 2 partners are the same. This is weird, because when I execute the service, via my browser, I see 2 different partners.
If I execute the service directly via the read function, I see in the oData that I also have 2 different partners. So my conclusion is that the direct read of the service is working and executing the service via the sap.m.List is not working with the expand.
Now my question is, does somebody know what's going wrong here, or is it a bug in the sap.m.List? Below you find code snippets how I call the service.

Why does my contact list not print properly?
I have printed out a contact list for an album of pictures, but it doesn't print them in the order I have selected to view them, i.e. by title alphabetically. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can do this? They appear to be in no order at all.
Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Lion, Mt. Lion or Mavericks delete the contents the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto, verify the sort in the album and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If you're running Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Auto-Submit On Change in DropDown List not working properly!
Hi all,
I�ve got a problem with a drop down list an a table with some rows on my page. The property "Auto-Submit on Change" is set for the drop down because the valueChange-method has to do some work when the user selects another value from the drop down.
The problem is that after selecting another item from the drop down, the table fields don�t keep their values, which I had entered before I selected another item in the drop down. But: When I select an item again, suddenly exactly these values are set.

Lync 2011 - Contact List Not Working after Upgrade
I updated my Lync 2011 client that was running perfectly fine. Once the update was complete the contact list area of the application is blank. There is no way to add new contacts or groups.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with the update. I am having the same issue.
I am an Office 365 user with a Mac running Mavericks.

java.io.File instance .list() not working properly
i want to get the file, folders in any directory, so i used the File.list() method.
but it is working in a peculiar manner. first see my simplified code, where the problem i am having::

Allow direct connections to your contacts only not working properly
So basically whenever I mark the box next to allow direct connections to your contacts only and hit save it stays like that until I relog, however when I relog the box isn't marked for some reason. I don't want to get booted anytime soon so any help would be appreciated. I don't have Skype on my phone or anything else, just my computer.
Same issue here. The strange thing is that it affects exactly the same contacts on all my devices (iPhones, iPads, MacBooks and iMac): I have 189 friends on Facebook and only 23 are syncing. So it is likely that the issues is caused on the Facebook side.
I also tried to update the Facebook contact information. The amount of updates is weird: it goes from 100, 102, 2 to 1 contact(s) updated, while only 23 contacts are syncing?

Q10 - Contacts not working properly
I just received a Q10 five days ago. It is a corporate activation on BES10. All my Outlook Exchange info has sync'd with the phone (e-mail, contacts, calendar) and, for the most part, the phone works well.
However, when I am in the phone application the Contacts list is empty. If I want call a contact, I have to go to the Contacts application and make the call from there. Also, Caller ID comes up with the number only, not the person's name in the Contacts list. It pretty clear that the Phone App and the Contacts App are not talking to each other.
WhatsApp is also not working properly. Contacts list is blank and I can't start a new chat, even from the Contacts App.
This problem is not unique to me as I have read about quite a few cases of the same on other threads and boards.
Is BlackBerry aware of and working on this problem?Now I just discovered my Q10 does not support Telenav. I have used Telenav on my last two Bberrys all over Europe + America and am now feeling betrayed. Anyone have a suggestion?

Headphones not working properly, i need to contact apple
Hi! My headphones are not working properly and I need to request new ones from Apple but I do not know how to contact them through e-mail, I couldnt find such an option in the support pages, I also need to ask them an issue about my warranty. I can not use the chat help option because somehow I can only select ipod shuffle and i do not even have it, why are chat pages only for ipod shuffle? How do you contact Apple by email to report one of their pre-installed iPad Apps (ie Calender) is not working properly?
On trying to open month of March 2013 the pre-installed calendar just shuts down and closes. Have tried restarting iPad but this didn't help and because its a pre-installed App am unable to re-install it. Is this a universal problem or just affecting me? Tried searching for support in both App Store and on Apple site and can't see how to report this.Feedback

Pick List Value Not Working Properly
Hi Oracle Framework Gurus,
I have a strange Issue in which one of my cusom page is working properly in Jdev and not working Properly when deployed in the apps instance.
There are two custom pages with the same VO.
What I do is have a picklist from one of the custom page and depending on the value of the picklist and I navigate to the other custom page.
This is working properly in the JDev,But for some reasons it works properly in apps instance, when I try to run the first time(ie) when I run page A and pick 'X' from the picklist the Page 'B' is coming properly as per the controller code and when i pick 'Y' from the picklist in Page B, it is navigating to Page A as per the controller code.
This works fine for the first time,But when i again select 'X' from the picklist the proper value from the Picklist is not getting selected and passed to the custom package and so I get wrong values in Page 'B'
What could be the reason for it as it working fine in Jdev,I can navigate from Page A to Page B and Page B to Page A as many times possible.Hi Anand,

Hi Above two are the controller codes forget the rest of the codes,Concentrate on the PFR code, Just want to know what I am doing is correct or not.
First time when I select the Picklist value,the value gets passed as a parameter to the custom package and the page gets displayed properly and vice versa,But I am not able to do the same cycle again for some reasons.
Please get back to me ASAP.
