Contact persons in R/3 and CRM

Hi,
Contact persons in R/3 and CRM use different sets of number ranges. So in order to find correct R/3 contact person for same contact person in CRM, we need to find the correlation in between both,
Can any one can suggest the exact table that links partner numbers of contact person in CRM and R/3.

R/3 table CRMPARNR
Field CONTACT_NO is the number of the contact person in R/3 (table KNVK),
ORG_GUID guid of the org in CRM,
PERSON_GUID guid of the CP in CRM

Deactivate replication of contact persons from R/3 to CRM

Hi,
i'm replicating customer relationships from ECC6 to CRM2007. All fine, including z-partner functions etc.
One thing Im baffled by however is the replication of contact persons. Contact persons will be created in CRM only, without any integration/replication with ECC6. Since there are existing contact persons in the ECC6 master, I want to deactivate that replication.
So I hae deleted the mapping for master data transfer in CRM in the IMG under Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from SAP ECC into CRM
and Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC.
But if I create a contact person in ECC6, it STILL replicates through to CRM!! Any ideas how to de-activate that replication? I don't want to end up with failed BDOCs in the middleware if posible.

thanks a lot for your reply. However the approach needs to be a bit more sophisitcated than that. I do replicate through a number of r?3 partner functions into relationships in CRM, e.g. ship-to and 3 z-functions (promary CSR etc.). That all works fine and needs to stay that way.
However I do need to deactivate the replication of the R/3 contact persons to CRM.

Mapping table for contact person download from ECC and Groupware

There are 3 connected system in our landscape:
- CRM
- Groupware (connected to CRM)
- ECC
We have a requirement that the Contact Person can be created in any of the above 3 system and should flow to the other. So, the below scenarios are valid in our case:
1. Contact created in Groupware, flows to CRM ->ECC
2. Contact created in ECC flows to CRM-> Groupware
3. Contact created in CRM flows to Groupware and ECC
Our flow system works fine and the contacts created in one system, flows to the other 3 and any changes also flow.
The problem is that for the contacts created in ECC, the communication data (phone, email etc) flow in CRM and get updated in the "Work Address" section in the Contact display screen in Web UI and the updates from Groupware for communication data gets updated in "Main Address" section.
Can anyone please advise what are the mapping tables for the address update when the contact is created in :
- Groupware/CRM
- ECC

Thanks for the response.
I checked for the notes you suggested, but having read it it doesnt appear to address my problem. Did you get this from SAP as fix to solve' specify the name of contact person' error in SMW01 ? Unfortunately even SAP isnt replying to me on this.
I am also not getting any dump, all my queues are getting cleared in ECC and CRM. My error remains 'specify the name of contact person'. Interestingly when i tried to push the contact person directly as bupa_main..it too failed with the same error..more interestingly whenver my contact person tried to get replicated as bupa_rel..ecc does eat up a number assignment..but no record is created for it in ecc...the smw01 says partiaslly send ..receivers has error..

Issue while saving contact person details in CRM 5.2

This issue is in IC webclient CRM 5.2.
Issue:We search for the product and then confirm it.Once its confirmed,it will display the list
of partners(ex:Sold to party ) for that product.
When I select sold to party ,it will display the list of contact persons for that sold to party.
Then I select one contact person and I change some details for the selected contact person like extension,email and save it.
Its getting saved.
After that I do cancel interaction and I repeat the same steps.After changing the contact person,when I click on save ,its not getting saved.
Again If I click on Save,its getting saved.
I found that in setter method,collection wrapper is getting refreshed for the second time.Because of that,its throwing an exception 'CS_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL'.
Can you please tell why this collection wrapper is getting refreshed and what could be the problem.

Our scenario is existing customers and contact persons would be uploaded in ECC which need to be replicated in CRM
All new customers and contact persons would be entered in CRM only post golive.
User have multiple contact persons with different addresses for every corporate account in CRM

CRM--> ECC : B(Classification) - Z001 Ext Account Group of ECC
ECC-->CRM : 0001 Account Group - B(Classification) - 0001 - Ext No Range (ECC)
Z001 Account Group - B(Classification) -0002 - Int No Range (CRM)
Please suggest how to maintain Account group and number ranges for contact persons in ECC and CRM and PIDE settings for the contact person.

Contact person Rel.ship Data not getting updated in B2B Web User Mngt

Hi CRM Gurus,
Need some help on Web User Management functionality.
Sub: Contact person Relationship data not getting updated when we change the company (to wich contact person belong to) in ISA CRM 5.0 Web User Management.
we are currently on CRM ISA 5.0 and using Web User Managment for our B2B scenario. New creation of users is working fine. But when we want to change the company (Sold to pary) for the existing contact person, the relationship data in CRM is not getting updated and the below are the details.
Contact person No: XXXX (has a Relationship: "Is contac person for YYYY company in CRM)
Company/Sold to Party: YYYY (has a relationship "Has contact person XXXX in CRM).
When I chage the contact person's (XXXX) company from YYYY to ZZZZ,
- Relationships of the new assignment for ZZZZ in CRM not getting updated.
- Old Records in YYYY is not getting deleted (i.e. relationships.
- There is No relationship data appear in XXXX.

