Contact Person within Business Partner?

Hi,
I have replicated vendors from ECC to SRM, but the contact person for Business Partner didn't come. So, when I go to Shopping Cart, the Vendors List don't show any results.
   Version: SRM 7.0
   Any tips?

Hello,
The functionality of BBPGETVD and BBPUPDVD doesn't include the
replication of contact persons allocated to a vendor.
The only way to do this is to maintain the assignment manually.

In SD Customer Master data, we can maintain Contact Person in General Data tab page.
For my knowledge, we can not find u201CContact Personu201D field in ISM Business Partner u2013 General Data. Correct me if I am wrong.
Mostly user enters the contact person details in u201CSearch Term 1/ 2 fieldu201D in Address tab page in ISM Business Partner u2013 General Data tab page. While creating ISM Billing Document for this Business Partner, system prints this contact person details in ISM Invoices.
(Or)
While creating ISM Order, user can maintain Contact Person name in Header Details(Click on u201CGo to >Header>Details>Purchase Order Data>Cont.Person)
If you maintain Contact Person name in Header Details also, system print this contact person details in ISM Invoices.

Using the DTWQ to update the new additional contact person. No need to use add option. It is because you just only add the additional contact persons and no new BP

I already replicated contact person from CRM to ERP,but the contact person just appeared in tab contact person in ERP customer general data.

Hi Raymond,
I believe the contact person in question is assigned only as a partner function in R/3. Therefore you will only see the usage of that BP as a partner function, but not the relationship specific data.
You will need to create a contact person relationship for the BP.
So the relationship specific data will not be visible for a contact person in R/3 which is only assigned as a Partner Function in R/3.
Can you please check this on your system?

How to avoid contact person deletion when partner function is assigned

Hi All.
I need your help for a contact person issue.
I'd like to avoid a contact person relationship to be deleted when this contact person is assigned to one or more partner functions for any customer's sales area. In ECC I can't delete a contact person that is been used as a partner function in customer's sales data (KNVP). The system shows message F2 189. But it seems not to be the same in CRM as I'm able to delete this contact person relationship despite he's been used as a customer's partner function. Furthermore, when the contact person is deleted in CRM, no upload to ECC occurs, I mean, the contact person is still "alive" in ECC and linked to the customer.

Yes, we're using Web UI, so I'll try to check the partner function assignment as you told me.
No problem regarding the concepts of contact person deletion and contact person relationship deletion, I know the difference. What I meant was that you can delete a contact person relationship in CRM (not the contact person itself but the relationship) and this relationship is not deleted en ERP due to the fact that this contact person is used as a partner function in the customer sales area. It seems CRM and ERP are working in a different way, using different checks that can lead you to inconsistencies.

Contact Person and Business Address and Home address

Could anyone explain me how Business and Home address are determined for Contact Person. Are this data stored with different person number for specific contact person? Is there any maintenance which tels which data should be copied to Business and Home address from Contact Person address data?

Contact Person Info is maintained in the table KNVK.
It is maintained through VAP2 transaction.
When you assign a contact person to a Customer in XD02/01 the home and business addresses get copied from VAP1 (KNVK table).

I just want to ask if there is a program I can use wherein the SU01 contact information of our users will be imported to their Business Partner relationship. We have more than 1000 users and we do not have the luxury of time to update them one by one.

Thank you for you reply. The SU01 contact info are the e-mail address, phone numbers, etc. that are located in the first tab in SU01.
The FM you provided can be helpful but is there a way wherein we could update more than 1 user's info using a program or FM? Because we are dealing with a lot of users.

Issue with IT0031 and Central Person and Business Partner (HRALX PBPHR)

the following issue appeared in our system:
I have two employee numbers (P1 und P2) that I need to link via IT0031 to make sure they have the same Central Person ID (CP). P1 already has a BP-relation (BP1) - the other doesn't.
When I am now trying to save IT0031 I get the message that P1 and P2 can not be linked - but what is worse, P2 (the one formerly without a BP-relation) now has a BP2 even though nothing was saved in the infotype.
It seems to have something to do with HRALX PBPHR because if I switch the parameter off in T77S0 I am able to link the two P (and therefore make sure only one CP and one BP relation exist) - but is the parameter activated it will generate a new second BP even though there is no cause to do so.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Unfortunately, I can't let the parameter HRALX PBPHR switched off, so I need some sort of work-around. Any help is appreciated.

thanks for your reply...but the problem ist not the Central Person but the fact that while trying to link two P the parameter HRALX PBPHR in T77S0 generates a new BP for the P that hasn't had a BP relation before.
In IT0031 no changes are saved due to an error message that results from finding relations to an object - that has not been there before. So, somehow I think this might be a bug or something because I see no reason why the parameter would react to linking two P via IT0031. Because the whole idea of this infotype is to copy CP and BP relations from one P to the other. And it works just fine when deactivating the parameter.

The Business partner and the central person gets created automatically when you hire an employee.This is captured in HRP1001. further you can create a business partner using transaction BP

Error in Business partner

Hi all.
We have SRM 5.0 Extended scenario.
We create a program to upload contact person without user
in this program we use the following function modules:
BUPA_NUMBER_GET (to get the partner guid)
BUPA_ADDRESS_READ (to get the addres guid & addres_number)
BBP_CONTACT_PERSON_CREATE
Apparently, the contact person was created correctly. but when i try to modify them with transaction BBPMAININT, the system send me an error: Business partner XXXXXX is invalid.
I think the error is because the flag "Employee Is Contact Person" is not marked.
are there another FM that we need to execute ???
why the flag indicator "Employee Is Contact Person" is not marked???

The error is because the BP for the contact person has not been created!Please check whether the FM "BBP_CREATE_CONTACT_PERSON" is creating the BP for the CP as required.Are you passing the data to IS_DATA_PERSON (in the import parameter) so that the flag Employee Is Contact Person is checked?Try doing that also.

Error while consuming "Find Business Partner Elements by Elements" service

I am consuming the standard enterprise service "Find Business Partner Elements by Elements" with technical name "BusinessPartnerCRMElementsByElementsQueryResponse_In" in Webdynpro CE 7.1 . The service provider is CRM 7.0.
The response from the enterprise service contains a structure called categorycode as ,
<CategoryCode/>
This seems to throw an error in when we execute the application . The error we receive is
1. "Check nested exception for details. (Parameter set failure. The runtime was not able to set some result parameter value."

1      Person      The business partner is a natural person.
2      Organization      The business partner is an organization.
3      Group      The business partner is a group of natural persons or organizations.

How to save more than one Contact Person in CRM

Hi experts,
                 How to save more than one contact persons in CRM opportunity Application?
I am using following Function Module...
CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'
    EXPORTING

I am giving the input field name as 'PARTNER_FCT', 'PARTNER_NO', 'DISPLAY_TYPE', 'NO_TYPE', 'MAIN_PARTNER' and 'RELATION_PARTNER'.
The problem is it is saving only one contact person, not more than one.
Please help me how to save more than one contact persons.

In SPRO partner processing this needs to be configured.
