Contact lost with server when i try to close a report

Hi
i have a strange issue with Discoverer plus (Oracle Business Intelligence Discoverer Plus 10g (10.1.2.48.18))
when i run a report and try to close it, by doing file--close--exit
i'm getting an error "contact lost with server".
any thoughts on this pecuiliar error.

i'm getting an error "contact lost with server"The problem might exists when your server lost the connection so it would say you to again login.Are you using VPN to connect to your client machine for accessing discoverer plus if so it happens with VPN.
Another thing is in discoverer plus if you leave it inactive for longer time without actually working on it and just opened it and minimized the window,then as it is in inactive state the server contact would be lost.

SSRS: Problem with security when we try to sse a report

I've two server which have SQL server 2008 R2 and Sharepoint 2010 on win server 2008 R2. We configured SSRS 2010 in integrated mode in sharepoint ( ohh we dont use SSL ).
The First is ok for authentification when i look in the log of SSRS and that work perfectly.

The account that run all ( same for configuration SSRS) is farm admin. We configure this account to use in Shapreoint administration for SSRS and Reporting service Configuration Manager. ( same configuration for the First and Second server ).
Ok, just to eliminate the physical problem, we use WireShark and Telerik on the Second server to see what happens when we try to see a report. And supprise, we see that the credential are passed to server ( we confirmed with a lot of packet ).
So, ours problem is that the Second server received the credential ( side hardware ) but he seems to have a problem with the configuration of the application ( sharepoint, SSRS or other ) .
* Just remember we apply the same configuration on the First and the Second server

According to your description, my understanding is that you cannot view SSRS report on the second server.
Was there any error when viewing the SSRS report on the second server?
Did you set the same report in the two servers?
Please check if the user has permission to view the SSRS report in the second server.

To narrow the issue scope, check if the report which cannot be viewed in the second server can be viewed in the first server and test the other reports in the second server.

If you're still around I hope you see this message, as you're the FIRST person (after reading every link, thread, other sites, apple support articles, etc.) to mention JB may be causing this iTunes popup window to REPEATEDLY occur:
"The iPhone software update server could not be contacted."
No, I did not hack anything (are you kidding? Grannies don't hack!), but I unknowingly bought a 3Gs iOS 3.1 from ebay that was not advertised as JB. Since it is like brand new, I was going to keep it (because my old backup is iOS 3.1.2) & was trying to simply restore & update, which (I thought) would remove the JB (that's what everybody says at forums, etc).
Instead, after "erasing all settings/content" (inside phone's Settings to get the prior person's name out of there), it is now stuck in White Apple Mode.
Put it in DFU/Recovery Mode & connect to iTunes but that stupid above message keeps appearing & I have already read/tried EVERYTHING to get rid of that message, starting with:
1. OLD phones (3Gs) with OLD iOS 3.1+ should work FINE with OLD Mac (iBook) with OLD OSX (Tiger 10.4.11) with OLD iTunes (9.2.1[5]). So that can't be the problem.
Here's all the other things apple & others say to check which I already checked:
2. USB ports are FINE, both work FINE, so that's not the problem.
3. No "extra USB devices" are connected, ONLY a mouse, & then the phone (yes, I tried it w/o the mouse connected but that didn't help).
4. No "usb hubs."
5. Latest iTunes for this OSX has already been DL'd (iTunes 9.2.1[5]). If you know of a newer one for this OSX, please advise.
6. No antivirus software.
7. No security software.
8. No routers; only 1 comcast modem, period. Wired Ethernet.
9. No wifi gadgets, no wifi at all.
10. No firewalls, except what is on iBook in the SHARING/System-Prefs. section. It's turned OFF.
11. Did the hosts/terminal thing sudo nano whatever it was. There were only 3 lines, NO gs.apple.com:
xxxxx local host
xxxxx broadcast host
xxxx local host
Oh, & btw, ATT officially unlocked this phone (after I filled out their online forms) but I can't finish the process via iTunes to get their Confirmation that "Device is Now Unlocked," so I can use T-Mo.
So that's it. If you have any other ideas of what to do from here, since from your comment, maybe it's the stupid JB on this phone that is causing the problem (???), please advise.

