Trying to get the contact phone number on Verizon site and it is not working

I am trying to call teh Customer Support number to discuss my Order, but when I go to the Contact Us page and click on the Call Us link, I get a pop-up asking for my zip code and then I am taken right back to the Contact US - no phone #'s given.   This feature worked when I used it last Friday during normal business hours.
I also tried the Live Chat link to see if I could engage a live person that way.   This time the link took me to a page that gave me the option of linking to the Support Knowledge base or accessing the automated customer support 'person' (which is just an FAQ interface).
Help - how can I talk to a live person.    If live help (via phone or chat) is limited to certain hours, that should be posted.   user should not be given the virtual version of the run-around.

Both numbers feel like they hit the same place, and I know verizon has been consolidating all their numbers to the main one - so stick with that.

Yes, I just noticed this after upgrading to 5.0.1. That's why I came here to this forum. I tried re-syncing with address book, but it didn't help. Not only is my text messages only showing phone numbers, instead of contact names, but my call log is doing that as well.

Add a pause to contact phone number

I add a pause to a contact phone number than add the extension and save, the problem is that the iphone does not dial the number. Any idea?

Are you dialing from contacts/favorites or from an app? Apps cannot dial pauses.

Contact phone number for Customer Service Center in Wallingford CT

Hello,
Does anyone have a contact phone number for the customer service center in Wallingford, CT. I sent them a letter back on May 17, 2014 and have not heard anything. I called the general customer service phone number on June 7 to follow-up and they did not have any record of my letter being received or reviewed. I have a major issue with Verizon cancelling my unlimited data in error and I am giving Verizon one last chance to work with me on this issue before I switch providers. You would think that they would have the decency to at least respond to someone who has been a loyal customer for over 20 years and who has gone through the trouble of drafting a formal letter and mailing it (since nobody would give me an email address). Please reply with any suggestions.

Did you put in an inactive pricing request to restore the unlimited data within 14 days of the change? If you upgraded under contract then the data plan change would be valid.

Try creating the vCard with the app My Contacts Backup, email it to yourself, then open it on your phone and tap the attachment to import the contacts.

Maximum # of Characters for Contact Phone Number

Anyone know what the maximum number of characters allowed, that will execute a call, within the contact phone number field for Rev 2.0?
Past s/w revision I was able to enter up to 40 characters, inclusive of spaces and pauses (",").
This now does not work, in fact it will not even try to dial the number.
This is causing me problems since I use international access codes and pins for overseas dialing.
Any help would be appreciated.

Other threads discussing the issue of pauses, etc, suggest it isn't the length of the number that stymies the iPhone, but something about the pause itself. I believe it mattered whether the number was entered on the phone or the computer (I think enter it on the phone). Try a search on the general iphone forum for more discussion.

Contact Phone Number Colour!

When viewing a text message, at the very top you have two options you can select, either 'Call' or 'Contact Info'. If you select 'Contact Info' and look at the phone numbers for this contact, one of them is shown in the colour blue. Does anyone know the significance of this? It can't be a favourite as that is shown by a star, nor a default number to dial as I'm unaware you can set that on the iPhone, and on some of my contacts, the number or numbers are all shown in black. I asked Apple but the guy I spoke to said he didn't know, does anybody have the answer?

C2-03 TEXT MESSAGING INSERTING CONTACT PHONE NUMBE...

I'm a celphone prepaid loader so I often refer to my phonebook whenever I send a prepaid load. In other nokia phone model to paste a contact person's name or phone number in the body of the text message all you need to do is choose "insert name" or "insert number" and I can't seem to find this feature in the c2-03 model. All I can find is "insert symbol" which would only allow you to insert special characters or smileys, whereas "insert object" would allow you to add attachment. This is a very important feature as it saves time to just import the information from the phonebook instead of inputting phone number right off the keypad.

i am facing same problem... is there any another way to insert contacts in messages in c2-02 or c2-03?

Dial contact phone number?

On my old pc, I used to have the option to plug in a phone line and have Outlook dial the contact's number for me. I don't see that option in Address Book, but it seems like it should exist. What am I missing?

nothing like this exists in Address Book. maybe some 3rd party software can do it but you'd have to search for it.

Edit contact phone number

One of my contacts changed her phone number, but Skype 6.-whatever won't let me remove the now wrong information. I can add all the numbers I want, but I need to drop the incorrect phone number, and it won't let me.

For their own reasons (whatever they may be), Skype doesn't provide the ability to delete messages from your history beyond deleting the history itself. In regards to editing/deleting numbers that still works fine for me as seen in this video.

Contact phone number tags

In my contact i have a buisness and in that corporation i have 7 phone numbers but i don't want to have 7 names with only one phone number that will make my contact extremely large. I want to name each phone number and not chose between home work cell and other i would like to call one Accounting, HR, and Mike specs, ... But it seems that the contact does not permit the change in the tag before the phone number. HELP how do i change it?

The BlackBerry 10 currently does not have the option to add customized phone fields, Mobile, Work, Home and Other are the only options currently available.

WHY assume cell number as primary contact phone number.

I just finished an upgrade of my FIos service, and was puzzled to have them keep contacting me on my cell phones. Since I retired, I am rarely using my cell phone and don't even have it on much of time. I was surprised to see when I reviewed my VERIZON account profile that the Cell number is assumed as the contact number. Only way i see to stop them from contacting me that way is to put up an alternate phone number(actually my FIOS Digital Voice numer) and list me cell number as NONE.
Very strange as I know it wasn't always this why.

Hey TNS. This a guess on my behalf. Most people prefer cell phone contact over home phone. I can say from personal experience no one calls me on my home phone, except telemarketers. Having a cell phone is like a home phone that is with you every where you go. Are you able to edit the phone number on the profile there?

On 4s, Contact name not showing up in messages. I see the contacts phone number.

On my previous iPhones when using Messages, the contact name appeared at the top of the screen. Now I see their 1+xxx-xxx-xxxx (phone number). People who haven't updated their iPhone's yet now don't see my name in Messages, they see my 1+ phone number. What's up with that?

He says "Somehow there was two different catagories - "All Contacts" and "Contacts." All of my contacts were in "All Contacts," I dragged them over to "Contacts" and Messages picked them up." However, I don't understand where these two categories are.
