Contact Manager Problem Lenovo A7000

I have already mentioned this in other discussion thread but was never got noticed by lenovo staff. So once again for your kind infirmation I am explaining about this issue. After the s142 update any new contact added under the Google account is not getting synced to google servers though in setting-> accounts-> google accounts its always showing synced recently but changes don't get updated on the server. This is another serious issue in s142 update. Pls don't let it unnoticed. My humble request to lenovo staff is to kindly look into this matter . At least acknowledge this issue. I don't know how else I can bring this issue to your notice. People will loose each and every contacts added after this update.
PS: Issue exist even after factory reset.

E71 Contacts Management

Hi folks,
Just purchased an E71. Very surprised that I cannot browse my contacts by company name, or order them by company name. This is supposed to be a business tool, which means working with companies! I have over 4000 contacts to manage/view, all held in Outlook and sync through PC Suite.
I must have missed a configuration option somewhere?
Anyone out there know how this can be fixed.

I had this problem with the Nokia E90 and found a fix on the discussion boards as reprinted below:
"The contacts search in Nokia E90 is based on first and last name only.
You may want to consider installing "Nokia search". It's an application that will search your phone contents, including your contacts.

The fix works, the search is quick, and you can search ANY part of the contact card. However the programme runs separately on the phone and you have to access it first.I guess the fix will work with the E71 as it runs on Symbian 60 like the E90 does. Having said this, there are other contacts management problems with Series 60 phones which I have not found a fix for and which mean I am currently still using my old 9300 Communicator (Symbian 80) until Nokia solves the problems.

Failure of Contact manager on updating of lenovo A6000

Whatsapp and Contact Management App Problems After iso6 Upgrade

I have a problem here! As soon as I upgraded my iPhone to iso6, all my contact management app as well as Whatsapp messaging app's contacts were gone. I would like to find out what has happened to the contact sync with other apps as the phone contact I sync with iCloud seem intact. I hope the developers can come up with a solution to work closely with Apple on this.
So far all upgrades were perfect, wonder what went wrong with iso6? A big disappointment for a Apple Fan like myself to face this problem and it seems to be Major to many of us here. Please do something Apple... ...!

The UME roles are included in the VIRACCNTNT*.SAR file, it is recommended you upload those with every support pack (import into UME).
Regarding Mitigating Controls: try to generate one in DEV and see what the difference to SP04 is - it's probably just visual.

Hi, I found there are other issue apart from contact manager crash issue after upgrade from Jelly bean to KitKat 1. in the same way google chrome is also crashing after trying to open gmail and start enetering username2. caller name is not displaying while getting incoming or outgoing calls3. I found some suggestion in the same community website that first take a backup, delete all the contacts, and them import it back to solve the issue. But why we need to do these, why this issue is happening after upgrade4. however I deleted contacts and tried export from the storage. While doing so, Contacts->Menu->Import/Export contacts->Import from storage, it finds and displays all the .vcf files. Very good, but there is no select button to 'select all' the vcf file to import to the address book. I don't want to sit and select each .vcf file from the list to import it as there hundreds of contacts. I think 'select all' option is missing after upgrade. I heard, in kitkat version some performance issue is fixed but now it seems to be many basic functionality features are not working after upgrading. Removing Business Contact Manager BCM from my Lenovo IdeaCentre K210

Lenovo a7000 Games installation Problem

Hello Team !!! I am using lenovo a7000. When I install apps like modern combat 5 , it says " The package duplicate permission null ". Please help me with this. But the same app is installing for other android users. Thank you......!!!!

No it's not for all games it's for those which are present in the secure zone ie even if you uninstall the pre-installed games still it's present in secure zone because of which when u install from those games from somewhere else it shows permission null Solution u have to install it from play storeRe:ajphoenix wrote:

T500 problems, Lenovo problems

I just got a new T500.
First of all the screen is not very bright. It's hard to see in a well lighted room.
The keys on the keyboard are uneven, as in the left side of the spacebar sticks up in the air.
The vertical scroll on the trackpad only works well if I make the zone very large.
Screen goes dim. When on battery power for a while the screen will go very dim and will not respond to any display or power adjustments. If I plug it in, no change. If I power off and reboot, no change. If I let it sit unplugged over night then all is well.
Today, Dec 28, 2009, I have been on the phone 4 times.
866-426-7378 had a 15 minute wait just to tell me to call 800-426-7378 technical support for a case number.
800-426-7378 was supposed to be technical support. The person at the other end of the phone said they are just a call center. Gave me only 2 options, either return it a pay restocking fee and all shipping, or have Lenovo repair the problems. I said I don't want to go back and forth in the mail with a new laptop please let me return it and send another one. "No", was the response.
866-426-7378 another 15 minute wait, no help, I asked for a supervisor, he got on then disconnected me.
866-426-7378 again, 30 minute wait, finally got an intelligent helpful person. He contacted a tech friend of his who said the problems were probably, 1 need a new keyboard, 2 new track pad or maybe just driver updates (this is a brand new unit), 3 the screen needs a new backlight and possibly even a complete lcd replacement.
So I am sending it back and I will wait to hear from Lenovo.
WHY DO YOU MAKE IT SO PAINFUL