Mattreichenbach is probably on the right track here with a reset of settings. I think I've determined the issue has to do with cached account information and inconsistencies for the account name. This seems to crop up when I've changed my password and it hasn't propagated fully to all the servers, devices, certificates, etc.
Hopefully many here are on their way to restoration of service by now but it's clear that a lot of people are having the same issues. Very frustrating and definitely something Apple needs to resolve: incoming mail server field grayed out, incorrect autopopulation of different fields, other unanticipated behaviors. If you're still having issues, though, here's what worked for me...
First, head to the iCloud preferences pane in System Configuration and choose "Sign Out". When I did this it prompted me with a number of "are you sure" type questions about retaining information on my local machine. I chose to delete/remove the info each time simply because it should all be restored by the cloud and I didn't want to risk a massive duplication of my data... I will say, I'm back up and running with no issues so I suspect you can make the same delete/remove choices... But use your own judgment. I don't want you to lose any data (ie.. please use care as you do this because I cannot bear the thought of causing anyone to experience the pain of data loss).
Once you've signed out of iCloud, restart your system. When you get back in, head to the Mail, Contacts and Calendars section of your System Preferences and add your account back by choosing the brushed aluminum "iCloud" button. When it asks for your account name, use your @iCloud.com email address. I am all but certain my issue had started because one of my devices (iPhone or whatever) had been set up with an email alias specified instead of my @iCloud.com address.
Apple, if you're reading through any of these issues (there are TONS of users having this same problem). Take note, that your icloud service somewhat frequently is not responding and yet tells the user that the password is wrong and this prompts people to be changing their passwords unnecessarily. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Also, I noticed that last week's outage corresponded to a VERY similar outage exactly one year ago to the day. Sounds like planned maintenance to me and I think you could do a better job notifying folks so we're not wasting HUGE amounts of time troubleshooting a problem that we have no hope of fixing.

HP 5510, Windows 7, new printer, just picked it up!, "unable to communicate with printer" when I try to print a page, all network conections check out OK with Print Diagnostic Utility.

Are you receiving any error messages when you print from the desktop? Its possible the print spooler is having issues which is not pushing the jobs to the printer. Lets restart the print spooler to get any old jobs that could be stuck in the queue removed.
1. Press the start orb in the bottom left on the screen.
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type "services.msc" (without the quotes)
4. Locate the Print Spooler service in the right column
5. Click restart on the service link on the left
After it restarts the spooler go ahead and retry printing. Let me know if this works.

I can still connect to iTunes store and I can still summit track names to the CDDB server. I just cant recive the names from the CD's. I read this problem on the community and I've checked that the proxy server from Lan is unchecked. I use a verizon wireless card for my internet if that matters.

Perhaps try the iTunes Store loads partially or returns "Error 306" or "Error 10054" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

Since I upgraded to os x maverick when I try to close with cmd + q from the drop-down menu the app store and I IMOVE reopen continuously.

2 GB of RAM is pretty tight. I imagine that's at the very low end of what Yosemite wants, which could slow things down.
As far as scroll direction, you can always change it in the trackpad settings. Unsure why it got flipped, but you can fix it in about 5 seconds. Choose "natural" (or don't) depending on how you like it.

Howdy carpetjim,
When you change the folder location like that, it changes where new songs and media are stored. To actually load the library you need to do this:
Steps to create or choose a different iTunes Library file
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you are using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu and choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you are using the Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of the following screens:
Additional information
If you do not see one of the screens above, then you did not hold the correct key at the correct time. You may want to try again. Note that if you pinned iTunes to the Start menu programs, and open it that way, it may not work.

Multible tabs open when i clik a link to a new tab; then do not open or even show up when i try to close them with 'close all tabs'..they are like 'ghost tabs'

This has been happening for several days now...the tabs are shown on the tab bar, but do not open up or close when i try to close them....when i tried 'close all tabs', which then says 'you are trying to close 2 tabs', they are not counted as being open....only way i can get rid of them is to close FireFox completely, then it starts all over again. Ghost Tabs!