I'd suggest you running a session trace / ABAP debugging to see if some information is not getting passed from the Java stack onto the ABAP stack. An alternate move would be to create a new OSS customer message.

Report for initial fill of marketing attributes for contact persons

What way do you recommend to bring this attributes into SAP CRM?

Hi Manfred - ELM, is what we use to update contacts for all information, including marketing attributes.
If you don't have the contact in CRM...Step 1 - From the file that you have, just map the contact details and ELM the file to create contacts. Step 2 - You have to add the contact IDs to the file now and this time create a mapping format to update the contact and marketing attributes.
In the mapping format that you would create, marketing attributes can be assigned from the file to be ELM'ed.

Account Merge - Moving Contact Persons

Dear all,
when merging two accounts we face the following issues:
- The copied contact persons from the source account do not get the work address from the master account
- The contact persons are only copied.
Is there a way to "move" the contact persons from the source account to the master accout and assigning them the new work address?
System: SAP CRM 7.0/SP5

I am also having an issue when moving contact persons on Account Merge.
The contact person's telephone number and email address does not get copied across to the master account from the source account. however other fields such as function and department for the contact do get copied across.
I am using CRM 2007 sp4.
Any ideas?

How to archive contact persons without relationship

Hello,
if in ERP a contact person of an customer (VD02) is deleted a BDOC is created for CRM.
This BDOC deletes the relationship from the contact person to the account in CRM.
In the meantime we have a lot of contact persons without any relationship in CRM because our CRM system is already 5 years in production.
How could i flag this contact persons for deletion and archive them in the next step?
Sorry for this maybe low-level question but i never did this in CRM.
Our CRM Version is CRM70 SP05.

Hi Mandred,
I would use t-code BUPA_PRE_DA, to mark them massively for archving.
To find the contact persons without relations, you can first collect all contact persons in the system at BUT100 by querying business partners with contact person role, and the check in table BUT050 to collect the ones that have relationships.
Then I would compare with first list (BUT100), and obtain the ones that doesn't have a relationship.

SQVI - Contact person data

Hi experts,
I want to extract information from contact persons in CRM through transaction "SE16". I want to have data from following areas of the contact person "General Data", "Work" and "Private". Unfortunately I can't have all data at once in just one table. So I'm thinking that join tables through SQVI would be my solution. Unfortunately is not that easy I discover. I have tried to search for help throgh different forums but can't find any solution regarding my case.
So please help! I want to know which tables I should use and which key figures as well. I have found the data I'm looking for in following tables:
BUT000
BUT051
ADRC
ADRP
ADR6
BUT052
ADR2
but how should I join to actually have a report that will extract the information I need?

Hi Hannes,
He can write a program in which we can fetch the data as per the tables you have mentioned. We can search with single BP as well as we can get the result for all the BP's in the system.
Moreover we can extract same in excel sheet, just need to write one query & upon executing the report pop up will ask to save the file in system.

Creation of Contact Person for a vendor in SUS, MM SUS scenario

We are working on EBP for bidding with SRM 5.0 and ECC6.0 as the backend. When we do BBPGETVD for the vendor root we have to create a contact person for the vendor to logon.
Our clients requirement is that all the data in the R/3 has to come to EBP including the telephone number and email addresses so that the vendor number should be created as the contact persons userid.
Is there any way to achieve this?

Also you dont need to enter any roles while creating the Contact person for a vendor.You just need to enter the employee/user details who will be the contact person for the vendor and after you save all the data ,the CP for the vendor will be created and the system will issue a message "Contact person XXXX for BP yyyyy created".

i have a req,
req says "system would need to block Customer Master Data irrespective of account group getting copied to the Contact Person home address and then to General Data tab"
i didnt understand it correctly.
how the data is copied into contact persons home address?

Create contact person for a Vendor

Hi experts
Someone could explaim the processes of contact person creation.
I replicated the vendor from R/3 and now I need to send a BId to this vendor but the sistem ask for a contact person, so I tried go to transaction Manage business Partner - Employ to Business Partner and tried to create a contact person for this vendor, but when I try to choose a roles for this user no roles is found and is not possible create the user.
Where can I insert the roles to found when creating the user?

Report for listing contact person with customer

Hello,
we use the tables adrc, adrp, kna1, knvv and now I want to know if somebody has a ready report, where I can put the country-id in (f.e. 'it') , so that this reports lists all contact persons with their customer and their adress.
Does anybody such a report ?