Of the drivers you mention I have the following installed:
- ThinkPad Power Management Driver (6hku06ww)
- Power Manager (7zu413ww)
- Lenovo Fingerprint Software UPEK (6hf309ww)
They appear to work well apart from switching the built in CD player on after a power down. I now have to manually eject and reinsert the CD driver to switch it on.
On My T400s I only have discreet graphics. The built in drivers for WIn 7 worked but I downloaded Intels Win 7 graphics drivers from their site.
You might also want to install the UltraNav driver and Utility.
The drivers seem stable and (mostly) working as they should so I would recommend you install them.

Lenovo A7000 - move to SD card option not featuring

Hello,
I have bought a new Lenovo A7000 and i am facing the gollowing problems,
1) app cannot be moved to the SD card ----option only not showing in the app info
2) in file manager you can see the external storage but in installed VLC player you cannot see the External storage or the SD card contents
3) in the setting--storage SD card contents is not showings in levels
for all the three points i have posted the the images pls check and rectify the problem

I'm facing the same problem with my lenovo A7000....Whichever app I'm downloading from playstore, it's getting saved in internal storage (not is SD)
I tried with multile SD cards (4Gb,16Gb), no go!
Could you please fix this bug and update the same to us ASAP with the help of your engineering team..
1 more issue which I have is:

According to your description, we need to verify the version of the SQL Server, usually the warning of compatibility issues applies to all SQL Server Express editions when installing Business Contact Manager (BCM) 2007 on Windows 7/8. The incompatibility
was fixed in SQL Server 2008 Service Pack1 and SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 on Windows 7.

Best Contact Management Software for Mac

I'm sure this question has been asked before but I can't find it anywhere. Plus, I'm not sure if I'm even in the right place. But, can you tell me what contact management software works the best for Mac?
Also, I'm new to using such software, is there anything specific I should be looking for when choosing one?

I'm sorry to say there isn't much around. It has been a bit of a weak spot for Mac / OS X for ages - but things are possibly improving.
Any CRM solution for OS X needs really to co-operate with Address Book and iCal - so you can sync your stuff out to PDAs or whatever, and use them in Mail / iWork / Office 2008 etc. that are already written to work with such info in AB and iCal. If it doesn't, you end up with a closed-off app that can't easily work with you on the machine, and which then has to re-do code that already exists. Odd design constraints in earlier versions of iCal and AB made this harder - they were not very aware of other systems / apps. But this is changing in Leopard, and there are some promising things on the horizon (though none really useful solutions avail yet).
Of those out there, probably the best notional app is (in my view) Now Software's Nighthawk (http://www.nowsoftware.com/nighthawkSubsite/index.html). It is written by a team with a solid track record of CRM development on Macs, and is apparently designed to play nice with iSync and the rest. Trouble is it doesn't yet exist - rumours of a public Beta have been out there for months, but the date keeps slipping. Could be a good thing, or signs of major problems - who knows. Realistically you'll not see anything commercially viable from them before April next year I reckon.
But waiting could be good. The other attempt we've seen is SOHO Organizer by Chronos Software. (http://www.chronosnet.com/Products/sohoorganizer.html) In description it does the business - iSync / iCal / AB compatible. But it has had a troubled development, and there is lots of grim sounding reports of trouble with the app on the net. The developers are not very kind to themselves with not much disclosure and (at least last time a looked) a restrictive demo / preview policy (you get one trial period, and that's it, for ever! Even if they bring out a major version number change). My personal experience is that they tell a much better marketing story than they deliver in software - but I've steered clear of the app for a long time now (after a seriously bad experience) but who knows, they might well have caught up with their ambitions by now.
There are many others about that are really central web-based systems - which is fine provided you don't want to use Mail / AB / iCal or sync any of this to your phone / PDA / .Mac or whatever.
So, nothing much going on now. But ever hopeful...
If anyone knows more / other stuff - would be good to know about. We're still travelling hopefully.
